  1. I don't blame Cliff for "ruining Nicole's game" because, the fact is, Nicole had no game for most of the season. She did nothing but ride Cliff's coattails for the first 2 months of the game. If it wasn't for him, she probably would have been gone long before final 3. I don't think it has anything to do with how to make it in this world. It's a reality show, it's really not that deep. However, it has everything to do with how to win Big Brother. Lying has always been a part of Big Brother and it's pretty much necessary if you want to win the game. I haven't seen any bullying this season. I've seen people who are kind of assholes but I haven't seen any bullying, at least not on the broadcast shows. And as for the cheating, agreed, that sucks.
  2. Agreed. It doesn't matter how much production interferes with the show or how many dickheads they cast, this is our crack and we'll be back every season until the show is cancelled. We're dummies.
  3. I don't have any sympathy for Nicole. It's her own fault she's going to be going to the end with a showmance. She could have tried harder to convince Cliff to evict Holly and, even if that didn't work, she could have split up the showmance during her previous HOH but she chose to nominate Christie & Tommy instead. (Even though they pretty much couldn't win shit and Jackson & Holly were winning comps all season.) So now we're going to end up with an obnoxious winner who only got there because production helped him win the veto. What a crappy season. They're certainly not the most hateful houseguests ever but half of them were assholes and the other half were idiots who didn't even bother playing the game most of the time. Loved seeing Ovi again! Can the internet coordinate efforts to get Ovi (or David or Kemi) to win America's Favorite? Just to let these morons know "You guys suck so hard, America prefers the people they barely saw over you."
  4. I hate that so much! At some point over the years, it switched from "Which nominee do I want to evict?" to "The HOH is all powerful and I must evict whoever they tell me to!" I'm not sure which season started that crap but it's never been the same.
  5. I think the walls in the BB house must be made of paper this year. I don't ever remember so much eavesdropping before. I thought Tommy came across very well in his exit interview. He seemed very self-aware when it came to his mistakes in the house and he is clearly a huge fan of the game. Also, he's not a Bitter Betty and can actually respect good game play so that already makes me like him better than 99% of all other evicted houseguests. Still, what a crappy final four in terms of who to root for. I think Jackson has played the best game out of everybody who is left but that doesn't mean I want that douchenozzle to win. Cliff has also played a good strategic (although boring) game. Although Nicole has starting winning some comps in the final 2 weeks, she basically did nothing all season except ride Cliff's coat tails. He was the one out there wheeling and dealing, always including Nicole in his deals. Which is why I have no problem whatsoever with him sort of throwing her under the bus in his conversation with Jackson. It was pure strategy and he's carried Nicole all season, there's no crime in him playing for himself now that it's down to crunch time.
  6. I'm so pissed at Tommy for telling them about his relationship with Christie. He denied us the joy of seeing them freak out at the reunion. Also, what kind of stupid game play is that? Why lie ALL summer and then blab and put a target on yourself at the most crucial point of the game? It also really pisses me off that Kat was seen as shady because of her possible relationship with Holly but Tommy is complimented on how good he is at keeping it secret. Like WTF? Conspiring bitches!
  7. Ehhhhh, I don't know. I'm pretty sure they can make adjustments if they really want to.
  8. I've been rooting for Anthony and James to win all season so I was actually surprised when I found myself rooting for the sisters in the finale. They just really grew on me as the season went on. I was so bummed for them when they lost their clue. I'm still really happy with the winners though! I couldn't help but wonder if TPTB helpfully moved the elves with the yellow & red candy canes closer to the entrance in order to get Lauren out of there quickly and hopefully catch up to the other teams. If not, that was some really good luck on her part! I was too, at first, but then I realized that meant we would have had to sit through Dave & Irina and I just don't think I could stomach that. It would have been nice to hear from the other teams though. I like how they all commented last night on the beauty and diversity of Canada. At least some people can appreciate how lucky they are to live here. (And others can piss off back to Dubai.)
  9. Did Bay and Saggy P mention they had just moved to L.A.? Why? Do they think that either of them have any sort of discernible talent or do they just think that their Big Brother popularity (snerk) can be parlayed into some sort of reality tv career? LMAO "All different colors and sizes". Did this fool think people were actually going to buy them?
  10. It's not panto though. I don't know how much more disgraceful behaviour we need to see from those two before people stop using the "it's all an act" defense for them. When you behave like that 24/7 on every single media platform, there's nothing pretend about it - that's who you are. Not to mention, his fighting career is basically in Myanmar so it's not like anybody from Canada is going to be seeing any of his fights anyway, so he's not doing it to promote his fights.
