  1. I was waiting for this thread to be made! Kevin and Hailey paired up could have been great (since it's rare), but she's just so damn unlikeable! Kevin asks about her issue and she says, "Helping with what?" 🙄 Girl the whole squad knows. Stop acting like you can't receive help. And brushing off Atwater's question about Jo was also annoying. She's written so badly, you can't like her even if you want to. I will not be mad to see her go. Will Jo replace her?
  2. I have a lot of thoughts. No Black vs Blue! Hallelujah! Love Atwater's heart, but he should not have taken this one to heart. He really did the best he could. Honestly, this seemed like a Ruzek episode. Atwater is usually pretty comfortable in his work as an officer and detective. Loved his father diagnosing him lol. Their relationship has come a long way. Is it just me or has Ruzek/Atwater never been the same since that fight they had back in season 8? Mostly from Atwater tbh. He never lets anyone support him. I'm like when did he get so stubborn? Hate that I have to wait another five episodes for an Atwater centric. His are my fav.
  3. I was lost and confused the entire time. I was waiting soooo long for this show to return so for it to turn into the Hailey show so quickly... disappointing. Do they not realize she has ran this show into the ground? It's been years of this. ETA: This episode was so bad, none of us even mentioned the fact that Jay's real name is apparently Jason 😂
  4. I’m going off memory here but didn’t they show something was off along the way? Like when Antonio tried to take the drugs recovered from a bust and Kim offered to tag it instead, and he was mad. And I think there was another indication too. I think him being sneaky and sleeping with that detective from… Colombia (?) and then later having to kill her, also showed a lapse in judgment.
  5. I'm watching Chicago PD on Peacock since it'll be a while before the show comes back (writer's strike) and oh boy, you guys were right. This episode is absolutely awful. I can't believe it actually ended with the Chief's speech. They couldn't even clear Marcus' name, but later on, they made a big fuss about clearing the name of the cop that hunted down that innocent Black man with Atwater in the passenger seat. I'm glad I didn't watch this till now. I wish I'd never seen it.
  6. Man that sucks. Season 10 was brutal with the dragged out story arcs and weeks of reruns. Thanks for sharing.
  7. Does anyone know if the show's 11th season will be be impacted by the writing strike? I am reading different things.
  8. Wow nothing has changed in the ten seasons of this show. Sad.
  9. Nice to see so much engagement on this thread. This forum has been kind of dry lately. I pretty much echo everyone’s sentiments. One thing I will add is that it made no sense for them to move without physically having eyes on Richard. Having his phone and tracker pinging means nothing. That was amateur work from Hailey and co. otherwise, great episode. I really felt for Adam. And Kevin is just wonderful in whatever he does.
  10. That fight scene was awesome! I just refuse to believe both Adam and Kevin were okay enough to search Carlos' room. That dude kicked Adam's ass lol. It was a surprise. Kevin-centric episodes are so great. Love to see him as landlord, son and father-figure. I want to see him as husband! Let Kevin be happy.
  11. I can see something happening between Adam and Sam. They took to each other way too fast. Even Kim called him out on it. Looking forward to seeing where this goes. Oh and Kevin is just sooo cute. Not just physically but his aura. Such love and good vibes.
  12. ^ IDK about the real world, but seeing as how Shaw was reprimanded for disobeying their order, I think you're supposed to comply and sort it out later.
  13. I'm looking forward to seeing this episode. We knew there was more to this story with the Becks.
  14. I thought the show was going to do something with the team seeing Kim freak out on the train. When they were in the room with the TVs, it showed footage of Kim lying on the floor with the dead victim. Surprised they didn't have the team discover just how bad it's gotten. I know they won't bench Kim, but it'd be nice to see Voight check in about it (but they'd have to let him in on how severe her PTSD is). It shouldn't just be Adam and her deciding when to get help/not getting help. Love Kim but she really is a liability at this point. I was begging for anybody to help her when she was outside of the well shaking. I audibly said, "Where's Atwater?". She should really have her team around to support her with this. She's been through so much. Do you buy the COTW? Shooting into a crowded train because Jamie discovered their abuse was a little implausible. But it was an interesting case for sure. Happy 200th episode! Love the show but it's been a rocky season (with low ratings) and I'm not sure how much longer we will have with Intelligence. 😔 I never understood this trope in TV Land. Covered in a victim's blood and just take a shower like nothing ever happened. I'd personally never want to use my hand again but that's just me lol
  15. I disagree. I enjoyed that episode of them digging into his military past, but again, they made it all about Hailey's secret with Voight at the end. Jay was a whole person before Hailey. They sacrificed his character for her and it's a shame because he was an integral part of the show. I was looking forward to Jay taking over when Voight's style finally caught up with him. But we'll never get that. Honestly, Idk if this show makes it another season.
