  1. Was anyone else surprised by Todd just happily hanging out with Billy and. Summer? I must have missed them reconciling.
  2. This pic is from the cruise Betsy,Russ and family took after she found out the cancer had returned and was terminal. B&P size is similar. Obviously it dosen't matter as Pam is a psycho and probably completely shocked Betsy by the attack. It's more the way both Pam and the DA acted liked Pam was this delicate flower and couldn't possibly have over taken Betsy because Betsy was so much stronger than Pam.
  3. I wish more people in this case were as in tune with their instincts as the woman who got out of Pam's car. She didn't like or trust her. Becausec of her, that poor man Pam killed got some justice. It's too bad Betsy and her family were so fooled by Pam.
  4. I find it interesting that in one episode the DA tells the daughter (?) Pam wasn't strong enough to carry out the murder. And Pam herself says the same the to one of the cops,( I'm not sure if it was on the movie or on Dateline in one of Pam's interview with the cops). Pam and Betsy were not that different in size and Betsy had cancer and was going through chemo. I guess it's true, when you say something enough people believe it.
  5. I just watched The Talk and they discussed the Assault on Chris Rock way better imo. They also showed a great clip of Jim Carey saying how Spineless Hollywood is for that standing ovation.
  6. I noticed her reaction as well lol. I hate when it's award season, especially the oscars. Whoopi talks about them as if it's so complicated only a genius could understand. Remember when they talked about having viewers vote or something? She was so over the top that "we"(people in the academy)know how it works, not ordinary movie viewers. You're an actress not a scientist lady. Don't get me wrong, I do believe there are cinema genius at work everday.....Whoopi's just isn't one of them for me. I loved her in The Color Purple but her over blown ego and defense of everything Hollywood bugs the hell out of me.
  7. Absolutely. Like I told you yesterday, I'm not even such a big fan of Chris Rock but this narrative that Will was defending his wife is bananas. It was a joke a bad joke. The idea of physically assaulting someone over a joke is ridiculous. However the narrative is being spread that it was for Jada's defense. Even when you listen to Cory Booker say he doesn't endorse cruel jokes or one of the hosts (Joy?) say Jada gave him the signal umm no Will Smith is responsiblenot Chris bad joke or Jada's facial expression. CR's joke was bad ,meaning not funny and dated as hell lol. We don't know if he knew of her illness. Wasn't there an awards show a few years ago that Ricky Gervais hosted and he just roasted celeb after celeb in attendance.
  8. I don't know if he wrote it but I believe it was written to try to seem contrite. He didn't seem guilty or embarrassed while he danced the night away. I'm sure once he and his people began to see negative reaction to the assault he/they knew an apology to Chris was necessary. So yeah, Whoopi can believe whatever she wants but I'll live in reality and know Will has been around long enough he knows how to play the game.
  9. As disgusting as I find Will Smith's assault on Chris Rock, I equally find everyone in that room that gave him a standing ovation disgusting. I completely understand being shocked and not knowing how to react after it first happened, however after watching him scream at CR from his seat and realizing that he had in fact assaulted CR then giving him a standing ovation for that BS speech. Whoopi trying defend WS is typical Whoopi, and I didn't expect anything else.
  10. Lol, when Joy said Judge Jackson wanted to bitch slap Ted Cruz. I busted out laughing and thought, who doesn't?
  11. Thank you. Yes, I believe she was obsessed. They do mention the Puerto Rico trip on the show. They do also talk about the other men she had similar troubled relationships with. I do think she killed the wife. I'm not sure what she gains by trying to prove her innocence now, they seemed to have good evidence of where she bought a gun that matched the bullets. Unless I'm missing something . The husband didn't have anything to gain by killing the wife. Carolyn (killer/mistress) socialized with the couple and was around them often. The wife had also a long term affair with a co worker. Paul Solomon (husband) told Carolyn they had an open marriage idk if it's true but I might suspect something was going if my 40 something year old husband started bring a 20 something blonde around out of the blue lol. So maybe they did?
  12. It's about a male teacher's wife being murdered in 1989 trial in 1992(?). The husband was a suspect then it was revealed he was having an affair with a fellow teacher. She then become the focus of the police. She was portrayed as a stalker obsessed with him. She was convicted and is out now and is trying to prove her innocence. I think there is another part on tonight. I had never heard of this story. Which surprises me. The whole story seemed to occupy a lot space in tabloid early 90s all taking place in NYC.
