Whitney is hawking some photo tiles on her stories. Says that Bradley asked to borrow a couple and she found them on his bedroom door.  They were perfectly centered and level. The kid is 8.  Sure Whitney. He did it all by himself. 🙄

Whitney and Katie are the worst influencers ever. They don't even come up with semi-believable lies. 🤣🤣🤣

  2. Lmfaoooo, imagine being Friendzoned by your own husband. I don't know where Lawson got the flowers, but even grocery stores usually have a decent card selection. I feel bad for crapping on a nice gesture, but it is kind of funny. They have no chemistry as it is, and then Lawson goes and gets her the most platonic card ever. 🤣🤣🤣

Lawson's been gone for 6 days?

I was a bit surprised to hear that as well. Has Tiffany not made any friends? I figured Callie came out for a weekend or something, but six days of hanging out with a fourteen year-old? At this point Tiffany has been in Nashville for over a year, but doesn't seem to have any semblance of a life.

  4. I saw per their Instagram today that E&C were in Franklin. My brother lives there and he took me to The Factory the last time I visited. It's weird seeing Fundies in a place I've been to, even though it's a well known landmark.

Interesting that Evan's waxing poetic for Nashville. First off, yeah, good luck affording a house in a market that's flooded with transplants from NY and CA. If they were stressed over being outbid in Knox, they're in for a whole new level of hurt. I'm guessing what Evan and Carlin really want are the Stewarts raising their kids so can fill their days with....whatever it is they do.

I'm also not surprised they're teasing medical drama. Their YouTube has flatlined.

  5. I'm curious to see who's been hanging around Lallybroch. As mentioned above, I also thought that weird mirage in the tunnel was some sort of portal. It reminded me of the one in Jamaica.

I know there's been mixed feelings on the Quaker duo, but I like them. It's nice to see some pleasant characters after the Christies were such a miserable lot. Also nice to see Claire finally working with an 18th century physician who isn't a total ass. I did feel bad for the amputee. Things were finally looking up for the poor guy, and then he gets abandoned.

It seems like they're moving through the war pretty swiftly but not showing a lot of action. Maybe that'll come in later episodes or maybe they just didn't have the budget for large battle scenes.

So the Stewarts pay full price for their shit while telling others to get a Prime deal?

Of course they did! The Stewarts only have the purest, most altruistic intentions when it comes to recommending products to their fans! 😜

When they were having their real food in the yard with “cousins and friends “, Layla was sound asleep in a hammock in the yard. It was a video and Carlin considered it, “so precious “.

That poor baby. I just want to adopt her, feed her healthy food and put her to bed at a reasonable hour. She deserves so much better. And Carlin had the nerve to say Layla was asleep because she played too hard. Yeah, right.

He seems to have healed quickly or not been as injured as he might have been.

Option B. I got a horrible rope burn on my right hand from my dog's leash and I was applying antibiotic creams and fresh bandages for weeks. If it was really as bad as they made it out to be, there's no way Travis would be walking around with bare hands.

Their entire lives are taken up by FOMO and keeping up with the Joneses, or in this case, keeping up with the Balkas. What a sad existence. They're adults who never matured past junior high age.

Exactly. It's like when Evan gets on a health kick for two days. They spend a fortune on organic meat and produce (most of which probably ends up getting tossed) and then it's back to soda and fast food a week later.

Travis and Katie have a Tesla, so Evan and Carlin need a Tesla. Kelton has a fancy-shmancy Traeger, so now Evan wants to be some sort of grill master. It never ends.

If Carlin is an actual influencer with Amazon, her posts according to Amazon’s rules, are supposed to reflect that. Carlin’s don’t.

If I'm not mistaken, she has to disclose that she makes commission, correct?

  9. Influencers get commissions on their affiliate links, even for Amazon. Today and tomorrow is Prime Day, so the deals are insane right now. Carlin and Co. are trying to exploit capitalize on their followers, who are likely already shopping, hence the big push of their "favorites."

I've been wondering for a while how these two have avoided the adult reality check most of us get in our early 20s.  Most of us have a situation where we overspend a little and have to tighten our belt to pay off a larger than expected credit card bill, then we settle down and learn our lesson.  These two don't seem to have had that moment.  I wonder if they just throw the bills in a pile and pay some on them when they feel like it.

