So who was spying on Maxie and austin?  I hope it’s not peter.

    he is most sincerely dead.

Or, as Trelaine from ST:TOS once said: "Dead, Dead, Dead."

Btw, does anyone know where NLG is these days?  Not that there has been anything of significance going on with Alexis's character for quite some time. Is there something going on with the actor?

Taggert in protective papa mode is a vibe. God I love Taggert. Portia and Trina dancing and squeeing in excitement was cute. Those scenes were a good juxtaposition to the utterly dysfunctional Cassadine household.

THIS to Infinity. I loved when Rory kind of said to Marcus, "you've got the problem, not me," and Portia had to gently hold Taggert back.

I get the vibe - yesterday I semi-jokingly told my God Daughter that if her BF ever made her unhappy, like Lt. Cmdr. Worf, I would happily "kill him where he stands." She got very quiet and I added - "just kidding, kind of."

The cast is bloated and I would have preferred a recast rather than a new character, but anyway you flip it, the show needs an infusion of new blood and someone who isn't related to the canvas.

A recast Lucky would have been perfect for Britt. He's been away far too long.

Nik and Esme - oh nooooo. Is Nik that desperate that he's lost his moral compass.

Nik has always lusted after other men's women. Remember the fling with Elizabeth?

In other news, did anyone else notice that - for today at least - Terry and Britta really look like sisters?

I like Rory and Rory and Trina already

    Me too.

Personal note: I'm really rooting for NuTrina. I have an old B&W picture of my Mother (in formal ware) from the late 1930s or early 1940s and the actress looks so much like my Mom at a comparable age. It's uncanny.

Willow and Mikey rolling around the bed--just looked like Ken and-Barbie.  It just seems like Chad has absolutely no equipment.

Also, did you see Mikey's patented "Boobies" face when Willow took off her top? He's gotta be doing that on purpose at this point just to troll us.

When Bobbie popped-up this week, it was just a painful reminder that Snarly, Mikey, and Joss are Spencers - a legacy family that, other than Laura, has gone to shit. Cousin Valerie has completely disappeared. The Qs still have a certain amount of gravitas, but in the end it's all about Clan Cortinthos.

Speaking of families, I think this week marked the first time Sam ever verbally acknowledged her Cassadine roots, and she didn't seem too happy about doing it.

With better writers, all these characters could have been so much cooler.

    Shoot me . . . . I like Sona.

I don't actively hate them, which in my book is pretty huge. I find Sonny more tolerable with Nina. There is a marked difference. Sonny is a lot more mellow with her.

Actually I like Sona too.  They make an attractive couple, as do Dante and Sam. Nina really does soften and mellow Sonny, and I have feeling that's something MB has been pulling for.

Of course, Rome won't be fired.

I think he will. Or more accurately, he'll be fired and the students will do a protest and Maddox's family will change their mind or Maddox will move in with Rome and Regina and they will be one big happy extended family. Rome will quit and move on to his next quest.

I think you're correct since, as another poster noted elsewhere, this group always fails up. The sad thing about that is there's almost always some collateral damage to persons outside of the central characters. Rome and Regina started out as the most stable of the series regulars, now they're basically as screwed-up as everyone besides Eddie (mostly) and Sophie (usually).

Do we know yet if this is the season finale or series finale?   I am ready for this train wreck to be over.

So am I and we should know on 5/13/2022 since the only networks left to cancel shows are Fox and ABC.  Hoping ABC cancels both A Million Little Things and Big Sky.

I'm conflicted here. AMLT is still far from perfect, but significantly better than last season. Some new shows take three seasons to find a groove. Most notably Star Trek:NG was mostly unwatchable in Seasons One and Two, found its Mojo in Season Three and never looked back.

Plus, I think ABC is generally committed to having at least one thirty-something oriented show on the air at all times. Based on that, my guess is this show will get one more season to either succeed or fail.

Bless Sonny's heart for giving a hard working young man, who asked if there were any positions available at the gym, a chance ...to commit crimes, murder people and/or die for him.

Whether it was a creative decision or Mo's request, we really have gotten a mostly kinder, gentler Sonny since his return. It struck me recently during his warm, friendly interaction with Spinelli, who he typically only had barely restrained tolerance for in the past. It's good look, and kind of making me like him again.

  10. Does anyone know how much longer TempAlexis is going to be on? Not only is the acting terrible, but half of the actor's dialogue seems out-of-character when compared to NLG's version. Or maybe it's the way the lines are delivered, either way, it's pretty bad.

Just how many loaded syringes does Harmony have lying around? She seems to be able to pull one out whenever she needs it! Maybe if she’d just quietly walked up behind Carly and stuck the needle in her neck, there wouldn’t have been a fight. like everyone else, I really want Harmony to just drive off that cliff with Carly in the car.

As many physical altercations as Carly has with other women I find it fascinating that she would be taken down by Harmony, a woman quite possibly several years her senior and clearly under her weight class.  Reveals Cujo for the punch less bully we've always known her to be.

Rome gets a job offer based on zero credentials and without getting vetted by a ruling board. Still don’t know how Gary makes any money.

On 4/21/2022 at 1:25 PM, izabella said:

This.  This is a guy [Gary] who wants to have a child and be a parent and teach him how to be a person.  Please.  Will Gary teach his kid to beat up other kids to solve his problems?  Yes, yes he will.

