I’ve seen this said on another forum and I have to agree but this show is more of a parody of life in starfleet set within the Star Trek universe as opposed to this show being about events “actually” taking place in the Star Trek universe. There are too many meta references that take me out of the “reality” of the show. Like when Mariner said in the third episode, “What is this, Kirk in the 2260’s?” There are too many little quips like that. We get it, the guy who created this show is a Trek fan.

This has been the only episode that I haven’t been able to finish. I hated her on Catfish and I hated her even more on here. I’d love to see her lifeless body rolled off the deck of a ship in the middle of the ocean. Let her fat carcass feed some seagulls so something good can come from her waste of a life.

I think it's just because she's been on a couple of TV shows. There have been other alumni who have been just as successful in other ways related to dancing and performing that could mentor. Plus some of them were there longer than two years. "Showmanship mentor" just sounds like a bullshit title. They could get someone else just as qualified.

I hate the way she talks. Her kid asking "mama ask where her pills is" or something to that effect nearly broke my mind. I HATE hearing people talk like that.

It's refreshing to see someone that I actually hopes makes it. Most of these people are such pathetic sacks of shit that I don't hope anything good for them.

What are you expecting? Someone who has had a normal childhood, great parents, and never been molested or neglected balloon up to 600+ pounds? That rarely happens.

Why is training camp so much shorter in latter seasons? It’s four months in season one.
