  1. The traitors are dropping like flies. Brook did not help Dan out at the roundtable and to be honest Dan did not help his cause either by going on about Robbie's staring and wink. I look forward to seeing if Colin is just full of hot air, or will he take out Brook to become the sole remaining traitor. I was hoping Brook would pick the female former cop (cannot remember her name right now) to join him, as I think they could have worked together. These two male egos should be interesting to watch!
  2. I grouped these episodes since they are coming out in pairs. I am enjoying a couple of things about this version: 1) Every day looking people except for Colin, the male model. 2) The challenges are different from the UK and US versions. As far as the traitors go, I think Brook is playing too loud and Dan is playing too quietly. Dan seems to be taking the brunt of it, even though Brook seems to be the one that is instigating things. I am not sure Dan is long for this world. I was sad to see Fili go, but it was time for Robbie. Fili did mess up at the mission with the wine barrels, though. Brook did egg Fili and Anna over the end line, but Fili should have let someone (Sam) go over in his place on the second barrel. I am surprised that they are not targeting Julia more. She seems on top of things - maybe she is just biding her time before she really comes out and shows her hand. Please keep Colin around as I am enjoying the fabulous wardrobe.
  3. I binged this over the weekend, fresh off of watching Season 2 of the UK version. I, too, loved the ending for Sam. I did not feel too bad for Blake, so that was fine with me. Go, Camille! I did watch a youtube video of Camille explaining why she did not go with Liam to get Sam out at that point. It made sense that she felt then Liam would have gone after her (since he said he thought Sam and Camille were the traitors) and then Blake would have been the sole winner. I was amazed as how easily Sam would divert votes onto whomever brought up his name at banishment. It was truly shooting fish in a barrel. As far as the cast goes, they were like Season 1 of the US version in that there was a combination of "celebrities" and "normal people". Since I do not watch Australian TV, I had no idea of the celebrity backgrounds. For some, they were instantly under suspicion while Hannah make it almost to the end. I enjoyed the banishment interaction between the actor, Guyton, and Craig's asides about winning awards. Which leads me to say that I have enjoyed the hosts for all the versions, as they each bring their own personality and do not seem like they are trying to copy one another. I like how much Claudia is a fan and involves herself so much in the day to day. Her interviews after the shows are great. I could not rate them, as I feel that each one is a good match for their particular version. Now, on to New Zealand!
  4. I just finished this episode and am trying to figure out whether I want to space these out like I have been doing, or just finish it off! Seeing that Season 2 Australia and the New Zealand versions are available are tipping me toward finishing this season tonight!
  5. Thanks for the refresher!
  6. I like that Claudia called them out on it. It did not phase Harry one bit, he just said it was part of the game.
  7. Not exactly, but close. The mission before the last one for the US version was much earlier and the UK did it in teams at the same time. They have also switched up some minor details in some of the missions. I guess I could go back and check, but didn't the first UK version have a couple that was dating, or somehow they knew each other before the show. I thought that having two people know each beforehand might be the gimmick for the UK version and US thought they would try it out. I like that Diane and Ross are not letting anyone know about their connection - I think it is better this way!
  8. I am enjoying this season and read in the combined thread that they had a postmortem for the UK version, too. I could not find it on Peacock, but found it on Youtube as Traitors: Uncloaked. While I enjoyed it and hope the US version picks up on this and lets the departed players know who the traitors were (the last banished person I saw so far had a very entertaining reaction!), unfortunately I spoiled myself since Youtube recommends all of the Uncloaks, so you will know who else is eliminated. I tried so hard to be unspoiled!!!
  9. Just finished episode two, plus the beginning of episode three to see who was murdered. I think the traitors are doing a good job so far. It is interesting to see how the dynamic works with four traitors - I thought that may be one too many. I was glad to see Sonja go - she bugged, as does Dianne. They are my demographic, so I am usually bothered that they get rid of the older folks first, but between them and Aubrey, I think they were/are standing out too much at this point in the game. I am enjoying the cast overall and am trying to decide if I like the "regular" folks for the UK, or the "celebrities" in the US version. So far, I think I am enjoying the UK version a little bit more. We'll see.
  10. This reminded me so much of Superstore and how they would treat Sandra. Anyone else?
  11. Make it three! Enjoyed the show and hope they do it again. The winners were my favorites from the beginning, with the luxury lodge couple also winning me over as the series progressed. I appreciated the effort put into the playful lodge theme, but it seemed impractical for a rental, safety-wise. The romantic lodge theme missed the mark for me. As well as it not being my design style, if you are on a romantic vacation, it should not include a kitchen designed to seat so many people - and a bunk room!
  12. The interplay between Ruby and Luna in the lab reminded me of Phil and Lem from Better Off Ted - one of my all time favorite sitcoms. Now I know why.
  13. Was the fabric that Fabio used for his top, with the birds, the same fabric Brandon used for his entire final collection a season or so ago? I thought I had seen it before.
