  1. I took your suggestion and just finished it yesterday. It was bugging me that it seemed so similar to a show I watched last year, so I finally looked it up. It was called "The Trust", which was also on Netflix. It had an interesting concept and a tricky strategy to figure out how to be the millionaire at the end. Overall, I liked it, even if some of the players were not my cup of tea!
  2. I don't have much to add to whatever has been said; not a Leanne fan here. I was wondering why Charlotte saying that Frankie was a traitor seemed to be accepted by the remaining faithful. The idea of the Seer was that Frankie got to know for certain another player's status, not the other way around. Charlotte did not get to find out Frankie's status. Overall, I enjoyed the season - I am really a fan of how the UK does it vs. the US version. Seeing how the same missions can turn out differently, by using teamwork (UK) is very interesting. I did note in an episode thread that I liked the one mission, where there was a way to block that night's murder. I hope that is incorporated into more missions in the future. Also... Claudia!!!
  3. Her sister seems to be on to her. I am hoping she takes Armani out! I wanted to add that I really liked that the mission had the aspect to it that prevented the traitors from murdering that night. It gives the faithfuls something else to look for in traitor behavior.
  4. I was waiting for someone to point that out. I loved the original Mole, even the first celebrity season (not the second one, though). Netflix picked it up a couple of years ago and there have been two seasons so far. It was renewed for a third season. I don't enjoy the new version due to the abundance of social media and actor wannabes, even though they are "regular people". I do watch a fair amount of competitive reality shows, as well as, all of the Traitor versions. This season did not rank high overall for me. I would like to see some other incentives to build the money in the pot (maybe they should have them win instagram followers instead of money - ha ha!), so that people will focus on completing the missions, rather than focusing on winning a shield. I liked the shield concept when it was introduced and used sparingly, but now, half of the contestants or more may be exempt. It takes away from the show.
  5. I've watched about four episodes (maybe more) and I just cannot get interested in these storylines. Lots of opinions - none positive. May not finish.
  6. I was curious what the topic would be if they had had to go three rounds to determine the winner. Was there a category that did not get played during the game?
  7. Very uncomfortable episode. This is speculation on my part, not a spoiler, and was not sure if I could put it here.
  8. If I recall, the Traitors put the episodes out in bunches, so you could just start the next episode and see the result, and watch the rest of the episode later. Like I said before, I feel these type of cliff hangers work if you are binging, but not so much if you have to wait a week.
  9. I'm still watching, too, but am not in a hurry to see the episode when it first comes out. I cannot disagree with anything said so far - the cliffhangers have to go! They need to do the challenges, not just to add the money to the pot, but so that there is something else to add to their decision-making regarding a poor (or great!) performance. Making it all about personalities is boring. A trend I have been seeing in these "build the pot"-type programs is that the contestants do not seem all that motivated to add money. There are too many influencers who can get money in other ways after the shows.
  10. I am enjoying this, too! Agree with the above comments - why hasn't Xavier been targeted yet? I,too, do no like the trend in the competitive reality shows to leave us hanging. I guess it works if you are binging the series, but I do not feel the build up when I have to wait a week to find out the Anonymous and the departing contestant. I would like to start each show with the aftermath of the vote out.
  11. People Magazine Article explaining the main characters and their mythological origin.
  12. Thanks for sharing some background on the mythology. I guess I have a very shallow memory of all the stories. I keep going back and forth on Riddy and Orpheus' relationship. The coin action surprised me, and I did not initially think about it being love on his part to not give it to her. I am trying to figure out if there is a person that Riddy is trying to get back for (herself??), or what the very strong motivation there is. Orpheus' love for her does seem like it could be smothering.
  13. Okay, just watched the first episode. I am not sure if I like it or not, but I will probably watch more episodes. I do not watch Succession or any of the family dynasty type shows, so I am not sure if this is a parody of those shows, or a unique concept. It is not too hard to follow the characters, but some of the names are a little harder to remember. Zeus is a clown and Hera is cruel! Edited to add: I had not heard of this show beforehand, nor did I read the Media thread before posting. Guess I should do that first next time!
  14. Just finished the season. Sigh. It did not live up to season one, and made me miss Victor Fresco's Better Off Ted even more. I would have liked more Ruby and Luna lab banter instead of the rift between them that lasted too long. Phil and Lemm (Better Off Ted) did the lab buddy friendship so well. Leslie got tiring by the end and the Georgia character is so unlikeable that I was offended that "they" were trying to make her redeemable. Jackson deserves so much better. The real estate episode was better than the other last few, but when the credits rolled on this episode my watching mates and I were all pretty disappointed. Oh well, season 3 anyone?
  15. I really enjoy this show, but Georgia, the intern, is so difficult to watch. When they were switching back and forth between the secret meeting and the younger employees at the bar, Fred Armisen's character (forgot his name!) and Georgia, the intern, were both so cringey. It seems like the same character traits in two different age brackets. Yikes!