It wouldn't surprise me if they worked out payment plans for the medical bills and pay only the monthly minimum on whatever credit cards they have. If they qualified to finance the Tesla, their credit must be good, however I 100% believe they blow every dime that comes in. I doubt they have investment or retirement accounts, or even emergency savings. That requires delayed gratification and there's no way E&C have the maturity for that.

Gil and Kelly still act like high school kids! In a lot of ways, Carlin, and by extension Evan, are just following her parents' example. Don't have any money and can't handle more kids? No problem, let's have ten more and gawd will provide.

Erin and Chad are living by that philosophy as well. Six kids deep and they're still dependent on church friends for discounted housing.

  11. Alyssa said she was worried about juggling Rhett's feedings and the other kids during stops. In her defense, I can understand wanting an extra pair of hands. If I'm not mistaken, Spirit flies from Knoxville to Orlando, so it's pretty easy to score a cheap ticket. It's a crappy airline, but the flight is short, so it's doable. John did not make the trip to the farm. I imagine his family's HVAC business wanted all hands on deck. Tradespeople charge exorbitant fees to come out on weekends and holidays, especially during summer. Lots of money to be made.

  12. People on Reddit are speculating that she's pregnant. In Trace's vlog, Josie's asleep on the couch when he and Lydia first arrive, then in the next clip, there's a brief shot of her looking dazed in the kitchen and Kelly's rubbing her arm. When I first saw it, I thought Josie may have just been groggy from being woken up, but on second watch, it looks like she's feeling unwell. Maybe that's the reason for the noticeably bigger boobs.

  13. Lol, have you guys seen Alyssa's latest video? They are doing some serious image rehab for John.

It starts with the usual nonsense. It's right before July 4th weekend. Alyssa is complaining. They're so busy, it's chaos, she's trying to pack for the trip to the farm, yadda, yadda. Isaiah is flying down to help make the drive to South Carolina. A bunch of talk about VBS and how it's sooooo tiring, which I fast forwarded through, because who gives a shit.

Anyways, the good stuff starts at the 11:00 minute mark. Alyssa goes out with a friend for breakfast and shopping. She comes home, shows her haul, then mentions how John took all the kids to a friend's house to swim, fed Rhett and put him down for a nap. She refers to him as "Super Dad" and then says he's been calling himself that all day. Forgive me, because I don't have children, but isn't rounding up the crew and going places just a normal part of life? Do the Websters ever leave their house as a unit for anything besides church?

The sales pitch for John Webster, Super Dad, doesn't end there. The last two minutes features Alyssa gushing because John "surprised" her and changed the oil on her SUV. She hypes him up some more, saying how awesome he is for picking Isaiah up at the airport so she can get all the kids bathed, dressed and ready for bed. Lol, I guess Alyssa isn't bright enough to realize she isn't getting the better end of that deal....

Bless their hearts, though. In their carefully curated attempt to make themselves look better, they unironically make themselves look worse. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  14. Trace and Lydia released their latest vlog. Normally I find these two duller than dishwater, but I was curious to see the holiday weekend on the farm. Some things that stood out:

When they arrived, Trace asked Mama Jane how Bill was doing and she replied, "Just pitiful, he can't remember who he is." I thought Bill looked physically better than he had in a while but it sounds like he's having memory issues now. I really hope they have a lot of support on the days the Bates horde doesn't invade their space. 😥

To his credit, Trace got up early every day to help Papa Bill and Lydia assisted with the food, so it was good to see not all of the family members are totally useless.

We got two brief glimpses of Tori and she didn't look pregnant, which was genuinely shocking. I guess it could be early stages, though.

Mama Jane is such a hot ticket. She's the kind of elderly person that needs to live forever.

Omg why in the world are Bree and Roger waiting to ask Jemmy about the Spaniard?? Do they think he’s going to retain this random memory for years and years? They don’t need to touch the gold if they don’t want to but I call BS on Jemmy remembering where this cave is at this point.

