So I watched the video about the house and was underwhelmed. I like their other one better. The new one has a meh kitchen (when will the open shelving trend die) no closet doors in the downstairs bedrooms and no handrails on the staircase. How did that pass inspection anyhow? And Jeremy bragging about how the whole house was renovated. Maybe I've watched too much Mike Holmes, but that is usually a recipe for disaster. At least he got his coveted double sink in the bathroom. Which I never understood the big deal over. But overall the house is meh. YMMV.

It was indeed stupidity. Criminal stupidity. I'm so glad he's gone. He always seemed smarmy to me, and useless as a captain.

So positive notes. Love her dining table. It looks beautiful and sturdy. The floors are nice, and I do like the cabinets in the kitchen. The couch also looks nice, and it's a huge improvement over Big Birtha. The blinds in the bedroom are actually awesome. I'd love to have those in the bedroom. I wish they would have a regular headboard and put the shelf of doom somewhere else except over the bed. I've never seen anyone else with a heavy shelf over the bed. So they don't have a TV? At all? I'm not a park the kids in front of the TV all day person, but it would be nice for them to be able to watch something once in a while. And with the exception of the Bible she's made notes in, I don't think any of those books have been opened, much less read.

I couldn't help but notice that the CM wasn't on last night. I wonder if that's just the way it was supposed to be, or if it's a direct result of what's come out about Josh, and Discos firing of him. I also wonder if Casey and the CM will be on future shows.
