  1. Not just her - that's standard reality show casting. They cast for 'types.'
  2. Jillibean, I don't know -- I think there will be a lot of anger on Matt's behalf if Jag takes him out (more than the other way 'round). Jag's only excuse for all the flip-flops and broken promises is "I stayed true to my core alliance." If he betrays that, he has to rely on the jury ignoring their own hurt feelings and acknowledging good gameplay. Every jury says that's how they'll vote; the reality, well....
  3. She has the faith of a WHOLE JAR OF MUSTARD! Agree 100%. He's all in on a "loyalty" game. Who knows, it may work. ETA: I mean, if he has his choice, he's going to the end with Matt.
  4. Bowie Jane's gonna make Final Four, maybe Final Three, and people will still be saying, "Bowie who?"
  5. No, he and/or Jag will play the 'loyalty' card - "he was my biggest rival but he was also my biggest ally and I stayed true" or something like that. Which is easy to defend because it's true. And because they're comp beasts, a pretty unbeatable duo. Usually, alpha male ego will break up a pair like them, but they've kept it together. If they really go to final 2 together, though, Jag's got the better pitch hands-down - hell, he came back from the dead and romped all the way to the end! So, not an unfair ending, like a Fields win would've been. But not a very interesting ending, either.
  6. I don't think so. This year's cast pride themselves on being fans and gamers. And they're really big on comp wins. It's gonna be Jag or Matt.
  7. Yeah, at this point the revelation of the Cirie-Jared relationship should elicit a shrug. The contestants will probably be instructed to act all shocked & surprised, but with Jared being voted out relatively early (small mercies!), who really cares anymore.
  8. The only chance Bowie ever had was if she put up Matt & Jag. Instead, she decided to play for third place. Big whoop. So brave. And now Matt & Jag will continue to steamroller their way to the end. *Yawn* The only interesting fact left: Is this the oldest final five in BB history?
  9. So Bowie Jane is playing for third place. Pathetic.
  10. This is such a perfect summary of the situation, I just had to see it again.
  11. I dunno, we've had seasons that were so much worse. I put this season in the mediocre category. A "B" for the contestants, a "D-" for production (mainly for the shitty twists, convoluted "universes" and the Fields).
  12. I think everyone who isn't Matt wants Jag out at this point. He wins everything! On the other hand, everyone seems to genuinely like Matt. He's been unobtrusively hiding behind Jag the whole game and thus looks like less of a threat. Unless there's a seismic change in attitudes, I can see Matt making it to the final and winning.
  13. Once upon a time, I like Matt & Jag, especially Jag. I didn't think he was the greatest player, but he seemed like a relatively normal, nice guy. But as they say, power corrupts. I'm so sick of those 2 guys running the game. It's the ultimate reality game show sin -- it's BORING. Cirie checked out after Jared left. Felicia runs around in circles, so sure of her game smarts, achieving nothing. Blue preens for the cameras. America vows revenge but wins nothing & has no power. I always forget Bowie Jane, for obvious reasons. *sigh* Maybe Jag & Matt actually deserve the win, considering their competiton, but damn. A little shake-up would be nice.
  14. If Cory knows and hasn't used it in any way, he's simply a dumbass. Period. Which still leaves us on the fence about whether he knows or not....
  15. A potentially good season is being ruined by these weak-ass quitters! WTF?? We didn't have this many quitters when the season was 39 days and you had to worry about being eaten by lions! Anyway, count me on Team Katurah - Bruce is a full-of-himself attention whore who gets on my nerves in 30 seconds or less, I can't imagine putting up with his constant phony goofball shtick 24/7. So happy that Kaleb not only got himself onto a winning team, but that he was instrumental in the win! He deserved that. And good for Emily too, getting a fresh start on a winning tribe. Hopefully, we're done with the fucking quitters and can start playing Survivor.
  16. I used to think Jag was smart; he's not. He could have had Cory & America on the block all along with NO fallout if he'd just kept his mouth shut and done the deed. Instead, he wasted his invisible HOH on Felicia and Blue (Felicia and Blue!?), which ended up not keeping him in anyone's good graces anyway. It was cowardly, frankly, and dumb.
  17. Jag telling ANYONE he's the invisible HOH, even Matt, was a huge mistake. There was nothing to gain and everything to lose, and he deserves all the grief he's getting. It was just bad gameplay, IMO. But he had this delicious secret and just HAD to share it! Childish.
  18. Can we just ban all that when someone's evicted? They used to have to leave immediately after the vote. Now, every single person has to get a hug and some evictees -- *cough*Mecole*cough* -- even get to give speeches on the way out. No, once you're evicted, you're dead to the house and you have to get out as quickly as possible.
  19. Sounds good, but then i think of things ilke the Paul/Josh season, complete with CIA-approved torture techniques, and suddenly fake amity doesn't seem so bad. I think what it comes down to is that 100 days is just too damn long, both for the contestants AND the viewers!
  20. Cirie's always had a bit of the dead-eyed psychopath about her. Usually, it's under wraps and she's the ultimate social player. But then the mask slips and it's pretty damn startling and scary when it comes out.
