It seems like this show is toast. No new episodes for awhile. HGTV seems to float a new show with just a few episodes and if it doesn't get the results they want, it's done. I saw that happened with Roommate Hunters which I enjoyed. It was different from the constant parade of Brothers shows.

I watched 5 minutes and it was so cringe inducing I turned off the TV.

I just watched the Ecuador episode with the couple who were starting a bed and breakfast. I feelt that the woman was thinking more about what she wanted not her customers. The one they picked was modern and sterile without any charm, in my opinion. I would have loved to stay at house number 3.

I didn't catch that the NC husband was a pastor. He was incredibly unlikeable for such a people centric career.

Aubrey in Indy was a real control freak. I feel sorry for her husband. I don't get these overengaged moms on HH who need to be right next to their kids. Don't you have a life of your own???

Re: Louisiana couple The husband was definitely the more mature of the two. Plus, I was annoyed by the SAHM trying to assert her preference for location when he had an on call job.

I didn't think Basement Sister was faking but she has been massively enabled by Lots of Hats Mom and is a professional victim. Coach Mike was no match for her. Grey Gardens...love it!!

Going back to buying a vacation home and not renting it, I bought a condo in Florida...nothing fancy, just wanted a place to retreat to from the Midwest. I paid less than 90K for a 2 bed 2 bath and was very happy with it but I didn't want other people in my place. Just my preference. I ended up moving to Florida permanently, sold my Midwest home and with the proceeds, got a villa that is much nicer and more square footage.

I loved that first house in Kansas as well. I really thought that Miss Precious Snookie was going to get her way with the $2M house.

I just saw the Puerto Rico episode with the couple where the husband had gotten an inheritance from his mother. I wish I had a dollar for everytime he said mother and beachfront. His wife didn't look too happy with not getting a pool.
