  1. Everyone has the right to appeal to the Supreme Court. So if they want to, more power to them.  However, what makes them think the court will take them up on it? I can’t see anything controversial about his conviction.  I also don’t think the court sees the need to intervene in his favor.  His civil rights don’t appear to have been violated.

I don’t think Russell killed their dad. He could be reaching out to Colter now just to tell him their mother did.

I personally think his dad fell.   Russell just happened to be standing at the top of the hill when Colter looked up.   I assume Russell ran away at that point.    He’s probably calling because he’s actually gotten therapy due to his upbringing and is really to deal with things.  Colter needs therapy and his Mom needs to disappear into the sunset.

No, he keeps his job despite the fact that he shouldn't have been allowed near this case, given his personal involvement. Not only is he involved, but he takes over the scene, overrules everyone else and eventually satisfied his need for vengeance by shooting his old nemesis in the back.

I agree that scripted  TV shows seem to always  allow personally involved agents and officers to rush in. They never seem to be reprimanded.  However, the scene showed that he was justified in shooting the guy because he was in the process of firing at the now unarmed teenage victim.   We know that the agents and officers had a camera feed from the interior of the building.   It would be ruled a justified use of force.  Also always happens on a scripted tv shows.

And yet, Jubal keeps his job.

Well yes.  They had a confession and it fit with the evidence.  People are considered dead in that instance even if they can’t locate the body.  Jubal and the other agents can’t possibly be expected to find the bodies in a city  the size of New York.  If there are no other leads, there  are no places to look. So people move on to the next case.  There have been multiple cases in real life where people have been held just like these two girls for months, years, decades and found by chance.  So yes, it’s realistic to think that Jubal keeps his job.

  5. LL Cool J is one of the two LA cast members that I thought least likely to run toward a new series immediately.  After all, he’s still doing his other job too. Linda Hunt retired and who can blame her?
They could have just had Sam transfer here without the ‘babysit Jane’ storyline.

And why wasn't Marissa sitting at the front of the church with family (or even the second row) as she was a long-term relationship with Jace?

I found this odd too.  I thought she  was pregnant with his child?

  7. Why does she and every fundy have to describe going out to eat together as a ‘date’ or a ‘double date’?   My spouse and I haven’t dated each other since the day we got married - but we’ve gone out to eat together a zillion times or gone to the movies etc.     We’ve also met other couples for dinner/ but never once described it as a double date

Can someone please donate a thesaurus to her?  Maybe she can learn descriptive words besides pretty and neat.

  8. Whether or not an actor got to return for this episode might not have been up to them.  Pauley might have wanted to return, but might not have been invited or hired to do so.  Other projects might have conflicted in other cases.  Mark Harmon would have been the only person having total choice of if he appeared or not.   Jethro wasn’t  very sentimental- as the clip showed- he didn’t tell Ducky about his family.  He wouldn’t have come back from Alaska.
Tony was sentimental and his return felt right.  Ziva should have been with him.  Bishop would have been appropriate.  Abby would have been appropriate - but see my first paragraph in this comment. She’s probably been banned from the set.

Then why choose Frontier?  Surely the fare wasn't $500 cheaper than anyone else.  They flew from Orlando and there would've been several options.

I suspect their flight from the DR to the US was late in leaving and, being idiots, they didn't allow enough time to clear customs and get to the gate to make their connection.  And Jill blames Frontier for the whole snafu.

Oh I agree on all of this. I doubt they investigated all the flights when booking the trip.  They probably went with the discount airline and just accepted the dates and times  of travel without any thought to 1) did they actually save enough on the flights to make the cost of an extra night reasonable or 2) was the  layover long enough. This one is especially bad because people mentioned Dave has flown internationally before and should know about the return process.

That was to pay for Mark’s tuition so I don’t know if you can call that stupid. She sacrificed a higher paying job for her kid.

I will call it misguided because surely the job she had just gotten paid a lot more than the cost of Mark’s tuition.  She’d have been better off keeping it and helping Mark with the cost of tuition.   There are several state universities in Illinois  with reasonable tuition.  Becky is obviously either on a scholarship or taking out loans to attend what’s probably the same university as Mark.  As someone else said, Darlene coujd have gotten a higher paying job at the university than the lunch lady.

I’m also going to repeat what I said last week.  The credit card company is not going to eat the cost of all the stuff they bought.  They WILL file a claim against the estate. This family should already know that  from Roseanne’s death.    This storyline was horrible.   It’s not funny to watch a family scam their dementia stricken elder.

In addition, Jackie could be in serious legal trouble for standing there and allowing her mom to get on a train to who knows where.  Her mom who has been diagnosed with dementia who is in a clinical trial for it.  She didn’t suddenly become competent. It is one  thing for her mom to have boarded the train while Jackie was searching for her.  It’s another to support her doing it. She should have told the conductor she would sue the company if they let her on- that way she’d have proof she at least tried to stop her.

Finally - when did Darlene start caring about the lives of rats?

  11. Did choosing Frontier dictate the days they flew on?  If, there’s the explanation for the extra day.
If Dave got patted down twice, does that mean they entered security lines twice?   There are random checks, but there are also checks because something gets the attention of the agents.  Knowing these two, they objected to Jill being touched by a male agent, overemphasized their religious beliefs, etc.  Fanaticism of anything is going to get you noticed

  12. Isn’t this the second time they’ve opened a season with a two part episode with Hondo in Mexico separated from his team?  He’s LA SWAT not a Marshal.

