I don't think the show needs to be centered on Luann. But I don't think she should lose her Apple either. Her demotion was a contract dispute. She has brought the drama the past few seasons. Past performance is no guaranty of future events. Ramona, Carole and Dorinda have nothing going on. Bethenny looks poised to move on. So it might be time to retool.

Why would they demote Luann? She actually has a story line. She met a guy and got married. She has an ongoing business in selling on Evine. She is adapting to being married to a confirmed bachelor. She has a beautiful Hamptons house. A boat. She isn't a Countess anymore. But she has a pretty good life with good house porn and relationship stuff. What do the rest of the women have going for them? Ramona? A sad divorce who doesn't show any of her dates. Whose only business is sticking her nose in other peoples business. Bethenny? A serial adulteress who can not maintain a relationship with someone she does not pay a salary. Carole? Future president of the Cat Ladies Auxiliary of the sad and pathetic hanger on club. Dorinda? Who makes it nice. Nice and stupid and drunk and sloppy. Tinsley who will swap gum with random guy like it was bowling shoes that who knows who was wearing. I mean ok that's your feet and you are wearing socks. But sharing gum with a guy you just met? Finally Sonja? What's her story line these days? None of them should be full time housewives if Luann is not. Make them all friends and bring on a whole new set of younger women who are actually housewives. You know. Married. Like Luann. Luann is technically the only one entitled to be a house wife. Because she is the only one who is a wife.

Why can't they leave her alone now? I mean I get that she is on a reality show and it is all gist for the mill. But it seems that it was the only plot line for two seasons now. Luann has repeated explained herself. She says she believes Tom, forgives Tom for his transgressions and wants to and actually did marry Tom. So maybe these harpies can take a seat and learn some manners. Maybe they might get a nice guy interested in them. You know. Someone like John.

This is kind of the same thing that happens in Jersey all the time. They import these outside people who have a story about one of the main characters and the others attack and ask that they justify, defend, excuse or explain away whatever nonsense an anonymous fame whore might spew in the hope of getting on TV. I don't think these women are telling the truth. They are hurt and jealous that Tom did not choose them. Now he could be a dirty dog. Or a promiscuous chicken. But Luann got married to the guy. Did any of the rapists or married guys that Bethenny has been banging marry her? Did any of the Euro trash dudes who are using Sonja as a receptacle marry her? Did any of the kids from the schoolyard that Carole and Tinsley hit on try to marry them? Or even try to get mommies permission. NO I TELL YOU!!!! NO!!!!!!! Luann is married to her Tom. She gets to sleep all day and bang on her Tom Tom all night. What do the other women have except and excess of bile that Linda Blair would envy? Suck it bitches.

So more of a road runner instead of a chicken. That would make Ramona the Wiley Coyote. Wasn't the name of her company Acme Jewelery, Trophies and Trinkets?

The thing is even a drunken brain cell impaired moron like Dorinda can see that the logistics don't work. Luann has him on a tight leash. She is always leaving to meet him. He can't possibly by serially dating and groping all of these liars. There are not enough hours in the night. They are just making up stuff and feeding it to dummies like Ramona and evil bitches like Bethenny who are actively seeking to hurt Luann.

Why should Tom change anything. It is not a deal breaker with Luann. Because they got married. He doesn't have to conform to Ramona's Rules of Order. Or the Bethenny Code. He doesn't owe an explanation to anyone other than Luann. Don't you think that all of these women who are coming out of the woodwork are only doing it to hurt him and Luann because he is marrying her and not them. By my count he have been seeing thirty seven different women who all claim that they were exclusive with him. Don't you know the technical term for this? It's called bullshit.

You only get discretion on period dramas on PBS. This is a lack of period drama on Bravo. Big difference. Just sayn'

Yeah. Discretion is the one quality you find in most of the people who are on reality shows.

I don't think she is holding it up to be something it is not. I think she is saying it is what it is. That she is happy with it. That the chicken is happy with it. That it really is not the business of anyone else. Especially people who have always disliked her like Bethenny and Ramona and who claim to be concerned for her but really only want to tear her down. She has said "I am fine with it. I love Tom. It is nobodies business but me so butt out. Suck it bitches. I am getting married and you are not."

