  1. Real cute that Chris was so horrified by Paige's looks that he could only have sex with her 3 or 4 times in a couple days. Must have been a real sacrifice. I can completely understand why Virginia shuts down or deflects when Erik talks to her. He lectures, makes demands and refuses to compromise. He doesn't say, "I think we could help Rocky learn patience and some commands if we work together with a trainer," he basically says, "your dog has no manners and he's MY DOG now and you have to do exactly as I say." Also that whole conversation about making her cancel her plans on his whim made me grind my teeth. They need to make plans together based on his schedule. I'm not saying she's innocent or perfect, but Dr Pepper telling him to basically demand what he wants is not going to work. I would have walked already if my partner treated me like that and honestly I have had to. Unfortunately I was young and waited until he got physical when I needed to leave for a previously discussed event (that he was invited to).
  2. Every time he says something remotely nice to her she gets the googly eyes. It's so painful to watch her get manipulated in real time.
  3. I know of a guy who does it to save you money. It's a few hundred bucks and he does all the negotiating so you just have to sign paperwork. Great for people who dread the dealership experience.
  4. I watched this with my mouth agape and hoping they wouldn't match most of these people. Chris immediately had my hackles up with his evangelical buzz words like "train up" and "submissive." You need a very particular type of woman willing to be in a highly patriarchal marriage like that. I was thinking that Iris would be PERFECT for him. Look at the spoilers if you want to know some dirt on him, however. Party girl and pilot guy are going to blow up fast. She's not half as mature or experienced in life as he is. She may do well with someone closer to her age. Mr. Steak and Eggs is asking for colon cancer eating that much red meat and no fiber. He seems awfully rigid. I don't feel that strongly about the other couples. It's going to be a disaster as always.
  5. I swear women like Karen never learn. She wants a hypermasculine man to tell her what to do and be in charge so she doesn't have to put out any emotional effort into the relationship. And then she cries a river when this tough manly man impregnates his mistress like everyone else didn't see it coming. She's not emotionally mature enough for this process if she can't open up to a more open and sensitive man.
  6. Having run a few half marathons and in training for a full marathon, the runger is STRONG. All that exercise makes you feel like you're starving because your body thinks you suddenly need a ton of calories for all that work. Many people actually gain weight during training due to that unless you track your calories. You also have to fuel during the runs so you might take in 100 calories every few miles which negates a lot of the calories burned. Add in genetics and it can be a struggle. Marathon training isn't recommended for weight loss generally.
  7. Did anyone notice that MAFS Fan is completely gone from Instagram and Twitter? Absolutely nothing comes up on their accounts and Twitter says it has been deleted.
  8. I know a woman who got divorced after decades of marriage and a couple kids and managed to get an annulment from the Catholic church by throwing some money and influence at the local parish. Her grandkids were horrified and angry and I'm still not sure how the heck she managed to pull that off.
  9. I really didn't mind her until she starting lecturing Derek about getting on the baby train immediately and giving up any dreams that he may have at the very young age of 26. Like married people just should be popping out kids and never having fun again. She reminds me of the type of person who forces her husband to sell his sports car and buy a minivan. I know she wants to have kids early because of potential complications from her diabetes, but no one will want to think about that if her attitude is your life stops here.
  10. I'm completely with you. If my spouse told me to F off on the honeymoon and treated the film crew like that it would have been over immediately. I imagine the producers are holding the contract over her head and she can't afford to break it so she's trying to be sneaky and backdoor her way out of having to continue to hang out with Mr. Anger Management Problem.
  11. I have the exact blanket as Elizabeth. It was $30 at TJ Maxx a couple years ago. $160 is insane.
