All of the media treats Trump like the press treated Dillinger in the 1930's. And his supporters treat him like the public treated Bonnie and Clyde. The only time the narrative changes on this is when the lawyers are on MJ to give legal perspective. A legal expert should be at the table every day

I dipped my toes back into CNN and watched Kaitlyn Collins interviewing the mayor of Miami who's running for president. Why CNN anointed her their wunderkind is a mystery to me. On the other hand I'm very happy for Kasie Hunt and looking forward to her taking over the 6am show. About time that did right by her. It'll be a pleasure not to watch Jonathan Lemire

I hate so many commercials because of the songs, the ridiculous over the top productions, the annoying spokespersons, etc I think commercials should have their own awards show.

Guess my point was lost. I've never watched MJ because of Joe or Mika. I started watching MSNBC at 6 am when Imus was on. And I would watch CNN at that hour too. This time slot morphed into MJ and here we are

I've been on this site for a very long time. Back when it was TWOP. In 2018 I deleted my account and decided to come back in 2019 with a new SN. I honestly don't remember there being so much disdain for Mika and Joe and everything about them until recently. Maybe I'm wrong but I do know we always criticized and made fun of them and all their antics. Me included. But the mood has changed. It makes me sad that a lot of the fun's been sucked out of the board

In defense of Mika's scarves. Maybe it's a Madeline Albright broach thing. Not being a broach wearing person or an indoor scarf person I bet Mika's into scarves for some reason or other. No one cares enough to ask her as they did with Madeline Albright's broaches

And interesting that a lot of the things he listed are things POTUS has already achieved. And BTW board historians Christie listed off why presidents are elected ( of course all R's) he included George Washington. Was Washington a Republican and was he actually elected by the people? I don't think so

Some of the dumbest stuff comes out of the mouths of smart people when they come on this show. Robert Gibbs. But that's what happens when you're a guest on a show that talks about the same subject ad nauseum

Anyone who's watched this show for years (guilty) knows this is considered normal behavior for Mika and Joe. No worries. Mommy and Daddy are fine 🤣🤣🤣

I'll never feel bad for Mika and I don't care it she clueless about her value (whatever the hell that is). There would be no Mika if not for Joe. I would happily take her paycheck in return for putting up with her role on MJ. Minus the being married to Joe. But that's part of the deal she's made

Well this certainly is ironic. Good for Kasie. So far CNN has not been a good move for her. I like her and I will tune in

Here's the thing with MSNBC. After many years it seems they decided the best way to compete is not to be in the same lane as CNN. Ratings wise it works they pretty much bury CNN. But they also focus almost exclusively on politics

ITA. MSNBC has gotten so politics focused that when the Maui fires were the top story Morning Joe opened their show with Trump's legal woes chasing me back to CNN which I hadn't watched since the overhaul many months ago
