  1. The fact that he mentioned it at all, and as, "someone else's problem, leads me to believe he knows many are not happy with his vision and execution. When combined with Chuck repeating, "nothing really ends," in the recent trailer, I imagine something is likely in the works. He seems to be saying that in spite of his best effort to really end it, it will continue.
  2. Very true, so many things are subjective.
  3. But, he wasn't referencing Dean at the moment; to include him in that context would have been out of context. I think it is widely accepted that Sam and Dean are God-like.
  4. I think it is generally accepted by most, that the fricking Winchesters are God-like.
  5. I think it is generally accepted by most that the fricking Winchesters are God-like.
  6. Chuck isn't God-like. He is God. Sam is God-like, as is Dean. They are Winchesters.
  7. Because he is a Winchester, just as Dean is.
  8. I never followed the press about the show or any show until this season. Is it typical to give endless interviews and explanations about the show? Seems to me a well-written show shouldn't need to be augmented with these kinds of comments that define and justify the vision.
  9. I still think it was "you guys" and doesn't really matter what member of "you guys" he was looking at. It may be an irreverent indifference to prior lore and canon, or a deliberate decision to undermine them, or both. It is practically impossible to be that incompetent or unaware of key events and established lore as to make that number of changes. Look at the simple spell to cage Chuck, a snap of a finger to open purgatory and annotations in the margin of the tablet. This represents obliterating the previous seasons and struggles. And the most grevious of all...the destruction of free will.
  10. I think you guys are being overly sensitive to how Dean was portrayed. This wasn't directed at Dean, per se. It was to the general you, all of them, who when given the opportunity, freed only Lucifer instead of or including Adam. This is the current showrunner passing judgment on the previous showrunner for failing to address it.
  11. I loved Metatron from the moment he appeared. What an extraordinary character. Yeah. Poor Sam and Dean. With everything going on all the time, they didn't need all the brother angst. Different perspectives, brotherly stuff of course,; but, all the rest too much and too long.
  12. Yes. Compression would tend to lead to quick resolution without your thoughts leading in various directions in the interim. I watch little TV and can count on one hand the shows I've watched over the years. At someone's suggestion, I watched Sons of Anarchy in rapid succession. Mistake. I walked away when it seemed like a soap opera with characters doing contrived things to advance more and more ridiculous plots. Had it unfolded over time I may not have perceived it that way.
  13. I found the angel arc quite interesting. The Angels are without God and the Archangels to lead and guide them. The Apocalypse, which was to bring them paradise on Earth, was averted. A second attempt by Raphael stopped by Castiel led to the decimation of thousands. Metatron forced them from Heaven leaving them confused, frightened, angry. I understand that the show began with 2 brothers. Yet, to sustain the series, they had to broaden the scope. Maybe because you binge watch over such a short period of time, you are not distanced enough from the simple beginning.
  14. Yes. No free will and a convenient spell for every occasion, with God inexplicably bored and evil. This season is embarrassingly awful.
  15. I know nothing of Prada other than hating that movie. I suppose they are asked and then paid a little for promoting clothing. As a kindness, they said "yes."
