It touches me how pets always seem to know when you’re hurting. Archie cuddling up to her was 😢💔. Shannon, Archie is all you need right now. He is such a sweet boy. She really has nowhere, and nobody, to turn to. I can’t think of anyone in that group I would trust, and you should have friends you can rely on when you’re going through something like that. She really can’t turn to her kids, either, because they’re kids and shouldn’t carry that burden. I bet you that Tamra wished that she had recorded that butt dial. You know she would have loved sharing it at the dinner party. If Shannon is right and Lex’s PR team was behind that…🤬. Emily is just really self-conscious about her weight right now. She lost a ton and is working out, but she can’t help comparing herself to the stick figures next to her. She probably looks at them and sees herself as still overweight. She also doesn’t see that her body structure is basically different. We’re our own worst critics at times.

And TAMRA has the nerve to pass judgment on SHANNON’S drinking? Eddie having to tell her to pace herself, and then her spilling half her martini? Eddie’s look said it all, and it was more one of disgust than concern. Probably not the first drink she’s spilled lately. She’s killing this franchise for me.

Can Tamra take any more obvious delight in Shannon’s pain? Her eyes were lit up like a Christmas tree while talking about it. Sick. She lives to feast off of other people’s misery like a vampiress. I actually felt for Terry for once, especially when he was getting henpecked off camera. That was a legitimate use of plastic surgery. I understand why he didn’t want Paul doing it…just like with real estate, you don’t want a friend doing something like this. Again with the fashion choices. Gina’s getup would look better in denim. It looks like she’s wearing armor. Tamra looked like she was wearing coffee filters.

Andy allowing her to come back sent her the message that she could be as trashy and outrageous as she wants, thinking he will always have her back. If anyone had to come back, I’d take Vicki, seeing how this season’s playing out. I saw the “coming in hot” horseshit. Let her. I’d like nothing more to see at the end of the reunion Andy telling her it was her last one. Teddi needs to butt out too. Is she a new Bravo exec or something that she thinks her opinions on anything carry weight? If it’s her podcast that’s swelled her head, well, everybody and his brother has one. Big whoop. Watching Heather on Million Dollar Listing LA. I swear, my teeth are going to be nubs from grinding them so much. Just a perfect storm of why I’ve come to really not like her. — Sick of how she walks on her tiptoes like her skirt is ten times too small. It’s like watching Carol Burnett do Mr. Tudball’s secretary. (Google it, kids.) — Heather giving Josh and Heather Altman parenting advice, because she is the World’s Biggest Authority, and can’t understand why Heather Altman is concerned that her husband’s priorities don’t seem to be his kids. She said she had to trust Terry to do some of the parenting. 🙄A man who would often joke about not paying attention to his kids. Funny how having assistants never came up. Heather Altman saw the Dubrows as a look into her future. Smart woman. — Her wanting to remake another mansion in her own image, and bitching about an LA ordinance that puts natural habitat over conspicuous consumption. Who is she always trying to impress? I am all for this LA Wildlife Ordinance. There is no need to eat up even more habitat for these 100-room mansions with their indoor car elevators and whatnot. Looks like a lot of these houses are built on hillsides. The more natural terrain you lose, the more erosion you’ll get. Not every square inch of land has to be built out. Stop seeing everything in terms of 💰💰💰💰. I tend to watch only the marathons, but it sounds to me like Heather has wanted to take a bigger role in the agency, and Josh has been generally unreceptive. She’s smart. She’s an asset and he needs to recognize that. (Her frustration was really clear last season when they went to the Vegas desert and she was cut out of a lot of the process. She vented to both her mother and Flagg’s boyfriend, who then told Josh what an ass he was being. This came as breaking news to Josh, of course.) But I think she also recognizes that they have a family, and that some priorities have to be set. The balancing act is getting unsubstainable, I think. That can strain a marriage.

Story said he also accused her of sleeping with her ex, and was extremely vetbally abusive toward him. SMH.

I believe she and the twins made a college trip to Syracuse (with Gina, WTF), but even then the visit was also about her doing some kind of sorority gig because she’s an alum, so it wasn’t exactly quality time. Heather was always more interested in the “one big happy family” trope — jawing around the dinner table with the kids and Terry, watching her kids make a mess in the kitchen, doing school projects… Kinda phony, IMO. EDIT — Just occurred to me that the purpose of the trip was the sorority gig. The kids tagged along to see the school and Gina to stroke Heather’s ego. (There was some beef going on at the time and Heather and Gina were joining forces.) So really, you’re right. The kids have been more or less props.

Heather handled that confrontation as she usually does. Gets offended that someone dares to question her, tries to turn everything back on the said questioner, and then walks away. Did she also accuse Emily of being unhinged? She does that too, but I don’t remember if that happened here. The whole thing should have been discussed privately and without alcohol. Alexis trying to make it about her also didn’t help.

Maybe I’m getting my shows mixed up, maybe thinking of BH, but was that at the backyard party where they had the waterslide and some of these rubes went topless on it? While the normal guests looked on offended? That would be something Tamra would do. These stupid drinking games…not even the worst Animal House in the world would play them. That Bravo payday must be mighty fine for these women to gladly degrade themselves…

This may seem odd, but since this episode about Emily’s weight and Heather’s response, I’ve been reminded of the old series “America’s Next Top Model,” which Pluto TV shows only about three seasons of on endless loop. There is one season where they have a “plus-size” model, and Tyra Banks pats herself on the back for being “inclusive.” Trouble is, both subliminally and otherwise, this woman would always be reminded of her weight, the most humiliating being a “go-see” where none of the designer’s clothes fit her. She would also negatively compare herself to other contestants. Eventually she gaslit herself out of the competition (she made it to the top five, IIRC) because of the insecurity. A physically bigger person is always going to be more self-conscious around thinner peers (been there, done that, still do at times), which made both Heather and Alexis kind of annoying to me. Alexis had no call to pipe up. Emily looked good in that outfit — professional, which suits her career, and should be what is showcased in a runway show. Our conception of what is a “normal” weight, or a weight we should all exercise/work/starve/Ozempic ourselves to get to can be mighty skewed. I do applaud Heather for including her, but did she have any choice? If it wasn’t part of the show, would Emily even have been considered to walk? I don’t know. Maybe I’m totally off-base with this. HW may be mindless entertainment, but this episode should make people think about and take into consideration the perspectives of others. Emily looks great. Period. No, she’s just an idiot.

What season was that? Bali? Where she didn’t make good on her threat to never be seen again, much to everyone’s great disappointment?

Something must have happened in Tamra’s childhood that she acts out this way, is all I can figure. Remember how she went on about her and Eddie’s (ahem) sex life at the dinner party, where she was goading Heather and Terry about certain (ahem) proclivities? She’s getting worse, it’s gross, and it has to stop.

If Jim accepts his kid. Not all parents do. It’s always struck me that Alexis wants nothing to do with him, and at least for that, I don’t blame her. (Jim may be afraid to meet up with Tamra, too, LOL.) But not having John there certainly missed a chance to further torment Shannon.

Yeah, I got that part..but what was her problem when she showed up? Just tired of all the drama Her Man is causing?