  11. I definitely wouldn't call either of them all-time great trainwrecks. I actually wouldn't call Dave & Irina or Arthy & Thinesh trainwrecks at all. Neither team really fought with each other and they did well on most of the challenges. Arthy got a little whiny towards the end when she was stressed out but it's not like they had a meltdown or anything. I don't really understand how referencing your life constitutes a pre-fabricated storyline. I mean, I'm not even sure which specific team you're referring to but it could apply to all 3. Sam & Sara are the never-give-up Olympians. The sisters are the small-town Saskatchewan girls. And James & Anthony are the married First Nations couple. That's just who they are.
  12. I interviewed Jonathan for TARflies.com many many moons ago and he was actually very nice and very personable. That being said, I wouldn't want to marry the guy. I know they had a daughter together but eventually got divorced. I agree that Holly was pathetic in last night's episode but I'm thinking maybe, at this point, she's got some sort of Stockholm Syndrome and, once she gets out in the real world, she'll remember that there are guys out there who aren't.....well, who aren't Jackson.
  13. Ditto. I mean, it was a cute little song but I would be willing to bet that 99% of Canadians outside of NS have never heard of it. I will never understand people who enjoy being dickheads on purpose. You must be right about the attention. I wish people would not respond to his posts.
  14. I think most people outside of NS have probably never even heard of that song. It's not like people are going to be singing that song in any of the other provinces.
  15. Being two-spirit isn't putting themselves in a box. In fact, it's pretty much the exact opposite. So glad to see the vile and obnoxious Dave & Irina gone. Funny how these challenges are so much harder when you can't cheat. It's their own fault for choosing the apple detour but I guess the Queen didn't want to do sledge because then she might actually have to do something hard. FYI, the two of them were all over the TAR Canada twitter feed after the show aired, chirping at and being obnoxious to anyone who mentioned they were happy with the outcome. These people hadn't tagged them which means Dave & Irina were purposely seeking out tweets so they could be assholes. So, yeah, not an act at all. They really are like that outside of the race too. Like the majority of people, I would be happy with any of the remaining teams winning. If being kind, decent people means that you're preaching (it doesn't), I'll gladly hang out with the preachers over the assholes any day.
  16. Really? I knew Grandma, Zero Stars and the alien were the same guy (slimmer this season, I think) but I really thought this was a different guy. Now I’m sad, the universe clearly wants me to confuse me.
  17. I'm at a point where I automatically hate any visitor who isn't the "ZERO STARS!!!!" guy. Anyone else is a let down.
  18. These people are so boring that it was basically impossible to come up with any good zings. Jackson’s zing made me laugh though because it wasn’t even really a zing, it was just straight up “You’re a dick. The end.” I’m clearly a horrible person because it bugs me that Christie wasn’t more upset about America siding with Nick.
  19. Oh my God, that’s AWFUL! I heard about that on the news but didn’t realize it was him. I loved Team Give’r. Them randomly spotting one of their brothers on the streets of Ottawa is one of my all time favourite TAR moments. I’m so sad.
  20. I definitely see Hayleigh! What’s with people and their fugly or ridiculous tattoos this season?
  21. I’ve never even noticed that tattoo. Are there pics of it somewhere? I only ask because now I really want to know if I see Charlize Theron or Taylor Swift.
  22. It’s a marijuana leaf. Who knew Ms. Chen-Moonbeam was a pothead? Maybe that’s why she seems to be having so much fun this season.😂
  23. Julie looked like she just did a walk of shame from last night’s conquest straight to the studio. You go, girl! Oh, Nick will most definitely win for Prankster. If there’s one thing history has shown us, it’s that BB fans love nothing more than voting out of spite. (See: Cody’s Fan Fave victory and Janelle’s 729 America’s Choice wins). Sunday’s episode should be delicious! This, too, would be delicious! All I’m rooting for now is to see Jackson and Christie get booted in spectacular fashion. (Yes, Jackson has been getting a good edit lately but I haven’t forgotten “The juice isn’t worth the squeeze.” Jerk.) Sadly, then I’d be left with a house of boring ass people who really haven’t done anything. I guess one could argue that Cliff’s “lay low and let them turn on each other” strategy worked perfectly but it’ll be hard to convince a jury that you were actually playing.
  24. That cracked me up too! The sisters have really grown on me. But Anthony & James are still my faves. I was soooooo sad when they were last because I figured the Moms used up all the NELs so I was very happy for the TBC! I'm completely unspoiled so this is pure speculation on my part but I'll tag it just in case. I don't mind the Blind Detour as long as the tasks are relatively equal in terms of time. In this case, the painting seemed like it would take much longer than the other task.
