"You two are the parents." Well done.

There are a bunch of towns in AZ that were founded by plyg-practicing Mormons back in the late 1800s. Not a surprise to anyone. I can guarantee that both Meri and Robyn's landlords did not give a shit about polygamy. They just didn't want filming. I wonder if their insurance forbade it?

Bump.

For eight years I lived in Utah and worked in Arizona. Don't get me started on the time confusion.

Duchesne, a feral cat who adopted me when he was around 2. Taffy, an abandoned dog who roamed the streets, adopted me when she was 8. In the first pic, Duchesne is questioning the new creature in his sofa spot.

A Breaking Point describes where we are all at with this show. I sold my last house, packed up two UHauls and moved 450 miles all in three weeks. By myself (except for another driver for one of the UHauls). 60 days would be wonderful, especially with all those kids. I can guarantee that the kids have seen plenty of fights as Robyn took control of the fambly and de-balled Kody.

S11.E09: This Land is Your Land...or Hers?

There are a bunch of tree removal services in Flagstaff. They could have the trees milled and used in the construction of the homes. But I guess that doesn't fit with their Instant Gratification plan. -

Here in AZ, the power company pays for bringing the power to the edge of the property and the property owner pays for trenching, cable and meter box. The houses in the rear will pay a lot more money for running electricity. And if it is over 200 feet or so, then the property owner has to pay for another transformer closer to the house (due yo power loss over distance). I posted in the Live thread a link to Zillow showing 69 houses currently for rent in Flag. The Lehi house was an existing plyg house that Janelle bought. -
But really, it's just Janelle. Robyn will never let her two little ones in it. And the only time multiple kids will want to be in it is during family gatherings, IF there is water in it.
-
If they don't put up any fences (WALLS!) then they can all walk over to the pond. Why does it have to be separate? The house can be away from the pond and there can be an agreement that the kids and Janelle use one side of it. I think the women still think they have 11 billion kids at home instead of just a few.

So... Kody is pissed at Meri and is yelling at Robyn for defending her, and accepting the leftovers. Huh.

They are really scraping the bottom of the barrel this season. Suddenly, Kody is questioning polygamy just because his wives don't get along (never have). Robyn is hand-wringing, dry-crying and eye-booger wiping about living in one house with everyone (never wanted to in the first place). They have barely filmed the kids (because they would probably tell the truth about their parents). Hell, they even had a wife-beater on last week, and completely embraced him. If this show continues, you can bet the story lines will get even more dumb. They live their lives on SM, so we know everythingk a year in advance and can instantly spot the bullshit. In fact, that seems to drive a lot of our discussion here, comparing RL and TLC-L. -
Let's see- very bad acting over land they will never build on (and if they did, Meri won't be there), Janelle wants everyone to share the giardia/pesticide and asphalt runoff from the drainage pit, and I can bet there have been many worse fights in their history (kitchens, random fast-tracked moves, Kody picking out Robyn's wedding dress, catfish, Robyn in general).

Yep, I said it. One of the plyg women I knew in my former town was dating a plyg guy in Flagstaff. I was surprised that there were plygs there (I have spent most of my life in AZ and spent lots of time in Flag). She said it was a small community but had been there since Mormon polygamy in the 1800s. I didn't ask her what sect they were. If I remember correctly, it is on one property. Yes, they will have to build a certain distance from it. Yes, if snow pack is above normal or summer monsoons are bad, it could really flood the adjacent properties. They will probably not be allowed to do any modification of the pond or add any structures. They definitely will not be allowed to stock it with fish since the pond can overflow.
-
Yep, one well ain't gonna cut it. They will need four wells, each on the property it serves. Wells can be very expensive here, especially if the ground is rocky. Same with separate septic tanks and leech fields for each house. They would also need to dig trenches for electricity; that gets expensive for the houses away from the main road. And yes, the pond is for area drainage and they won't be able to modify or block it.

"They want to sell our house." That was a big tell from Kody.

Janelle can't move on the ground. Typical plyg man. Does not see polygamy from the women's point of view. Ever.

"I'm tired of your crap and I just don't want to hang out with you anymore." Kinda how I fill about this show.
