  1. Yes, I do, and yes it is unfair. But BB wants their twists to be used and have an impact. What they should do is hand out the care package before HoH is played. Still sucks, but not as much, especially if the care package recipient can still compete in the following HoH comp.
  2. I agree. They are going to want the co-HoH package to be used and not essentially voided. If Victor/Paul are running away in the voting, I bet they use a HoH competition they think Corey will be good at. Yeah, if they're up together it will likely be Victor going because of the votes (I think James/Natalie/Michelle would keep Paul over Victor). Only scenario I see them both staying is if Victor wins veto and Nicole/Corey are stupid enough to put up Michelle, I could see Natalie pushing for Michelle to go and James going along. Then Paul would have Natalie/James/Victor's votes and would stay. But I'll be shocked if Corey wins the care package, and I'll be shocked if Nicole wins HoH. Both aren't going to happen.
  3. Yeah, Natalie and Paul have gotten tight, they're always laughing together or having personal conversations. I don't think she would take a shot at Paul over Nicole/Corey, she hates them. I still think viewers are going to vote heavily for Paul since he convinced Victor to put up Paulie and they showed that. He also had some good humor this episode with the Cheetos and the dance, and Paul has had a better and more visible edit for the year. I'm not so sure, I think the secret service act will garner Paul more votes, it's hilarious. They did a red light alert in the middle of a veto ceremony, they must love it. And Wednesday evening is a little late to start accumulating votes. With that said, I'm voting heavily for Victor while still throwing a few to Paul. I think the viewers are going to give Paul the most votes regardless of who we vote for, but if Paul were to win regular HoH, we need Victor to have the 2nd most votes so he gets co-HoH over Corey. Although a split HoH would make for more entertainment and conflict, I'm just ready to see Nicole/Corey go (or Paulie again if he comes back in). I hope the person voted co-HoH will be able to play next week's HoH comp, otherwise it's almost a punishment for Victor.
  4. Okay, so it seems like there was a competition that involved throwing something like a baseball. Corey was supposedly a big time college baseball player, so you'd think production would have expected him to win in a runaway. Maybe production wanted Corey to win and get an "advantage" so James/Paul/Natalie would consider voting out Corey instead of Paulie? I don't know.
  5. It's not exactly clear because they keep cutting to fish. It seems awfully suspicious that they didn't tell us about or even announce this competition until Paulie was in danger. It's always suspicious when production does something spontaneous. After Paulie has refused his punishment, ignored production, claims he'll leave jury house, and threatened physical violence against other houseguests, if they have done something to save him I'm off this show forever. If the advantage won't be good until next week, why do the comp when Paulie is there? Or does production know he has the round ticket so he'll be in the house next week? Maybe the HG's will think about that and switch the target to Corey, or maybe that's exactly what production wants them to do so Paulie will stay. Arghh. Maybe whoever has the advantage gets to pick a returning houseguest, and if so I wouldn't be surprised if Paulie has it and is allowed to pick himself after he's evicted. Ugh, this sucks. Announce this kind of thing ahead of time, BB, otherwise rigging seems like a distinct possibility.
  6. Buyback is any type of competition or event that returns you to the house after eviction. Battle back is the tournament style of comps we saw Victor win earlier in the season. A battle back is a type of buyback, and having the return trip envelope is also a type of buyback. At least, that's my understanding.
  7. It seems a little fishy to me. I'm hoping this means they were fully intending on having a jury buyback, but Paulie's behavior changed their minds. Just too big of a risk that he would come back. They could skip the 2nd DE and the dates would still work out. Or maybe Paulie has the return trip, which would suck.
  8. Victor is playing a good game, but he has flaws. 1) He's a comp beast. People are going to be targeting him very soon. Maybe he can comp out to the end, but that almost never happens. 2) He lets Paul control all his game and social moves. Paul wants to bro down with Paulie even though Paulie backdoored Victor? Victor is fine with that. Paul wants to side with Natalie/Bridge to save Michelle? Victor is on board. Paul wants to nominate Corey/Paulie? Victor is doing it. Yeah, they always talk things over, but it always comes down to what Paul wants to do, they do, and it's always Paul that initiates their moves. And we know from when Victor talks alone to the feeds he is 100% loyal to Paul and wants to go with him to the end, but I'm not sure if Paul feels the same - I haven't seen him declare one way or another when he's alone. It's amazing to think how Paul's hinky vote in week 3 has had such a huge impact on the game. At the time I thought it was crazy, but it's really paid off for him.
  9. I'm probably going to split my votes between Victor and Paul, but I expect Paul to get it. Victor put up Corey/Paulie, but they clearly showed it was Paul who convinced him to do it. Corey/Paulie wouldn't have gone up if not for Paul. Victor should get a boost on Wednesday if they show him stopping Paulie cold, but I'm sure they're also going to show Paul's secret service act and it's hilarious. Casual fans love humor. Hell, so do live feeders. Is the co-HoH allowed to play the following week? If not, it's kind of a punishment for Victor if Paul wins the normal HoH outright, because then neither will be able to play the following week. If Paul wins the normal HoH but was first for the Co-HoH, will he be the only HoH or will the person in second place be co-HoH? I wish they'd clarify the rules somewhere. I think Derrick overestimates Nicole's fans. They'll vote for Nicole, but I'll be surprised if a majority even bother to vote this week. Honestly, I have my doubts about what percentage could even pick out Corey as her showmance.
