  1. I thought they wore the same thing for editing purposes and filming on the same day.
  2. Agree. Nobody had a "wow" powder room. Disappointing. The corbels for M&A looked out of place. I also didn't like how everyone used all beige and white furniture and accented it with the same color. It was blah. N&J are clearly out of their comfort zone. Every piece they keep buying is something ancient, something imported from God knows where. Sorry I wasn't impressed. The doors were nice but the checkered floor gave me flashbacks of Grandma's. I also do not like stone fireplaces, like D&T and B&M. Well there is always next week.
  3. I have hanging cabinets above and behind the toilet that hold all my toiletries and misc. My sink is also a cabinet and drawers so I never had open shelves in a bathroom but I would think steam from shower would make them and whatever you have on them dirty. You might have to wipe them down frequently.
  4. N&J definitely design for themselves. The black and white floor did nothing for me except remind me of a 50's diner and flashbacks of my Grandmother's kitchen. The expensive fireplace looked like it was all show and wasn't a working fireplace. That is a waste. The powder room sink was way too small and deep. I just want to wash my hands. Totally impractical. They also had no side tables in their living space. and M&A used logs. Boo for both of them. They all used white and tan furniture with pillows and throws the same color. Boring. M&A had zero storage. Should have been some by fireplace. I wasn't blown away by any of the living spaces. I just expected more.
  5. I am not big on the black and white marble floor of N&J and there shelving in the kitchen was a no go for me. It was shelving that sat on counters. To tell you the truth none of the living spaces blew me away tonight at all.
  6. It was overload with horrible peacock wall paper.
  7. Couldn't agree more. Tarek , what are you thinking? The most functional kitchen was Brian and Mika's. It also left it so you could accent with any color you wanted.
  8. Same. I am not big on a whole open concept. I like some kind of wall division. I live in a craftsman house and the entrances were widened but there are still some wall to define the spaces and I like it that way.
  9. Brian and Mika's kitchen seemed the most functional for an average family. I hated the brick monstrosity. It looked like a pizza oven and very dated.
  10. Their shelving was bad. It also was shelves that sat on the counters so you couldn't really use that space either and the gold and glass looked cheap to me.
  11. Every week, he is one of the competitors on the team with Tiffany.
  12. Me neither. Looked like an old fashion pizza oven that belonged in a pizza shop and very dated. It was my least favorite kitchen.
  13. The sub division they lived in before was all built by the same contractor, Taylor Morrison. They are being sued by many families because of their HVAC systems. Apparently there was a flaw and many of the houses developed mold. It seems to be a reoccurring problem and the mold returns even after they say they "fixed" it. They now live in Whispering Lakes near Ashley.
  14. I turned it off. I found it boring and scripted. The girls did funny thing when little. Now, not much at all. It was also too annoying that they complained about the kitchen remodel constantly, that they chose to do, in the middle of a pandemic. Just shutup.
  15. No commercial sets me off more than the Snyder of Hanover commercials where they are chewing and crunching loudly. I have to hit mute or leave the room. I see the commercial constantly with the girl crunching loudly on the couch and the boyfriend gets up. I won't buy their product because of these commercials. That is how bad it bothers me. Why would I want to listen to someone chew loudly?
  16. Squirrel Hill is a beautiful neighborhood and wealthy. The houses are so unique and the streets are all tree lined. That is where the synagogue shooting was in 2018.
  17. Not me. I think she looks like a giant bug with those eyes. I think she is odd looking and her personality sucks.
  18. Just like the house story. They had already bought the new house yet pretended that they were still waiting for the other to be fixed with the mold problem, when they knew they were never going back. I have lost total interest in them. Adam is plain annoying and it is so scripted with everything they do now. There is nothing really entertaining about the girls anymore.
  19. Just like the house story. They had already bought the new house yet pretended that they were still waiting for the other to be fixed with the mold problem, when they knew they were never going back.
  20. You are so right about the manufactured drama on some of the others. It is getting to the point on some that the design is an after thought. And true these 2 are likable. I just don't like her decor choices and the barren look.
  21. I know some of these old Victorian houses she has done. I do not like her style at all. She paints everything white and puts 2 pieces of furniture in a room. There is nothing homey about them. They are cold and museum like.
  22. In the pilot she said she taught for 13 years in the Albertsville city school district. SMH.
  23. I like the show because I do like older houses with big front porches and not complete open concept. I like some of the wall left, just with a larger entrance way. Now I don't always like Erin's decor ideas( some of her wallpaper's) but the show isn't cookie cutter like some of the others where they all look the same. She introduces color and I do like sage and navy and Ben does make some beautiful furniture pieces. The prices of the houses are also recognizable to me. I just SMH when other shows are buying fixer uppers for 500k and that doesn't include the rehab budget. It is insane. It will be good to see some new episodes.
  24. I don't always like everything they do but I do like them. Glad to hear the show is returning. They are very natural together.
  25. They made up for it with that scene from the couch, when all of them were jumping all over the place. I was waiting for one of them to miss the couch and crack their head on the floor.
