  1. I do find 3 teams of 6 easier to keep track of than 2 teams of 9, though. It always takes me 2-3 episodes to lock down who's who and on what tribe. And even then, there are still plenty of times I just have to go with the flow.
  2. Yeah, she might as well have announced, "You know those Nigerian prince emails? I invented that!"
  3. Survivor's back! Can I get a 'YAY!' Jelinsky told us he wanted to be legendary and he achieved his heart's desire - getting voted off first without even getting to vote at Tribal makes him a Legendary Loser. Which is all he deserves. I wonder if there was production nudging to make sure he got voted out - Probst's disgust & disdain for quitters is well known and Jelinsky was the Quitter's Quitter: when his ass was on the line and he needed to hustle up support before tribal, he even quit trying. Oh well, he can now boast that in all of Survivor history, only 45 other people have been voted off first! He's part of an elite team! Seems like a great array of personalities this season - loving Tiffany, she wasn't kidding about her hustle! That letter-substitution is one of the few kinds of puzzles I'm good at, so I was cheering her on, and she got it so quickly! I just hope her ego doesn't run away with her, it seems like that's a possibility. Random observations: Liking Q, Bhanu, even Jess (get some sleep, woman!) Looking forward to getting to know the other tribes. Production going for a playful vibe this season (the Andy Griffith Show stuff was amusing) could be fun if they don't go overboard. Yeah, going on Survivor with severe, wide-ranging food allergies sure makes it seem like your path forward is impossible. We'll see. Not sure about Fizzy Water, I mean, Soda. She may be a bit OTT for the long haul. Really liking the odd-couple alliance of Tevyn and Hunter. Just glad our show is back!
  4. That's because she IS in charge, puppet-master & ringleader! I'm looking forward to a Dee win. She's played a great game.
  5. If Bruce's edit is any indication, Production doesn't like him much either.
  6. Dee did not give the credit for her win to her great strength, her indomitable spirit or her faith in God. No, she credited her freakishly long toes. I gotta love her a little for that!
  7. I love the character work on this show but the plot has basically climbed up its own ass and disappeared. WHY did all the TVA people get amnesia when they were bounced out of the TVA? WHY are they all on variant timelines, not the original, sacred timeline? So were those their real lives or just more variant nonsense? Sylvie is a goddess of Asgard. Why is she so set on living on Earth of all places? WHY not a variant Asgard? Or some other, more advanced planet/realm? Loki is the God of Mischief and a powerful sorcerer. Too bad everyone involved with the show's forgotten that, to the point whete they have to deus ex machina him some new, undefined time-shaping power. I'm still enjoying the season, but I can't help feeling they missed the mark somehow and made the story needlessly complicated.
  8. Exactly! And it turned out the person playing scared wasn't Austin, it was Katurah.
  9. I think the season could have survived either Fields alone. Though I would have preferred neither of them. But Zombie Week was just such a big Fuck You to fans who want to watch a real game with actual consistent rules. Sure, Prod has manipulated the game before, but this was so blatant and so unfair. And it slowed the pace of the game to a crawl. The season never really recovered.
  10. The only fun part was Felicia driving Production nuts with her constant demands. Good!
  11. Agreed. Jag's so obsessed with his image, he's willing to sacrifice 3/4 of a million dollars to conform to his notions of himself as the good guy.
  12. "I'm not 35, I'm 104!" Now THAT would be interesting ! At this point, I expect the Cirie/Jared reveal to have all the impact of a wet firecracker. Also, I think Jag will be fine with a Matt win -- because it plays into the story Jag tells himself about what a noble, ethical fellow he is.
  13. Yeah, well, he really needed to Sakh up. ... or a jar of Grey Poupon, maybe....
  14. Oh, I don't hate anyone left, and that in itself is refreshing. They're just ... unpleasant.
  15. Before this all gets lost in the shuffle, I just want to thank everyone for their inciteful, funny, bitchy commentary this season. Every year, this board is the best thing about Big Brother! I'm sure we'll all cross paths in other show threads, but the 24/7 nature of BB makes this board unique. Hail to all y'all!
  16. The way she talks about him, Jared is the apple of her eye. I don't expect her to think twice about anyone else's opinion of her precious boy.
  17. Women's armpit hair doesn't bother me. Women's leg hair bothers me. I know it's irrational, and sexist to boot, but I can't help it!
  18. I usually hate twists that negate the vote (*cough* Jag BB *cough*) but that was great. Kudos to Emily for giving Kaleb the heads up, and to Kaleb for listening.
  19. Nashville's right. I rescind my sympathy.
  20. Especially considering the ridiculous advantages she was handed to start. I have no idea why BJ thinks playing for 3rd is so impressive. I really don't. Felicia plays too hard? That's easy to say when you've been on the top for weeks. What's she supposed to do, lay down & let you steamroller over her? Oh right, you did that anyway. So what's the point of disparaging her? Seems like the final weeks of BB always strips the veneer of amiability off of everyone left.
  21. Felicia actually made me feel sorry for Cerie. Felicia's disgusting! Cerie must feel so alone in that house right now. She can't standy anyone and her only "ally" annoys the crap outta her.