  13. I actually do not think her clothing  choices on this trip are immodest( to me).  Mostly ugly, frumpy, and outdated.  This purple dress is actually cute.

However,  some  of her outfits meet the category of what SHE has repeatedly described  as immodest.   The altered shirt on the kayak and on the beach for example.  It’s something that many people would  wear kayaking or lounging on a beach. If she has decided to change her definition of modesty,  then she needs to alter her website to say so. Otherwise she’s being hypocritical.

It could have been a midnight swim. She posted at 2am her time.

Dave narrated the video.  He said it was almost midnight.   I’m not even sure that was an actual swimming pool or one of the reflective pools not meant to swim in.  There’s no lounge chairs or steps or a ramp to walk into this pool in sight in the video.

They are by themselves with no kids or chores to keep them up. Why doesn’t she take advantage of that and go to bed rather than post at 2am?!

  15. She posted the expected judgemental diatribe against alcohol and music.    They left the farewell party because there was alcohol and music ‘that did not honor God’.     I’m surprised  she continues to work for a company that hosts a party with alcohol and music if she feels obligated to leave the party. She didn’t mention any actual inappropriate behavior.

The photo of the table ‘filled with New Yorkers’ had a total of four chairs at it, with the appropriate number of drinks on the table.  So she met two New Yorkers.
Later she actually spoke with fellow Plexus attendees that were like-minded.  Her photos this week seemed to show the two of them pretty well isolated.

Sharon's story was ridiculous.  I know someone who donated a kidney to her husband, and both were practically quarantined due to risk of infections.  But sure, Sharon can go on the front line

I know someone who had a kidney transplant two years ago. She has lots of restrictions.  Including what she can eat.  For example, black tea is not permitted.  She has to be extremely careful about illnesses and infections even now.  Turned down a job transcribing medical stuff because it wasn’t remote and she could not risk being exposed to things.

Yet Sharon is off on a fire line breathing in who knows what and being in close quarters with a bunch of people who have who knows what.  Would she even have been able to take  her required immune suppressant medication currently?

I do not understand the outfits she picks.  She thinks they are stylish.  Why do fundies  think modest = frumpy and ugly?   There are plenty of clothing choices that cover everything but don’t look like they were in style decades ago - or made for a senior citizen.

  18. Darlene is supposed to be Bev’s POA.  That is part of the reason she didn’t want Jackie to reopen the lunch box.  So why is Jackie managing Bev’s money now rather than Darlene.  And Darlene is definitely not acting in Bev’s best interest.

In the real world, someone would be going to jail.

Furthermore, the credit card company is not going to just charge off the credit card balance when Bev dies.  The estate will need to pay it if there is money left.

  19. She posted videos of the room at the hotel… including the toilet.  Says it’s the nicest room they’ve ever had. There is a jacuzzi on the balcony.  They are going to get an eyeful on this trip.

It’s her own  fault for not getting any sleep. She could have entered those registrations as they were received.

Wow she wasted at least $1000 for a dumb plexus trip…

Sooo Jonathan is in charge of feeding 15 people for a few days.

We saw the empty pantry so we know Jill didn’t leave any food behind.

Jonathan?  Or Nathan?  They drove  both the bus with the sick kids and the van to Florida.  If only Samuel and Renee are the only drivers and neither drives the bus, then aren’t they all stuck in Florida? Did Jonathan and Kaylee go to Florida with them?

Does anyone know how long the time frame actually was, from the time the sinkhole happened to getting back home?  A month, a year? Couldn’t tell, couldn’t keep track.

They were there at least several months. Veronica and Lucas weren’t together until later and now she’s pregnant

However they could have returned to 2021 just a few days after the sinkhole happened ( but after Gavin and Izzy made their way into the sinkhole and Levi wrecked his rescue plane).

So they’ve all returned after being thought dead.  Is the government agency that investigated  the Manifest passengers going to swoop in once the rumors about 10,000BC and time travel start?

  22. Eve went to 1965 via James random portal generator. We are to assume she  spent sone time there free and that’s when she wrote the letters. Then we are to assume that Maya saw her, recognized her  somehow and then kidnapped her.

When Levi returned to 10,000BC, he had a tattoo- which I think was the symbol of Maya’s military unit.

It was a definite plot hole that Scott, Ty, Gavin and Sam had no memories of their 2021 pre-sinkhole interaction.

There was no explanation as to how there could be two 2021 pre sinkhole Tys, and both have  cell phones, yet this Ty’s phone was the one that rang when Scott called him to tell him about the message from Gavin - which magically got excavated at just the right time .

I think they wanted to keep the fact that there was such an extensive breach of information limited to only the two agencies minimizing the risk. That said, surely there’s a US Marshals office in LA?

Well we know there’s an NCIS office in LA.   Would have been a more accurate use of Sam’s time than his supposed mentor skills.

The NCIS LA  writers need to tell these writers how to write Sam Hanna.  The only time his true character came through was action oriented  in the hacker’s location.
