that's how I see it. my original reference to Karen had nothing to do with the racist covid denying trumpers that it has evolved into. when I called Ariola's friends Karens...I referred to somewhat spoiled Moms, living in a bubble of comfort. Admittedly, they wouldn't be the right age range....more like Karen Jrs. I am the pumpkin spice drinking ugg/patagonia wearing, (have worn them for 30 years) designer handbag carrying, SUV driving white Mom that is either basic or a Karen. I don't identify at all with what it has tuned into. I lived through blonde jokes in the early 90s, and rolled with it. and although I may be white, my kids and husband are not. the term has been around a couple years....at least amongst the "kids", I know this because I didn't know what she was talking about...and though she was talking about my friend Karen. I don't care if ugg boots are out of style, been rocking them since the 80s. nothing is better on a "cold" day in California. yelling at people in parks/calling police on children/ranting about mask wearing.....NOT ME. that's the 2020 evolution of Karen.

my daughter and her friends have long been referring to entitled white women who wear yoga pants and hang out at Starbucks and drive Range Rovers/Volvos, etc. as Karens for quite some time. Before the racist ranting women made the term popular, and way before COVID was an issue. The girls would point at us Moms drinking frappucinos and gossiping at lacrosse games, and call us a group of Karens. I fit the demographic, but certainly not the attitude that is associated with the term as it has become widely used. I think the term Karen has evolved from a mild suburban put down to something else entirely.

How ever many years ago, Colt brought home Larissa. He picked her up in his un air conditioned vehicle, (unheard of in Las Vegas) and drove her to his small home in the burbs of Vegas to live in with his Mom, cats, and ugly slot machine. I'm assuming at one point he had some kind of cubicle job, that his Mom drove him to...in the shared vehicle with no AC. Unfortunately this show has given him a platform for the advancement of his pathetic online sex for a green card lifestyle. I couldn't imagine spending 5 minutes inside that home. For God's sake, they are filming, pick up all the dishes/clutter on the counters. Take a walk Colt, eat a salad...use some of your money to buy better furniture and visit a national park. Maybe you can save yourself from the dismal future, which seems to be fast approaching. TLC is not going to take care of you, this will end.

I don't hate them, I did hate them when David was begging money from his friend and had to live in the firehouse. I've enjoyed watching Annie make food on her hotplate, she's making the most of her situation...and seems to care about the man. maybe money/success has helped make David more likable. I think we are all a little more pleasant when we earn our money instead of charity. I find people more likable when they have had bad times, and make it through to the other side. I hope they continue to prosper. I could see them selling real estate together.

I live in probably the most extreme nanny state, and my kid's practice was set up in a public field large enough to accommodate many games. we signed a zillion waivers and only one kid per car, no parents allowed on field, had to pay like 30$ each city fees to use the park. (carpool is no problem because they are of driving age). so after all of this, several nosy people start filming practice and calling the cops on the team. the entire hour was wasted by the coach dealing with entitled Karens, and their demanding questions. repeat same procedure following week.

so hard working families are torn apart and parents sent back to Mexico, but this trash bag gets to stay here. showing her goodies for nickels and getting free plastic surgery? I guess America is truly the land of opportunity. I thought ICE was finally doing its' job. and where the hell is Mohommed? send them both home.