  13. Hey all, I hate to be this person but I searched and searched and can't find a forum for "The Fatal Attraction Murder" It aired on oxygen Saturday night . The murderer is named Carolyn Warmus. I just wanted to see what people thought of the show. I figured I would ask you all if any of you could direct me in the right direction lol. Thank you.
  14. Idk if she used him but I find it interesting in the article I linked above Mrs Neely claimed she didnt want to be a TV chef and was ready to divorce him before the show started. Cooking TV shows don't appear out of the blue. I'm guessing it is something that has to be pursued and don't happen over night. The other thing that stood out in the article was that she appeared on a dating tv reality show hmmm. For someone that didn't want to be on TV, she somehow has managed to be on TV lol. I didnt care for Gina Neely after I saw her on The Chew and she was very rude Carla Hall for no apparent reason. I really want to make Chicken Marbella. I love the swap of dates for the prunes.
  15. I thought she looked Natasha Lyonne. I can't see how she did this alone. Moving him alone would have been so incredibly hard. And to have the 2 kids with her. She keeps whining about not having her day in court but wasn't it her choice to take the plea? What an awful woman.
  16. Lol, The Neely's show was hard to watch. They were so over the top lovey dovey. To think it was all fake. https://www.mashed.com/227816/the-real-reason-why-down-home-with-the-neelys-got-canceled/
  17. This is very true. Pam types are very good at finding Betsy types.
  18. The beneficiary thing bugs me so much. I just remembered that scene in the last episode (?) At Pam's daughter wedding reception, they were all dancing and having fun then out the blue Pam starts yammering on about the daughter didnt want Betsy's DJ package when the daughter tried to shut her up, P says well I'm paying for it and look how fun it is blahblah , all of a sudden Betsy decides not to charge her at all... Pam did it while smiling and dancing , of course she got that life insurance . Wow.
  19. I have the same question, why did Betsy do that? I guess if we are to believe how good Pam was at manipulating people, that could be the answer. In one episode they said one of the daughters had stole money from the grandmother and I believe the same daughter had a boyfriend that Russ and Betsy didn't care for. So having all that and Pam in her ear and telling Betsy that she(Pam) would better taking care of the money and to make sure that Russ and the girls didn't just run through the money. We see that Pam didn't take a no from Betsy easily. So probably just the constant "I will take of your girls". made Betsy cave, idk what an awful mistake on her part.
  20. I thought the DA said they called the Judge "cankles" but I might have miss heard. I don't think Russ rejected anyone lol. I think the DA and Cops had tunnel vision and Russ wasn't The DA's kind of person. She seemed very dismissive of his hobbies and friends and some mean girls grow up to be mean women. Small town cliques are very real.
  21. I've watched all the Dateline shows about this case so, I know how it all turns out but damn is it frustrating watching the DA and Judge,Cops all being ridiculous. I shouldn't judge others but how can everyone buy into Pam's act. Maybe I'm overly suspicious or my BS meter is set to high but I wouldn't be able to be around Pam. People who act overly familiar with me put me on edge.
  22. It's set in NYC in the 1880's(?) New money family trying to get into high society. From the creators of Downton Abbey .
  23. This is absolutely not true. I think this statement is in bad taste. I might not have agreed with Sunny today regarding Kanye but this is her opinion on this topic. To paint her with this incredibly biased brush is not fair. Sunny like everyone else on this show has different opinions about different topics.
  24. Some people wait until every episode drops before they start watching. I think they do PR to try and get new viewers to stream it. I started watching The Gilded Age just last week. I like being able to watch a couple episodes at a time or even binge a season. Like Abbott Elementary, I thought I had the watched the whole season only to find out they still have episodes coming lol. Happy surprise.
  25. I liked the episode as well. The house looks fantastic. I think its so sweet that they want to keep part of the house as a tribute to his grandma. It will be for the show and they will have their private living area, makes sense. While their little house might be perfect for their family. It is not just their home, she films a cooking show their. Giving the growing family private areas that will not interrupt or bother filming is pretty smart. I can't imagine filming and having 2 growing children in that house. They might be tiny right now but kids grow and love to run around. And, yes, they can afford it, good for them.
