  1. I am sure she thinks she did but if the bad guys are going after people she cares about then it is logical Tony would be included in that group. If he is and they saw he had a daughter it wouldn't take much to put 2 and 2 together
  2. There is that too. I mean if Ziva is a target shouldn't he have a head's up that he and his daughter could possible be one as well?
  3. Ziva remains insufferable as ever. I get she had a horrible father but she is not Gibbs' daughter and since she was the one playing dead to protect people she had no right to be angry that people didn't search for her. Beyond that the Mary Sue writing for Ziva continues to grate. Of course she was about to rescue Gibbs and McGee without little to no help from anyone else and of course she beat up anyone and everyone and of course they all follow her orders. Finally it seems she isn't going to let Tony know she is alive just yet. Way to force several other people who care a lot about him to lie (by omission) to him. If and when he finds out Ziva is alive and finds out everyone on his former team knew before he did and didn't bother to tell him I cannot imagine how betrayed he will feel.
  4. Ohmo, I stopped watching the show after Tony left. Only tuned in tonight to see if there was an update on his character. And yes I knew full well that the Mary Sue writing would pick right back up for Ziva. Agree that at least they had her taking medication for at least one of her myriad of issues although I never thought anxiety was one of her issues.
  5. Katy M, yes that line from McGee annoyed me to no end. Mainly because it encapsulates all that was wrong with the writing for Ziva the first time around (well at least since season 6). She got a pass for so many things and way too much deference. Starting with the fact that she covered up for a boyfriend who killed an ICE agent. Going to she accused a fellow team member of murder in an official report. Skipping to season 10 when her revenge mission put the entire team in legal jeopardy (I was actually on Parsons side during that whole thing) and ending with her keeping Tony's child from him. Hell they even had Tony say she was probably right not to tell him about Tali. McGee saying when Ziva says do something you do it is continuing right where NCIS left off with her character. Too bad Vance gave in. As for crossing the line Ziva and Gibbs for sure have many times (which again is why I was on Parsons side). McGee didn't much and neither did Tony. Bishop has some but not as much. Torres implies he has
  6. Ziva is as insufferable as ever. Guilting Gibbs because he didn't come look for her? She played dead and for 2.5 years before that she kept Tony's child from him. Given that she should take a long hard look at herself before guilting anyone.
  7. Show was an unfunny hot mess but kudos to the costume people pulling together the royal wedding outfits in just under 12 hours. Impressive.
  8. Something odd is going on with this show. Just like Tony barely had any scenes with Gibbs Michael's final year, Abby barely had scenes with Gibbs in Pauly's final year. On top of that both of their last scenes with Gibbs were total let downs. Tony's because he and Gibbs barely said two words to each other (and I still think it is possible they weren't even in the scene together given the filming angles) and Abby because there wasn't even a final scene.
  9. Like I said on one hand I get why people link them but on the other it bothers me because, putting myself in Cory's family's shoes, I know I wouldn't want my loved one grouped with a pedophiliac. Despite his issues that killed him and yes hurt the people around him there is no evidence that he ever aided and abetted the exploitation of children as young as 3.
  10. Here is a good summary Rolling Stone It completely skeeves me out to think that more than likely between breaks in filming Glee he was going back to his trailer and watching children as young 3 being sexually abused.
  11. I was never a huge Puck fan to begin with (partly because of Mark's limited acting and partly because Mark always came across as a bit skeezy to me). Because of that I fast forward through most of his scenes in rewatches except oddly "The Quarterback" where his song was the one that most got to me. As I plan on never watching that episode again (I have seen it twice and twice is enough) there is only song that I absolutely love that I will now fast forward through in rewatches - "Glory Days."
  12. I agree with this. I am also bothered by the linking Cory's and Mark's deaths. See Paris Barclay's Tweet and Matthew Morrison's Instagram. On one hand I get why people link them. On the other it seems disrespectful to Cory's family and loved ones to compare him to Mark or to group him with Mark. Cory was an addict and of course that is not something to be celebrated nor admired but it also isn't something akin to pedophilia. From all accounts Cory was a good person despite his personal demons. Meanwhile Mark's Salling's pedophilia means he was a bad person. Full stop.
  13. Saw a tweet from Lea Michele and it reminded me that Laura Dreyfuss (Madison, season 6) is one of the leads in "Dear Evan Hansen" which recently made the jump to Broadway. It received great off Broadway reviews. Also Samantha Ware (Jane, season 6) is playing Peggy Schulyer/Maria Reynolnds in the Chicago production of "Hamilton." Congratulations to them both.
  14. I feel just the opposite. I feel like Bull and his team come across as having an easy camaraderie. Their dynamic is built mutual respect (instead of that whole we are family conceit that NCIS beat to death) but it still comes across as warm to me. Probably because the jibbing of each other has not once seem mean-spirited. He picked the attorney. Threw the opposing attorney off by tricking her into thinking they were going to have a whole slate of experts and came up with the plan to get the plaintiff and the respondent in a room together to hash it out so the case wouldn't end up with a hung jury. I loved that they addressed the bizarre wrinkle in our legal system where one quarter of all US patent cases are heard in a district court based in Marshall, TX (which Callisto was clearly a stand in for even though it was in west Texas and Marshall is in east Texas). That weirdness has fascinated me since I read about it a few years back. For anyone interested here are a couple of articles about it Texas Monthly patent article Vice: The Small Town Judge Who Sees a Quarter of the Nation's Patent Cases
  15. The tortured backstory would have been more tolerable to me if Gibbs didn't let Quinn use that as an excuse to be derelict in her job. It just gave me annoying flashbacks to the way he treated Ziva and even Kate with kid gloves at times. As for Torres I don't mind his fish out of water story because he is and it has to be a big change. The difference there, though, is that Gibbs is checking his attitude.
