  1. From what I recall, Jax financed her first club as an FU to Sonny and Sonny paid for the second one after Jax forced her out of the first one.
  2. That set is definitely repurposed. It looked like the one they used when people were waiting at the airport. It’s a pet peeve but I hate when sets don’t look like anything they are supposed to be. See Spring Ridge which doesn’t even remotely look like a prison. It’s so weird that they are making it seem like she’s been living there for decades. Sonny bought it after they divorced. She didn’t move in there until they reunited a decade later so she’s only been there for like 8 years. Donna’s barely going to notice if you moved. I didn’t hear any big outrage over moving Joss away from that yellow house she grew up in because they moved to Greystone.
  3. Dear lord, they saved all of the most annoying characters for today. I was only spared from Michael and Willow but looks like they’ll be on Monday judging from the previews along with all of the other iterations of Carly.
  4. I think CW was playing against script. Some of the vet actors have talked about occasionally getting dialogue that they don’t agree with or doesn’t think makes sense for their character. Since they can’t change the actual lines without getting into trouble, they play the scene differently to make it their character sound sarcastic or like they are joking when it wasn’t intended that way.
  5. I thought the Kristina/Molly solo scene was better than Molly’s scenes with Sam or the ones they had together during the first half of the episode. They look about the same age but the previous actresses did as well, even HP looking older than baby-faced LA at times, so that wasn’t jarring to me. The older actresses throws off the dynamic with Sam, who’s always been the much older sister. It’s not just with Molly, it’s with Kristina too. Sam’s coming off way more annoyed and judgmental about Kristina than ever before. I could kind of buy that type of relationship when they looked 20 years apart but not when they look like peers. It just makes Sam come off bitchy.
  6. I’m sure she will but every time she has a break or Carly is out of away from things (like when she was in Jacksonville last year), its becomes more and more obvious how easily she lifts out and how nonessential of a “lead character” she’s become. She doesn’t drive story and her absence didn’t impact any other character. Even her lame kids have their SOs and friends so mommy not being around didn’t affect them.
  7. I’m finding Portia disingenuous and manipulative. We saw her encourage Esme to coparent with Spencer and she suggested they take parenting classes together all the while telling Trina that Spencer doesn’t have time for her and telling Spencer that it’s not fair to Trina that Trina has to be around Esme because of him.
  8. Seems like they are going the alcoholism route with Taggart and though I think he can do a great job, I don’t know how they can do this type of SL with someone who is barely on and only has strong ties with 1 person currently on the canvas. It’ll be like when they did the first addiction SL with Sasha and no one noticed for months because she had no family and was relatively new to the canvas.
  9. They recast Molly again but her scenes with Sam are terrible and she looks way too old. Just throw the character away at this point
  10. I will always find it hilarious that the only instance we can recall of Olivia being Team Ned was when he was mayor and we were supposed to be rooting against him since he was colluding with that shady guy. Though she was more invested in having that first lady title than he was in being the mayor.
  11. She made it obvious that she doesn’t want to be around Ned if he doesn’t have his memories and even though she tries to make it about Leo at the end, he showed way more compassion for what happened to Ned than she did. So much for in sickness and in health. As much as the Qs got criticized for being too much with Jason after his accident and driving him away, they always tried to keep him in their lives when it became clear that his memories weren’t returning. I really wish people like Monica were around to explain to her how messed up she was being.
  12. Well today kind of made me understand how TJ and Willow can be friends. The surrogate storyline is starting off stupid considering that TJ and Molly haven’t even mentioned wanting to go that route yet. They should have started off considering it before Kristina came up with the idea for it to be her.
  13. Alexis and Sonny have nice friendship chemistry. You’d think they’d capitalize on it more instead of having them share scenes twice a year.
  14. I bet that the only reason they shot Curtis is for Trina to suddenly let him in and for Portia to forget that he kissed Jordan. It’s a pp to ffw through those issues and straight into a happy family.
  15. This sudden animosity TJ/Molly have towards Kristina is random. When’s the last time they shared scenes with her that wasn’t for the holidays or some big family moment? I honestly can’t recall any individual scenes between TJ and Kristina before this. The only “Davis girl” we ever see him sharing one on one scenes with outside of Molly is Alexis. At the same time, this version of Kristina comes off like an airhead and even more immature than LA’s Kristina was. I hoped they were going in a positive direction with the character with the older looking recast but if anything, they went backwards.
  16. Carly-free days are always a short reprieve. They always turn around and give her an entire month of episodes to make us pay for any break we get from her. Plus they subjected us to both of her kids and their lame pairings, who also have nothing going on since their storyline about taking Sonny down ended with a whimper.
  17. Soap actors are working under a different deal that doesn’t expire until 2024 so they aren’t impacted by the strike.
  18. I just realized that they thought doing that was more important than trying to help Sasha, who always drops everything to be support Willow. She got arrested in their house and Michael immediately dumped the problem onto Gladys because pretending to be in Paris was more important.
  19. IMO, the vibes between Sam and Kristina have been off since early 2020 when they had that fight and Kristina rightfully pointed out how she wasn’t to blame for Sam being on probation since Sam chose to go after Shiloh well after Kristina was out of the cult and she was pathetic for fighting so hard to be around Jason when he put her and the kids in 5th place on a good day. Since then, Sam has either treated her like a problem child (see not including her in Alexis’ intervention because she would ruin things when Sam was a complete bitch to Alexis) or she pats her on the head and says one day she’ll get it together. Idk, Sam got everything handed to her, including her PI business we never see her doing, via Jason’s mob money. I don’t see her dating Dante to be any major life accomplishment. At least Kristina seems to have goals and interests.
  20. She did miscarry the surrogate baby so maybe that’s why?
  21. Sonny dyed his hair mid way through the episode. I know they film out of order but they used to be better about catching things like that.
  22. Michael not wearing a mask when everyone else is weird. Willow wears one too
  23. That’s a common theme. No one noticed the last times she was off when she was using for months, especially not Michael and Willow.
  24. Money hungry Lucy wouldn’t want Martin to give up 50k/month alimony just to marry her so I don’t know why this is such a big gotcha moment. She wouldn’t if she were in the same position
  25. Isn’t Sasha supposed to be on benzos? I’ve never seen anyone act manic while taking those.