Isn't it interesting that the only person who seems to be happy and content and have something good going on in their life is Luann. Sonja is feuding with her house guest and as usual on the edge of financial ruin. Tinsley can't find a date among her peers so is using a younger dude to assuage her feelings that life had passed her by. That's Carole's lane. Bethenny is bitter. Bitter about her divorce. About her ex. About her old apartment. About her new apartment. About her daughters extra tutu. Dorinda is drunk and stupid and left the cake out in the rain. And upside down. Ramona is out on the prowl like a rabid hyena. Very good look for a demented looking 60 year old with balloon sized fake titties. Should attract a lot of guys who she can harangue about how terrible Luann's life and choices are when they don't even know her. Luann is the only one enjoying life. Piloting her boat with the wind in her hairs. So what if the promiscuous chicken has a tiny dinghy. It's not the size of the ship it is the motion of the ocean. She is getting her dress. Getting her plans done. Getting her Wedding on. Suck it bitches.

A marriage of convenience has to be convenient for both parties. But it doesn't have to be convenient for anyone else. Ramona and Sonja are seething because they thought if he was going to choose anyone then he should have chosen them. Bethenny is seething because she hates Luann and always has since the first episode. So anything that make her happy makes her livid. Carole is just a sucker fish stuck on Bethenny's ass so what she thinks doesn't matter because she has to wait for Bethenny to tell her what to think. Dorinda is happy for Luann. But then she is high and/or drunk so she is just happy about everything until you cross her. Then she wants to rip your face off. Luann and Tom don't care. They are just cashing the checks. They got married. Everything these harpies spout means squat.

Ya think? I think she was serious. She was just too quick with the list of things she does to keep John under her thumb. As I have said before he can do a lot better than this drunken slob. Run away little Johnny run away.

I thought Dorinda joking about reading John's "text's" was kidding on the square. I bet she does go through his phone and mail when she visits his office. She totally gives off that control freak vibe. What is amusing is how she is always knocking John but then implies that she has to to check out that he is not straying. Which is it? Does she barely tolerate him and he has to be on the straight and narrow.........or is she jealous and has to make sure that nobody poaches on her territory? It just doesn't add up.

You beat me to it! Spot on! How do you calibrate that exactly? She looks pretty happy to me. When she was on the boat in the Hamptons with the wind in her hair talking about her upcoming marriage she looked pretty happy.

Hey they cut off the current attractions when I dvr-ed the episode. Is it true that Bobby tangled up his penis in a knot and no one would help him get it untwisted?

She really was quite impressive. Her calm unflappable approach and attention to detail were really important in untangling the anchor chain. In cleaning the toilets, not so much. She needs to pick her spots. But all and all she is great.

This episode totally changed my opinion of Captain Sandy. She was calm, organized and unflappable. She shut down Bobby's macho bullshit and kept her eye on the ball. She was absolutely right in telling the girl deckhand to go jump in the water. She could have told Booby to do the same. They were worthless. The young kid just wanted to help and was smart enough to keep his mouth shut and do as he was told. It was up to Sandy and the bosun and the real crew to get it fixed. Great job by the Captain. Of course heads should roll because of the screwup so lets see what happens.

I always lose it at the end. Luckily the wife puts up with my nonsense.

You know you are right. I have been unfair to Adam. I guess I just don't like milleneals and his slacker veggie boy routine sort of pisses me off. Plus he gets some ricochet hate that bounces off of Carole. But I agree. He is pretty inoffensive. Bland. Like a vegetable. Soggy broccoli or wilted Kale as opposed to John's slice of roasted pork or Toms promiscuous chicken. I will stop making fun of him. But just one nit. He is not really heterosexual. With the sex he has with Carole I would classify him as a necrophiliac.

Food requests are rough but if you are paying so much for a charter they need to accommodate reasonable requests. My wife had to go gluten and lactose free because of severe allergies and it really limits eating out at restaurants. Unless we go to a gluten free restaurant there is usually nothing she can eat. I end up creating dish at the table. It always ends up being grilled chicken over salad with olive oil. I just have them bring the ingredients from a couple of dishes to the table and I make it up right there for her. It is a major league pain in the ass but you have to do it if you are allergic.

Yes. She was proud of that fact. She bragged about it in a monologue once when talking about child care. I just gave it as an example of some good conduct by an all around douche. The balance is just missing in the man bashing. I am sure that John and Tom do a lot of great stuff. None of which we will ever see. They are really stupid for participating.
