  1. Regarding charity. The charities don't care one bit why someone is donating, only that they are. If they don't care, why should we?
  2. ;). Love you Watnutnutqueen. Happy day after XMAS. It's finally over!!
  3. Psst Walnutqueen, Bite me! Lol Honey (Who lives in the Adirondacks)
  4. I wish they were. When you click on the You Tube video, it says click below to watch episode. When you do that, it takes you to a site where you have to sign up and provide a CC#. There has to be somewhere to watch it. Frustrated. ETA: I see last weeks episode on You Tube for free. Maybe it takes a while for the new ones to be put up.
  5. I missed the first 10 minutes of Zoey's Birthday Party. Does anyone know where I can watch it online for FREE? I tried TLC and I don't see it there. I don't want to wait until next Tuesday to watch the rerun.
  6. Actually, there are almost no odors from a composting toilet. Eta: In fact, they actually smell less than a regular toilet. There is a fan that constantly pulls the air to the outside.
  7. But that wasn't her first lesson, and Jen said that other times she enjoys it. She wasn't in any danger in the pool.
  8. He would be very sick and in pain if he had megacolon.
  9. I loved it too. It was Will's Grandma (in the song) who got him a doll. Here are the lyrics from that part..... So William's grandma, as I've been told Bought William a doll, to hug and hold And William's father began to frown But grandma smiled, and calmed him down Explaining, William wants a doll So when he has a baby someday He'll know how to dress it, put diapers on double And gently caress it to bring up a bubble And care for his baby as every good father Should learn to do William has a doll, William has a doll 'Cause someday he is gonna be a father, too
  10. The only time I can recall Jen disciplining either child was when they first got Will, and they were painting. Will attempted to hit Jen, and she put him in time out. But still she sat next to him, talking to him, until time out was over. That isn't how time out is done. The child should be completely ignored until it's over. Will is at a very critical age for discipline, in fact, it's actually a bit late. He should be corrected each and every time he acts out, no matter if it's the first day of school or not. And it should be both parents working together, using the same rules and punishments. IMO
  11. It was so cute that Will was calling Bill "Beel" instead of Daddy. Beel Beel Beel.
  12. I am impatiently waiting for post #3, since I agree with absolutely everything you've said so far.
  13. Especially for a little person. Those seats are nearly as big as they are.
  14. I just watched the episode of the couple where she moves from Melbourne to his hometown in Manciano Italy. I could not stand her. She was so bitchy that I felt bad for him. When the designer broke it to them that the concrete wasn't dry, and they had to wait another 15 days to lay the floor, the look on his face said that he knew he was about to catch holy hell from her. Poor guy, and boy was he cute, and sweet. She did seem to mellow out a little after the wedding though. Perhaps it was just pre-wedding jitters. What a gorgeous area though, with beautiful centuries old buildings, and tiny cobblestone streets. And how cool to live in a place with a Travertine mine in the same town? In the end, I wasn't that impressed with the kitchen part of the reno. The sink was just eh IMO, with a normal SS sink and basic faucet. The terrace for awesome however.
  15. Or, the Roloff's who took the chance to belittle each other behind the other's back, whenever they had the chance.
  16. It was an Adrian Leeds episode. Adrian certainly has style, I love her clothes and her berets.
  17. I keep getting this hysterical image of Jill in my head. It's years from now, and Jill is sitting on the couch in a dirty bathrobe with the TV on, a cig in one hand, and a beer in the other, and stacked around the room are a bunch of unopened QVC boxes. Hee.
  18. Where I work vacations roll over to the following year. I currently have 12 weeks of vacation accrued (I haven't taken time off in a long time). After making special arrangements with my boss, I will be taking off all of July and August next Summer, in order to use up 9 weeks of it. I just read on Glassdoor that Walmart employees receive the following vacation: 1-6 years- 2 weeks 7-15 years- 3 weeks 15+ years- 4 weeks That applies to full-time employees only. Part-time workers receive 1 week of paid vacation after 2 years. Eta: Sorry Rhondinella I was composing my post at the same time you posted. If I've broken any rules, please feel free to delete it.
  19. I agree. That instructor is very patient I agree. That instructor is very patient, and not too bad to look at either.
  20. I agree. That instructor is very patient
  21. I liked that too. I also like how the instructor throws Will up in the air. It replicates how it would feel to accidently fall in, so Will wouldn't panic since he's used to it.
  22. That picture!! I can't tell if that's an ass or a face.
  23. No, I didn't mean they were necessarily too young to understand that cars are dangerous. Even older kids can be so "in the moment" that they take off running without thinking (a ball goes in the road, their dog runs across the street). There are certain situations when your kids need to listen to you, and respond immediately.
  24. The problem is, if your children dismiss what you say, and don't listen to you, what will happen if they are about to run in front of a car and you yell "STOP!!!"....they keep running.
  25. Sqeeee!! Absolutely adorable.