Agreed, right up there with, "I don't want to read all of Ma and Da's letters at once!." Um, NOBODY would do that. First off, you couldn't resist the curiosity and second, what if God forbid there was a house fire or flood or some other accident where they got destroyed? You'd have to go the rest of your life never knowing what happened. I understand the show is doing it because we need plot to unfold in both timelines, but it's not very realistic.

I miss so much on this show and get confused... In the future, Brianna and Roger learn they saved Jamie and Claire. How did Brianna and Roger actually save Jamie and Claire from death?

I'm confused as well. I guess you could argue Bree warning Jamie and Claire caused them to be aware and more careful, but that doesn't make much sense given the fire didn't happen in the month the newspaper claimed. I'm assuming Claire wrote the details in her letters, so Bree and Roger must've known the dates didn't match.

I’ve been checking out Josie’s IG and I have a question:  Has she had a boob job?  Her boobs are huge!

Josie's definitely had Botox and fillers, but I don't know about the boobs. You're out of commission for a while after a breast augmentation and I can't think of a stretch where she was noticeably absent from social media or not going about her normal routine. You can tell she wears a lot of padded bras, so that plus maybe being well endowed from nursing is giving her a very, ahem, full bustline.

  17. I wonder if the Pastor encouraged his wife to befriend Carlin, hoping the Stewarts' sizeable social media following would be free advertisement for the church? Otherwise I can't figure out why a woman in her forties with (presumably) older children would want to hang out with her?

At this point, Carlin is the MLM version of a friend. She presents a fun picture and people eagerly sign up for the ride. Then they slowly realize they're being exploited, and their energy is drained. They finally hit the wall and tap out, and off she goes to find new supply. It's a never ending cycle.

I saw a story that showed Gil feeding Zane watermelon, it looked like it was the first time the kid has tasted watermelon. Has that kid ever had fresh unprocessed food?

Carlin will post the kids eating eggs and banana, but that's once in a while when she wants to shut up her critics. The rest of the time it's chicken nuggets, chips, sweets and candy. I've never in my life seen small children consume so much sugar and I have dumb ass cousins who used to put soda in sippy cups.

Good lord from Greenwich, Connecticut to rural Tennessee and Clown college. Must have been somewhat of a culture shock.  Loved "college."

Definitely a bit of an odd choice. You'd think they'd go to Liberty, which if I'm not mistaken, is actually accredited.

  20. I can see Roger and Bree having a decent amount of cash. Bree would've had whatever Frank left her plus Claire's savings and the sale of the Boston house. Roger might've had an inheritance from the Reverend.

I thought the Quaker girl's name was Rachel? I agree there's an obvious love triangle brewing, but I'm hoping William taps out. It's the 1700s and he's an Earl. No way would he be allowed to marry someone outside his social class. She'd be more compatible with Ian. The scenes of William and Ian in the swamp were great though, especially when Rollo laid down next to Willie.

Roger being the Debbie Downer after Bree kicked ass in her interview was so annoying. What's stopping him from going back to work? If he can't get hired at a fancy university then teach high school or at a small college.

I'm glad the mystery behind the obituary was cleared up.

I'm looking forward to Claire and Jamie meeting famous historical figures as they establish themselves in New York. This season has been really good so far.

It'll make for some IG content and that is all that matters.

I was just about to say that. 😂

I'm curious to see who these "girlfriends" are. Is it the same middle-aged crowd Carlin was with on the cruise?

As far as "go, go, go," I feel like Carlin is a walking billboard for anxiety. Some people are naturally high energy and need things to occupy their minds, but Carlin strikes me as someone who's running away. She can't handle a home, business and kids forcing her to grow up, so she's always finding excuses to leave town. The worst part is, I have a feeling this idiot is going to pop up pregnant soon. Katie and cutie pie Hailey got wayyyyy too much attention at the farm. It's time for a shiny, new toy.

  22. I guess if you had to Sister-Nanny, Travis and Katie wouldn't be the worst option. Katie doesn't strike me as a taskmaster like Alyssa or an irresponsible idiot like Carlin. I'd much rather cuddle with Hailey than deal with Alyssa's screechy brood, or Carlin's kids who are up til midnight because they have no schedule.
