I just got done watching Alyssa's latest video. She's clearly reading the comments about never taking the girls anywhere. They went on a park playdate to meet friends. The girls were so over the top with excitement, you'd swear they got paroled early from San Quentin.
Alyssa and John are going away on their anniversary trip. She's keeping the location secret to make her audience watch the next video, but she mentions they'll be hiking and it's supposed to be rainy every day. I'm thinking Pacific Northwest?
She explains the kids will be split up because it's hard to find one person who can watch all five at once. Allie and Lexi had their bags packed a week in advance, and all four girls (even Maci) are chomping at the bit by the front door, anxious to leave. Apparently they can't wait to get away from their parents as much as their parents can't wait to get away from them!
Alyssa tries to explain it away by saying the girls like staying at other peoples' houses because "their dreams come true" i.e., they get whatever they want. I wonder if they like it because they actually get attention and treated like individuals rather than background characters in The World Of Rhett.
There's an agonizingly long scene of Alyssa and John packing and droning on about nothing, then mercifully the video ends. We'll have to wait until next week to see which amazing location John and Alyssa manage to make look boring!

Erin did a lot of baking before leaving and will stock up their freezer with goodies. I imagine that Erin will also cook while she is there. Perhaps her visit will be a helpful one.
I saw that and thought it was incredibly sweet of Erin to wrap everything individually so Bill and Jane could pull items from the freezer as needed. Erin took care of Bill after he came home from the hospital, so I think her visits are similar to Alyssa's where she actually helps.

I agree this was one of their best episodes. It was a little bittersweet because I have the feeling this was the last time we're going to see Dr. Sturgis and Dr. Linkletter. If so, I'm glad they went out on a positive note.
Missy telling Sheldon she was turning his room into a dance studio was priceless. I really hope one of the remaining episodes focuses on her, rather than limiting her to zingy one-liners.
George handling the recruiting process like the father of an athlete was hysterical. He's a lot smarter than his family gives him credit for.
I'm really going to miss this show. 😭

The way I cackled over this comment! It reminds me of 80s and 90s sitcoms, when the youngest kid outgrew their cutesy phase. They'd always have the mom pop up pregnant.
I agree this is the set-up for the announcement and E&C feigning surprise. Their views have been tanking, so a new baby will keep the Tesla payments current for a while.
With regards to the pool, I'm thinking of a possible scenario. They had a casual conversation with their sweet church contractor friend. He throws out a price range and a tentative time frame. Things change when he does a thorough yard inspection and tells the Stews they need all kinds of amendments, therefore more $$$ and a longer build. All of a sudden party! party! isn't looking so fun and they figure they'll spend the summer at Katie's apartment pool instead. Otherwise I can't figure why they haven't broken ground. We're nearly into May. As noted above pool season will be over by the time they get it done.

Maybe Katie will stay at Carlin's on the days that Travis is away? In a weird way, it's a win-win for everyone. Evan and Carlin hate being alone together, so Katie will provide a buffer. Hailey can play with Layla and Zade. Remi can play with Izzy in the Stews' huge, fenced yard. Travis can rest easy knowing his wife won't be crying her eyes out every day, or even worse: begging to tag along. Katie won't have the anxiety of being alone in their apartment and having to adult for the first time in her life. Everybody ends up happy!

Normally I'd say it's great Travis is actually pursuing his music, but I don't think Katie will be able to manage on her own, pregnant, with a toddler and large dog. I'm assuming Remi has to be walked several times a day. It's not like Katie can leave Hailey by herself in the apartment to take the dog out, and trying to wrangle the two at the same time will be difficult. I predict they'll be moving into a house before long.

Same. I love Georgie but can't stand Mandy. There really isn't anything about their relationship to make me invested in a spin-off. I feel like the heavy focus on them this season is dragging the show down as it is.

Damn, I don't know who pissed in Alyssa's Cheerios today, but she is in a mood. She's filming in the car, waiting for gas at Costco. Even heavily filtered, she looks like an exhausted wreck. She makes a snarky comment about having to go grocery shopping with five kids, then shows off the LuluLemon belt bag a 'friend' sent her. The next slide is a picture of her wearing it with the caption, "It's growing on me." IMO, that's pretty dang rude because it implies she didn't like the gift to begin with. I'm sure that'll make her 'friend' feel real good!
Does Costco sell boxed wine? Because if so, Alyssa needs to stock up by the pallet. She's becoming more and more lifeless with every Instagram post.