It's hard to tell if Gary even has a job these days.  He's the only series regular who doesn't even mention work. Everything always turns up roses for our crew, however. Rome goes to his Alma mater with the intention of torching his former Dean and ends up getting a gig instead. Although he does seem to be one of the few leads who understands that his actions have consequences. When his old friend informed him that the Dean had abruptly resigned, it was clear that Rome wondered/worried if their conversation had anything to do with it.

Also,  the concept of Gary as a Father is terrifying. Yes, he is incredible with kids (mostly because he is one) but he sets such a piss-poor example of how to be a decent human being that it's pretty much a wash.

Same. One day isn't going to make that much difference, and I say this as someone who lives in NYC.

I spent 6 years in NYC and I know I would have felt the same way had I still been there. I also find it galactically stupid that FV and whoever is showing sensitivity and worrying about the optics of a shooting on the show vs real life all the while running a storyline about a Black character being framed for a crime by a white character who has completely skated on everything she's ever done. But that's just me.

I live on the outskirts of NYC now, (Brooklyn Boy born and raised) and was a bit surprised at the repeat. GH airs on Channel 7 here at 3pm and they had been covering the shooting from the very beginning, I think they stopped at 2pm to show a repeat of whatever airs in that slot these days. Outside of the NYPD catching the shooter (which will probably happen in a day or two), I'm not sure what breaking news was going to happen before the 4pm local news. If that's the case, don't show the GH repeat and just stay at the crime scene for another hour or two. Baffling decision-making.

I assume that Harmony is not long for this show. Now that Nina is Willow’s mother, Harmony has no ties to any other character. The only question is, will she go to jail for Neil’s murder or will someone (the blackmailing brother?) take her out. Too bad, Harmony was kind of growing on me, and I was not opposed to the idea of a romance with Alexis. Maybe NLG would have had enough clout to keep a gay relationship front burner and out of the closet.

Sadly, I think you're right about Harmony. The writers treat her like a disposable plot point to move other characters' S/Ls forward. Shame - the character has potential and I find her and the actor intriguing. Has anyone else noticed that in terms of style, Harmony is always the most put-together woman on the canvas, with the possible exception of Sasha? Whether she's wearing jeans or a dress Harmony always looks nice.

Katherine’s acting at the school reunion was strange…..what attorney steals from their high school?  She could be prosecuted and disbarred for stuff like that. Not funny, imo.   What about the other students who’s name was on that plaque?  And what a way to announce you’re a lesbian…kissing your girlfriend?  Wouldn’t a private talk work better?  Why are their writing Katherine’s character as being so irrational?

All very good points! What if someone was passing by and decided to report the incident?  Could have gotten very, very messy. Also, it will probably cost the school several hundred dollars to replace the plaque and display case.

If Katherine is any type of decent person she should make an anonymous donation to the school to cover the cost of damages. Hey Lawyer-Lady, stealing just ain't cool. And, it's against the Law.

Katherine was quickly becoming my favorite character (even with Eddie's ongoing redemption) but now I'm not so sure.

Once again we have a main character committing a criminal act with no consequences.  So Katherine has to steal and damage school property so she can feel edgy.

That's one of the biggest problems with these entitled, self-absorbed, self-indulgent characters. Every time they get away with a stunt like that, it only emboldens them to do even worse stuff. At least Rome had a late epiphany and decided to abandon his smash-and-burn mission.

I see the chemistry. And I was even hoping that maybe they'd go there with Alexis and Harmony. Spoilers notwithstanding, I really don't know that this would be a healthy relationship.

I don’t think it would have ever been a healthy pairing but Harmony is 100% her type. Shady past, history of lying, most of the town dislikes her, etc

Sadly, you're on to something, ffwbe. Other than Jax (platonic marriage) and Ned (whom she left at the altar), Alexis has been all about the bad boys. Even Shawn and Neil have/had their issues. The main difference with Harmony is she truly appears to want to turn things around, but her past keeps popping up and getting in the way. Since there's no age-appropriate men around for either Alexis or Harmony at this point (other than maybe Robert), I'm getting a feeling that another same-sex pairing is coming our way. This one at least will be fairly interesting.

ETA: I hope that Harmony spoiler isn’t true, and that she’s moving in so poor Alexis can finally get laid again

Hope I don't get torched for saying this...and I'm definitely NOT a fanfic person...but Alexis and Harmony DO have a strange/interesting sexual chemistry between the two of them. No male fantasizing here, but I'd like to see Alexis finally in a mostly-healthy relationship that doesn't implode/explode on her.

Between Rome's old friend and Maggie's boss, this episode really continues the theme that no one outside of the inner circle should ever interact with these people ever, they will inevitably become collateral damage to their self righteous causes and personal drama.

I came here to say the same thing and literally couldn't have said it better. Maggie (Ms. Wrecking Ball) and Gary (Mr. Bull-in-a-China Shop) are the worst offenders of the bunch. If you're outside of the core circle and are dumb enough to get involved with either (or both of them) there's a 100% chance you're going to wind up getting steamrolled like a cartoon character. And even the poor kids (Danny and Sophie) end up getting torched by those two dweebs, who are clearly made for each other. Worst yet, there never seems to be any consequences for their actions. Never, ever.

Today's episode mostly sucked and Laura is kind of an idiot for trusting deputy mayor after she stressed how important it was to contain the information to very select few.

Did anyone else notice how Laura winked at Robert when he got up to intervene?  Methinks Laura may suspect her Deputy Mayor is in cahoots with Victor and will use her to spread dis-information. At least that's how I would script it.
