  1. Whatever happened to Peter and the Folger’s coffee? I haven’t seen original Peter or incest Peter at all this year.
  2. There's some new yogurt stuff called Yacult, but that's sure not what it sounds like they are saying. eta: ooh, sorry yogurt people, it's "Yakult."
  3. Apparently millions of families are managing their digestive health with the occult! Cool!
  4. I don't think the original Stir'N Frost/Snackin Cakes required butter. I think they you just needed to add water, or am I crazy?
  5. I'm unreasonably bugged by the "Did you know -- Mom? Dad?" Gardasil kids. Just the way they say "Mom? Dad?" I said it was unreasonable. I don't know why it bugs me but it does.
  6. I just found this guy's blog and have been binge-reading all day. He does a recap of each episode, with pithy comments, screen caps, and blooper round-ups. Love! http://darkshadowseveryday.com/
  7. I just saw a Walmart ad where a young African American woman is hosting Christmas dinner for her family. She gets all the food ready, then says: "And then comes the best part. Honoring those who are racist." Well, according to closed captioning she said "honoring those who raised us," but that's sure not what it sounded like!
  8. I vaguely remember her from an America's Next Top Model season. She was super-religious and pissed off Tyra because she wouldn't get naked.
  9. It's not the touching, but the underlying vibe between the actors. There are a couple of episodes of the Brady Bunch where you can tell that Barry Williams and Maureen McCormick have the hots for each other - very NOT brother/sisterly.
  10. Has anyone seen "Peter" or "Incest Peter" yet?
  11. I never realized before his interview this morning how HUGE Marco Rubio's ears are.
  12. Way back when, there was an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation where Counselor Troi somehow randomly gets pregnant and has the baby like, the next day. She had it in this cool looking birthing chair, and I thought wow: how come we don't do that in real life? Let gravity help get the baby out? Seems like a no-brainer...
  13. Look for a grocery store with a bulk food section and get your herbs and spices there. You can get as much or as little as you need at a time, and it's SO much cheaper than buying the bottles in the spice aisle. I use them to refill my spice jars, but I also have a zillion little plastic baggies with random herbs in them in my cupboard leftover from various recipes.