  16. I hate the way Velasco talks to and about Churlish. Maybe because she's a beautiful Black woman (as am I lol) but I get racist vibes from it. He's so disrespectful. I actually thought he was going to be guilty. Nice interrogation scene from Fin though.
  17. Felt so bad for Shaw in the beginning. Let's be honest though, if it was the real world, Shaw would've been shot the moment he reached and everyone on Fox would've said he shouldn't have resisted arrest. On a personal note, I am a conservative but I HATE the way conservative media talks about policing and the citizenry. I respect police but they are not always right. I thought L&O did a fantastic job of highlighting that. I loved Shaw's outrage and Cosgrove's support. ETA: That real estate guy is trash. So evil to take pictures of innocent Black men and label them as dangerous. I can't even imagine if something like this were to happen in the real world.
  18. ^ Agreed. Stuff like that took me out of the episode. Reyes sitting in a booth at a very important drop site and no one noticing/caring was another thing. Jet was annoying in that scene with the tech guy. And her arresting the genius was laughable. I wish they'd have another detective for the handsy stuff. Jet's just not too believable in that role. Was her password Seamus though? I thought that scene was cute.
  19. Surprised no replies here. What an unfair episode. No justice. Loved Stabler telling Murphy to watch his back though.
  20. I thought Jet did a good job in her role, but I got the sense she was really getting drawn to the guy. Which is unusual for her, so that was a bit of a nice change. Ayanna looked soooo pretty at the bar/casino. I couldn't stop staring at her. Loved the makeup. I agree with the Stabler thing. How he can still do undercover operations is beyond me. The villain looked familiar. Was he on another Wolf show? We just got through with a story arc, but it seems like we're in for another.
  21. I said that as well; this could easily be a two part episode. I thought it was very well done and shows what could happen after the camera is turned off. One of my favorite episodes this season. Anyone felt the super should be charged? Moving the body and waiting to call 911 didn't sit right with me.
  22. I have more to say but I’m rewatching the episode on Peacock right now and they really character assassinated Jay. I couldn’t see the Jay of past seasons doing that to someone he loved. Just a weird way to write him out.
  23. Maybe my standards are very high because it's an Atwater episode, but this one did not touch me as all his others have. The case was so clearly an afterthought. Since when do you know Intelligence to not solve a case? And to just be so okay with it? Reed mowed down dozens of people and... nothing? On that note, Voight recommending a DTO was just nonsense. What person would confess to murder/attempted murder because they were caught selling dope? I'd take the drug charge. There was really nothing tying Reed to the 3 murders. So he walks on an unregistered gun. The scenes between Kevin and his dad was great when it was shrouded in mystery. But that final scene did not move me. Idk if it was the loud swelling music (telling me what to feel) or the dad's acting. But it was a little mechanical. I didn't feel it. LaRoyce was great in showing Kev's conflicted feelings. But Kevin's response to Adam's support was weird. No one said it was just like your father, but he was trying to relate to having a bum for a dad. It was nice to see Adam and Kim be there for him though. Loved Kim and Kevin's scenes especially. It was nice to see the team mixed up a bit. Kevin and Hailey at the front of the house was cool. Torres did great in his role. It was an okay episode. Just wish this wasn't the last main episode we'd see of Atwater this season, but it probably will be. Damar (boy witness in the beginning) was adorable.
  24. Good episode. Disappointed that the writers didn't let Kim lean on Adam. She's suffering. At least Adam didn't believe her. I thought the end was going to be with Kim and Hailey having it out over the Roy thing. I doubt that moment will ever come. Looking forward to next week if it airs. I'm also liking the small attention to detail, like Torres giving his call sign as "5-0-2-1 Ocean" instead of the typical 50-21.
  25. Very good episode. Atwater episodes are always the best. But I hate that it's always depressing stuff for him. Let that man smile and be happy! I see LaRoyce is beefing up again. The way he arrested that guy at the chop shop was so hot lol... I need a man 🤪
