  1. While I would agree about her storyline being wrapped up, it wouldn't hurt to at least have her and Roscoe appear on occasion. Hell, when the time comes for the finale, I would like to see them return.
  2. The woman who played the mother of that one girl looks really familiar. What was the actress's name? I know I have seen her somewhere, but I am having a hard pinpointing where. As for other stuff, I felt bad for Daniel, but I would like to see something between him and Jenny. I'm starting to kind of get into this show.
  3. Am I the only one here who doesn't mind the Patty character? I was actually a bit surprised to see her back so soon, but I didn't mind it. Plus, I don't know much about Kate Micucci's role on The Big Bang Theory (Watched it at times, but never really got into it), but I did like her in some episodes of Raising Hope. I wouldn't mind her as a recurring character, but not to the point where she'll be promoted to regular. But then again, I hope she isn't another Jodi. Not that I think it will go there with her, but you catch my drift. As for anything else, I did like the caroling sequences, and the gingerbread house scene. I thought that the house Tammy built looked great. Probably one of the greatest gingerbread houses I have ever seen. Back to the caroling sequence, I was touched a bit by the part with the family coming out, especially the son with his wife and child. Then you had the part with Bonnie being emotional. I am really liking how they are having this character grow a bit.
  4. What's funny was that sometime after I got into this show (Which was earlier this year), I realized that Marjorie was played by the same woman who played Abby on Dharma and Greg. I didn't realize that until I took a closer look at her.
  5. It was great to see an episode centered on Tammy. There haven't been a lot of them, either. I will admit that at the beginning, I thought it was a repeat of the last Christmas episode because of Anna Maria Horsford's appearance (She was the parole officer; I'll always remember her from Friday and How High).
  6. Okay, you made a good point. She's not quite close to Alan Harper levels.
  7. I agree with you on this. It seems that for the past few seasons, Christy has been given the "butt monkey" status. I really hope that she doesn't stay like this.
  8. I had a feeling that there was going to be a scene involving the son of the person whose car Christy hit. I figured "Okay, he's a handsome guy, so I guess maybe he'll want to have coffee or something like that." But then you-know-what happens and that whole thing was scrapped altogether. I also thought the father was funny, but then again, I have always respected Keone Young as an actor, who is also a funny guy at times. I remember thinking he did well in the Crank movies, even with such little screen time. As for the other plot, I liked the revelation/twist that Trevor's home life wasn't all that great. It almost seemed like the wrap-up bit with Trevor punching the bag had more than met the eye than what we thought. So it's good that we got a little backstory from that character.
  9. What I have always admired about this series is that while it gets a lot of laughs out of me, there is always room for serious moments. Even some of those serious moments really hit me at times. This was one of those moments. I have never doubted Jaime Pressly as an actress. Sure, back in the 1990s (even into the early 2000s), she may have had roles as a sexpot, white trash girl, or even sometimes a role in that Mortal Kombat Conquest series (Remember that show?). Not to say that she was typecast, because she had other roles that weren't like what I had mentioned. Even Joy on My Name is Earl had some depth to her than what was seen on the surface at first. Anyway, back to the topic at hand. That scene showed some great acting ability from her. She really put a lot of emotion into that scene, as well as the scene when she talked to Bonnie. I really liked how she did in this episode. As for anything else, I did find myself laughing so hard during that scene with Adam and Andy being drunk. I also liked the B-plot and this is probably the first time we had seen Marjorie have a story going on in the show for a while, rather than be the voice-of-reason (She had a story of her own last season). Sure, the B-plot, at first, was about Tammy wanting to move out, but then there was another factor in that story. Personally, this may have been my favorite episode of season 7 thus far. That's just me, though.
  10. I don't know about all of you, but I was busting up at the wrap-up bit. While I liked the bit with Christy and Veronica sparring in the ring and Christy venting out her frustrations on her boss, the therapist venting his frustrations stole that entire sequence.
  11. Finally we got something with Wendy. I mean there was the Christmas episode from last episode when we started getting some insight into her family. The same could be said about the episode of when Christy was really ill (Not the one when she acted like a child) and was sent to the emergency room. I hope we get more development and insight into Wendy. It's great that the writers even saw that there was mystery surrounding her. As for the other plots, I chuckled at the bits with Tammy and Marjorie. It was a bit over-the-top but I think was the point.
  12. Now that you mention it, wasn't she working at Adam's bar part-time as well?
  13. No, it's not holiday-themed. The only episodes that I think were holiday-themed was the one when Octavia Spencer's character decided that she wasn't an alcoholic. It was her last appearance, too. And then there was the Christmas episode from last season when Tammy was trying to maintain a job. Also, I checked out listings for when Nick @ Nite shows the repeats and it seems that season 6 will be shown then as well and saw that it skipped this episode as well. It seems that some channels that air it on syndication don't really want to show it because it was a little mean-spirited. I mean, yes, I don't need to get into Violet's perspective because the part about her not wanting to have contact with her mother is respectable, but the fact that she airs their dirty laundry on a podcast while humiliating and dumping on her mother, it makes her seem less sympathetic. Also, when FXX and Paramount showed season 6 episodes, I noticed that it went from episode 7 to episode 9. Like I said, they skipped the episode.
  14. Was a little disappointed because I was kind of hoping for a little 3rd Rock reunion with Rudy interacting with Tammy, but I don't think we've seen the last of him yet. I did enjoy the episode, though.
  15. Well, I must note this. It seems that when Season 6 episodes had started to be shown on syndication, like on Paramount Network or FXX, it seems that this episode was skipped. I only watched it once when I was catching up on Season 6 on CBS All Access. I wasn't a big fan of it. I don't need to get into it because I had agreed with some users on here. But I wanted to note that this episode hasn't been shown on syndication yet when season 6 episodes are shown.