  10. My impression is the opposite, that Paul is more popular with casual voters. I'm going to wait for the episode tonight and see who production gives more credit too. Maybe they'll heavily promote Paul convincing Victor to put up Paulie/Corey or maybe they'll heavily promote Victor holding his ground against Paulie. That will probably decide which gets the casual fans votes this week. I don't trust Michelle with it, so as long as it's either Victor or Paul it'll be fine. The danger, of course, is Corey somehow getting it if the votes are split between Paul and Victor. It's from this interview with Julie Chen. Tarzana, CA. Next to Beverly Hills and Santa Monica. Upper-class neighborhood. To put it in perspective, 4 bedroom houses there go for well over a million, and their house looked a lot bigger than four bedrooms to me. Paul also graduated from Pepperdine, an education that costs about $300k, and he hasn't mentioned school loans so his family probably paid for it (unless he had scholarships, I suppose). So yes, Paul's family is probably very well off.
  11. Well, with Victor winning veto it seems the drama is over for the week. I'll probably tune back in on Thursday. RK liking Cody's tweet had better not be foreshadowing. Even if he doesn't have it, he'll probably win a buyback comp. There's a decent chance next week will be a replay of this week.
  12. Victor talking to the feed watchers was kind of endearing. Here is a streamable for people that missed it.
  13. Paul and Victor have talked and they did say they want to go to F3 with Natalie. Probably because they think one of them could win the final comps against her, but Paul did defend her and say she was a competitor and helped organize the flip. If that were the F3, Victor is super loyal to Paul and I'm pretty sure he would take Paul to F2. Paul, I'm not so sure about, if Victor keeps winning comps he might take Nat to F2 - I think he wants to win. Nat I have no idea, probably whichever she thinks she can beat more easily. But this is all far down the road and the chances of them being the F3 are tiny.
  14. Veto can only save one of them, they're both on the block and they have numbers. They know about the RT, but they can't let that stop them from playing the game. Paul, Michelle, or Victor will probably win co-HoH, so that's likely to help them.
  15. Unfortunately, there is no way production will let Paulie give a speech pre-noms, it could be an all-time great moment.
  16. If it were James I would be extremely worried, but Vic doesn't seem the type to waver. Even if he did, it'd take a 5-minute conversation with Paul to turn him around again.
  17. I had been disappointed in Nicole's gameplay, but I felt embarrassed for her there...so bad. This crop of vets they decided to bring back have been duds.
  18. Co-HoH could help with that. If Michelle wins safety this week, we should vote like hell for co-HoH to go to Paul next week (Paul over Victor because he's more popular). If Corey or Paulie come back to the house Paul will put him right back up and as long as they're not taken down with veto they have the votes to get him out.
  19. AFP? Hell, Paul's got a decent shot at the grand prize. Paul is actually a very good player, but not without his flaws. Victor coming back into the house really helped him, it gave him a comp beast ally he could trust as much as one can ever trust anyone that house. I bet he's happy he threw that vote for Victor back when Victor was evicted.
  20. James is so dumb. He's already back under Paulie's spell. He implied he threw the double eviction HoH to Natalie and thinks he doesn't need the next one. Meanwhile, Paulie is talking to Nicole about how angry he is with James and how he doesn't trust him.
  21. I have my doubts, I think he's faking to play the victim and try to mend some fences with the other side of the house. Everybody is trying to cover their bases right now because HoH is unknown.
  22. That's good, but do Paul/Vic want it badly enough to not be throwing HoH? If not, their odds still aren't good. Or James will be gone, that was Paulie's stated target last I saw. Or if the no name alliance manages to win HoH, then one of Nicole/Corey/Paulie should be gone. But, again, if it's Paulie/Corey they'll likely come right back in.
  23. I wonder what happens if this week's HoH is selected for next weeks Co-HoH package. Will he or she be allowed to be HoH back to back?
  24. Paulie says his target is now James. Not sure who Nicole would target, probably whoever Paulie/Corey want out, so James, Nat, or Michelle. Nat would target Paulie. I very much doubt James would have the courage to target Paulie/Corey/Nicole, I suspect he'd target Michelle to try and get back in Paulie and Corey's good graces, but even if he does that I'm pretty sure he'd still be a Paulie target. I think Michelle has burned too many bridges, she'd have to target Paulie/Nicole/Corey. The wild cards are Paul and Victor. Paul has flat out told Paulie he wants Nicole out, so I think he'd at least nominate her and Corey and maybe backdoor Paulie if the opportunity presents itself. Not sure what Victor would do. But let's be honest, Paul and Victor are probably throwing. The problem is Paulie stands a good chance of coming right back into the house if he's evicted since he'll either have the RT or get to play in a comp buyback, so I think I'm hoping for a Nicole eviction and a Bridgette return. Of course, targets can change quickly and the safety will probably affect this, so who knows.
