  1. Copied from our forum's preview summary for the April 17th episode: “Pinkus Returns” – When Trevor’s former co-worker, Pinkus (Richie Keen), and his daughter, Abby (Gideon Adlon), show up at Woodstone Mansion, Trevor gets the surprise of his afterlife. April 17 WRITTEN BY: Skander Halim and Talia Bernstein DIRECTED BY: Christine Gernon I may be reading more into this than will come to fruition, but I will put it as a spoiler, just in case.....
  2. Yes, once he "made his bed" all those months ago, it was just a matter of time. Neither of the options were going to work in his favor, it just dragged out the inevitable. Unsure which Choi likes less, Tucker or dogs.
  3. I'm sure they aren't cheap, but it was just about the story and the bonding. I really expected Vance to ask the ladies near the end of the show, "What's with this invoice to NCIS to replace a kiln?" 🤣
  4. Season 18 Episode 20 Going Postal March 31, 2025 This episode had an overall good plot and the story was interesting, with a surprising twist ending. But it was difficult to see how torn up Murdoch was about having to be separated from Julia and Susannah for at least another year. His plan to quit the force was handed back to him oh so graciously by his wife, to the great relief of George. Granted, travel has not advanced to the efficiency it has in 2025, but William and Julia need to have more than one visit while apart. I was not pleased to see the return of Tippy Longfellow. She annoyed me even more this go round, as she seems to think she is on par with William and can participate as an equal. She was helpful in solving the case, even so much so that she saved Murdoch's life; however, being a postal employee, does not give you the authority to read mail that isn't yours, (even if it's a "dead letter"). Having George shadowing her so the fool doesn't get herself killed is a waste of police resources, especially when it appears no one else is working at Station House #4. I suspect she has picked up that Julia isn't going to be back soon, and is setting her trap to console Murdoch for however long she can. She's having a good time, but it's becoming clearer in her head that mysteries can indeed get you killed. William doesn't usually suffer fools lightly (unless they work under his official supervision LOL) but he's hurting, and Tippy is an attractive woman who is obviously smitten. Ms. Harte has reclaimed her alter-ego, and really enjoys her power. How many "mafia-esque" gangs do they need? Right now, she claims to be doing this to protect herself and other business owners like her, but I doubt that's where it will stay. I suspect Isaiah will not tolerate this when he finds out and will bid Violet adios. Speaking of Violet, she's got nerve passing judgement on Murdoch for what she views as a marital indiscretion. George on the other hand, I believe, understands his friend's feelings about the absence of his family, and is truly concerned that this will cause William to seek out the willing arms of Ms. Longfellow. I doubt George will spread gossip, but I would not put it past Ms. Harte to make snarky public comments.
  5. I missed the first half of the show, but Mad Scientist Monster gave me major Tim McGraw vibes. (I hadn't seen any spoilers before watching.) Regardless, he was exceptional! I didn't have any ideas about Nessy or Cherry Blossom's identities while watching live. Nessy's performance was really good. After CB/Candace's performance, though, I was thinking that she could make it as a singer, contrary to her low self-opinion. I was shocked she was voted off. I'm going to stream the whole program to see the ones I missed.
  6. You're welcome statsgirl. It had been bugging me too. Considering Roman's (daddy Parker) behavior before he "ran" out of there, I think there's more to it. I don't recall hearing of Parker's family other than his late mother and his dad; but I may have forgotten that detail.
  7. I don't think that's going to sit well with the partners, especially Senior!
  8. Post deleted by me. Others beat me to it while I was typing. 😉
  9. I've been thinking about the Lily storyline some more, and thought I'd put out this theory: Parker's dad mentioned that a lot of what caused his heated argument with his wife was that she had "Aldie" in the car while she was drunk. Parker said he didn't remember anything about that situation, and I'm wondering if Daddy Parker purposely left out that Alden was perhaps still in the car when his mom fled, taking him with her on yet another dangerous trip. Obviously he survived, and this could explain how he subconsciously recognized Lily when she first appeared to him on the ship when he and Knight were trapped.
  10. I've been intrigued by the Lily storyline. so I'm excited to see they're moving forward on this plot line.
  11. I'm a little nervous, but if Patience and Elias are the ones tangling, it will be "veddy interesting". Good to hear that Bela's guesting too. I really like her. Did I miss a side plot update? What happened with Eric, her partner?
  12. I hadn't either. Wonder if he and Kelsey are the only ones who got the musical/acting genes. They're both really good singers. It's seeming to be a better overall cross section of performers I've at least heard of this season.
  13. I can't locate it at the moment; however, someone had posted a link in the media section where a showrunner was asked about main cast's absences. Their response was exactly as Dimity surmised - difficult to have them all participating each week. I don't know if the stars are paid if not there, but it would be rather noticeable to viewers to have all of them standing around with nothing to do/say. ;-)
  14. I love all the ghosts, but Hetty is definitely a favourite, and her featured performances are always very touching. I think this may bring her and Trevor a little closer together, and that would be lovely to see. Yeah, I'm a old softie!
  15. I enjoyed the bear/cubs story as much with the re-telling as Sheila Carrasco was so animated and delightful in her reenactment that I was completely engaged with her performance. I did wonder if she would "go stoned" and forget what she was saying part way through, but I was rewarded with her comedic talent. "Sass is a virgin." can go on hiatus for the rest of the season, but I agree, Flower should wear her law student persona more frequently.
