  1. I watched it on PVR and ff'd through the time from Chim telling Bobby and Athena that Maddy is pregnant, to crazy lady slashing Maddie's throat. I was 100% sure that was going to be a dream/fantasy sequence, because seriously? The only part of any of that nonsense that touched me was Chimney's fear/guilt/heartbreak when he realized she was gone, and Jee had been left alone. How could he not have PTSD from all that? I liked Hen's support and telling him she was with family (at the hospital). Farewell Eddie, I will not miss you. Christopher though... :(
  2. When I read this the other day, I was all 'meh' about it, but omg after last night I am all aboard this train. The commentary from the floor was SO annoying. I hope they get a lot of feedback on it and cut that shiz out. I was side-eyeing them taking 'Dinosaur' for the first one (A T-Rex?) but requiring Triceratops for the second one in the category. Maybe they would've taken either answer for either one? Hmmm. I don't get why nobody is going after anatomy. I get that she has the time boost, but come on - there are only so many body parts, and it's a game show, how detailed are they going to get? ETA: I see @iMonrey and I were on the same page re the dinosaurs. I was typing while you were posting :)
  3. Seems like a cutesy (or not) way to get Buck and Eddie living together when he comes back to L.A. with no place to live. (But there was only one bed!!!!). This really has become just another nighttime soap. Can we PLEASE get back to being a 911 show? I guess they were trying to frame Maddie convincing the kidnapper to kill himself as it being a 'him or her' thing - either he was going to die or his victim was. Considering he'd already faked/spoofed his location once, there was no reason to believe that SuperCop!! (aka Athena) was going to make it there in time to intervene. It was still uber-cringey and a poor writing choice, for me anyway. So did Abigail Spencer get to the scene and stage the suicide? If so, why? Was it her on the phone all along (thus the voice distortion software) and she lured him to this scene to cover her tracks? Why target Maddie?
  4. I enjoyed Matt and I'm happy he won, though it would have been equally nice if my Canadian girl had triumphed. I haven't been a consistent watcher in quite a few years, possibly the time of Ken's original run. Is Matt the one who annoyed a lot of people by using 'what' all the time, instead of 'who' (when appropriate)? I don't recall another player who appeared as unflappable as Roger. He never seemed to rush an answer, even scaring me by how long he was taking to finish the response at times.
  5. I enjoyed this, and I hope they have another season. It's a good place to recharge my ego when OG beats me up too badly. If anyone did watch the finale, is Zach, of The Personality Hires, Wil Wheaton's long lost twin?
  6. Well yes, but that was self-defense, whether or not they were just following orders. Killing her after they were down and she was defenseless would have been a different thing.
  7. Did Ken make a flub after Raymond's FJ wager was revealed? I thought he said 'just enough' right before the total revealed that Juveria had won.
  8. Unless I'm misremembering, she was shot in the chest by Jane, while Xavier had the gun to her forehead. Jane then told Sinatra she did it because X was going to 'blow her head off' and she was no good to (her) dead. I'm glad that X didn't kill her in cold blood, though I don't know if he would've pulled the trigger had Jane not shown up when she did. Regardless, Sinatra was never going to help X, and he knew it. She'd already signalled her henchmen to kill him.
  9. I didn't think anyone could make me hate Gerald McCraney, but here we are. That flashback to him stomping on his son's heart just gutted me. I don't know if we were supposed to feel sympathy or understanding for Sinatra, but I was only sorry crazy(er) lady didn't shoot her in the head. I haven't felt this jazzed for season one of a show since, probably not coincidentally, the first season of This is Us. I'm the viewer that watches 90% of my shows while doing something else. This kept me glued to the screen the whole time. I also may have a bit of a crush on Cal Bradford.
  10. I'll take it! :D
  11. The way I was chanting, "Shoot her, shoot her, JUST **&^*$#& SHOOT HER!!!" at my tv. I'm not proud. But damn, I hope he just decided to kill her with his bare hands instead.
  12. It was kind of looking like Matt was going to get spanked, but the DDs went his way and it seemed to take the wind out of Luigi's sails. Guess which question I got instantly? *looks to the left* 😄
  13. That's closer than 'Cardassian Guy!' :D
  14. I thought the twist of letting people volunteer to be randomized was interesting. I feel like if the majority of players keep returning to the floor after one round, they will eventually change it to everyone being up for randomizing, every round. Star Trek was pretty easy for me, except for having to name the Cardassian. Yikes, not in a million years. Three seconds is a hefty enough penalty, but wasting 5-10 seconds and THEN passing is worse. Just pass and hope the next stumper goes to your opponent.
  15. The second-hand-angst was real, especially on Yvette's, when she is the one who 'stole' the clue after Ana's bungle.
  16. I felt this in my soul. *Except for the Great Lakes question - I live between them.
  17. And the 'expert' was a retire FBI surveillance specialist (or something along those lines). This had to be an assigned category - he basically knew nothing. Unless he thought it would be the Super Sekrit Spy-Cam 5000 or something.
  18. Considering some of the answers they take, it was kind of garbage that they didn't accept "Hammer" for "Sledge Hammer".
  19. The only category I got 100% on was Punctuation. I would have had 100% on Pets but spelling counts, lol.
  20. Sporcle is annoying with the crapton of ads they have, but I enjoy the games anyway. I didn't realize they have a whole sub-category for The Floor. So far they have 27 categories. It's a lot more challenging coming up with answers when you're under the pressure of the timer. You aren't playing against anyone but it's still fun to see how many you get. Starts here, and then if you scroll down there's a playlist.
  21. Oh noooo! Are you talking about The 1% Club? If so, nooooooo!!! I was truly puzzled with the 'correct' answer. I've never known it as anything but a Muskoka chair. (Yes, I'm Canadian.)
  22. I get this false sense of superiority watching CJ and Pop Culture Jeopardy, and then I watch the OG and am rudely awakened. LOL! I only got about ten answers the whole show. Not even a guess for FJ. Good for Isaac! I'd like to see Adrianna make a comeback though.
  23. Mea culpa, I really should have looked for this. Thank you!
  24. I recently started watching Jeopardy on a regular basis again this season, after getting into Pop Culture Jeopardy on Prime. It's been fun reading through the thread. I get the abbreviations of J, DJ, DD and FJ. But please, what is TS? Drew G was like a super-smart living Ken doll. :) I wish he'd gone the distance.