I just saw that Lawson and Tiffany are at the farm as well. What's up with this newfound friendship? Evan and Carlin used to be in Nashville every other weekend and I can't recall a time they ever went to Lawson's.
I do find it curious that Katie and Travis are doing their own thing. Aside from the initial move-in video, it doesn't seem like the couples have spent much time together. Part of me wonders if it isn't a business move on K&T's end, as in they're trying to remain a separate brand. Carlin pretty much hijacked Alyssa's audience by posting the girls' birthday party to You Tube before Alyssa could get around to it. As it stands now, Carlin's video is at 115k views while Alyssa's is only at 53k. I know K&T have been out of town quite bit, but you can't tell me E&C wouldn't tag along if invited.

Carlin and Evan are on the road again. The latest victims are Papa Bill and Mama Jane. The Stewarts will be at the farm for the next few days. Carlin's new reels featured shots of packing, a stop at the gas station and the kids loading up on candy. Nothing like a toddler on a sugar high to make a road trip more bearable! I guess it never occurs to E&C to grab a bag of pretzels or Cheez-Its for the kids to snack on.
So, what are everyone's thoughts? Will Evan help with farm chores or is this strictly a content trip? Will Carlin clean Jane's house top to bottom the way Alyssa did on her last visit?

She really did. She didn't even give Tikky credit for gifting (or should I say, grifting?) her the clothes. Tikky outed herself after Alyssa was asked about it a hundred times on Instagram.

My first reaction was feeling bad for Hailey. She will only be 19 months old when the baby arrives. Her world is going to change so much.
My kids are 2 years apart- I know it’s only a 5 month difference but they mature a lot in those 5 months.
I think if they'd stayed in New Jersey, Hailey would've had an easier transition. The Clarks would've still doted on her while giving attention to the new baby. With the Bates, they're only about the latest and greatest, the rest of the grandkids blend together in an indistinguishable horde. Katie may not notice because it's what she's used to, but Travis surely will.

The Daddy/Daughter date would be a cute idea if it was simply John taking the child to do an activity of her choice, but the way they romanticize the whole thing is so gross. It comes across like a sick grooming ritual. Dolling a kid in frilly dress and makeup, John ringing the doorbell like a boyfriend. It's so icky.

Travis and Katie must not have been able to go to North Carolina, hence Carlin calling in the B team (or in Tiffany's case, the Z team). I mean, seriously Kelly and Tiffany third wheeling Carlin's birthday trip is the most random thing ever.
With regards to Layla, I saw the video and couldn't understand one word beyond "Happy Birthday." That kid desperately needs real school and speedy therapy.

That video gutted me. It was especially hard watching how deliriously happy Michael was to finally be pregnant, knowing that it wouldn't end well. I also thought the clips of them telling the families were so sweet, especially the way Tori got so excited and ran over to hug her sister.
I thought Michael was very honest in telling her story. I believe she is genuinely happy for her siblings but she admitted it's hard feeling left out. I'm glad she's set boundaries, as I've always worried about the family taking advantage of her.
I hope that they're able to become parents one day. I know adoption isn't like ordering Door Dash, where you request a kid and it's on your porch an hour later, but I'm a bit surprised they didn't start pursuing this avenue years ago.

Lulz! They haven't even been in Knoxville for two weeks and they're already fleeing town. Per Katie's stories, Travis surprised her with a vacation. They stayed at Lawson's tonight and are flying out of Nashville in the morning. She didn't say where they were going.
So much for Travis concentrating on his music, lol.

I'm not sure, but one thing I do know is they won't last long in that apartment. At the end of their Moving In video, Travis and Katie were complaining about the noise, the constant traffic outside their door, Remi constantly barking, the lack of yard and having to put the dog on the leash whenever she goes out, etc. They tried to frame it positively like, "Oh, this is stuff we're getting used to! It's so different!," but Travis isn't a good actor. He gives away all his emotions on his face and he was annoyed. I predict they buy a house before the end of the year (or go back to NJ when the renter's lease is up).
I thought the lack of Easter photos was interesting as well. Did none of the family get together for dinner? Carlin and Evan did that sad backyard egg hunt and Josie and Kelton cooked for his family, but where was everyone else? No festivities at the Big House? Unless maybe they did do something and everyone's saving the footage for YouTube?
