Also Alora Rose - no shocker, besides being portrayed is incompetent, which she is not, but it made a good story line, she just does not seem DCC personality and came off like an actress in a job, not like DCC was her reason for life. I think she got an unfair edit. Sort of like Jackie Bob (forgive me for the comparison to Queen Jackie) being portrayed as struggling in camp. That was manufactured. Seriously wondering how Charlotte hasn't put her in the triangle for pics alone. I think she can keep up with Rachel.

I think that if you stripped her of all the artificial glam - the extensions, teeth, lashes, etc. she'd be very boring, but she's so photo ready that it makes up for it. Those short legs kill me. Her appearance is 75% of her talent, but that's what they need for the opening point. Her technique isn't bad, and most people aren't going to get past the WOW she's a stunner and look at her showmanship. Not sure if it is possible to top that.

Nah Amy is still far more boring and plain and at least Rachel has that stunner WOW factor. Point 2. Open with looks then entertain with talent. OMG YES! I think it was a coin toss with Holly/Jacie as to who would be better point. Rotating would have solved that problem. I feel like Caroline is boring with her expressions but on the same dance level as Gina, Kelcey, etc. Amber does balance Gina.

Amber is a firecracker. Rachel is there for the photos. Period. I think she got over looked bc there was so much talent in that rookie class, but she is power pom perfection.

They did this with Crystal Trevino and Nicole Hamilton a couple times and when testing out Jacie vs blonde Holly for point. Holly won. Jacie left the next year. I do like the 2 points with no tip on the triangle, too myself.

Lines are off but is that Rachel/Gina point (no shocker, I approve). I can't tell who exactly starts off beside rachel, maybe amber and ashlee? but with Gina it is Lexie to her right (vomit) and Amber? to the left? Rahcel moving to diamond? I get not demoting Lexie out of the triangle, but i have never been a fan. She just looks so cheap and dated like a Girls Next Door reject, and her mom buddying up to TIna K and Judy just rubs me the wrong way. It will take me a long time to get over the vomitous triangle of Maddie/Amy/Lexie. This looks like Chandi and Ashlee? I never really got the Chandi love, nothing bad, just never saw a WOW factor, but I do like this triangle. Good for you Chandi. I find this quite intriguing as well. Thought for sure that Caroline had point written all over her even though I always wanted Bridget up there from their rookie class. Or Amanda but can't remember if she was a year after them.

I totally did not recognize her, but I feel like I could not pick out a single Rookie from last year if they all knocked on my front door. She is GOOD. Reminds me a little of Robin but better and that says a lot.

Haven't posted in month bc well life and this past year has made me realize i'm too old for petty drama especially with girls I don't really even know anymore. But have to say that 1) Rachel W is point bc of looks. Her dancing is adequate and them short drumstick legs SMH, but she is a stunner. Watch that last video on the stage - don't ask me to post it bc it's a few up - she comes out of the gate with the WOW factor they want. She is prob the most photogenic DCC theyve ever had and yes, she is no Ashlee powerhouse, Gina technical, or Amanda fun to watch, but she's STILL better performer than Maddie, Amy, or Lexie. 2) Tess that bitch is au naturale. No implants. Just straight homegrown Louisiana. 3) Gina. Oh, Gina. So that video I mentioned above. Rachel had the wow factor, but as soon as Gina and Rachel were side by side I was drawn to Gina. She outdanced her. Duh. Split the two with point, get your pictures and then your entertainment. I love split point. 4) Gina part 2. Her body and if she's a good or bad role model. Her body is naturally tiny, muscular and thin, but yes she has gone overboard with the photoshopping and it is not a good look. I think too that she is OCD and has to go to the extreme, competitive with herself more than otehrs, but she has gone too far and it is not a good look. It's just too harsh. I doubt she is unhealthy just looks that way. As for her being a role model, I don't for one minute think she is a bad moral role model or has bad personality traits. I do think her current stringy almost anorexic look is not ideal and it does set her back as an ambassador. 5) I agree, Daphne has always from day 1 looked sickly and worse than Gina. She just has never looked healthy. I think she is a waist weight gainer and has to look anorexic to keep from looking like she carries a little less than DCC perfect there. Her face always looks tired, drawn, just not good. I do not know anything about her as a person except UCLA UCLA UCLA, but sort of glad she is stepping down for injury bc she always looks sick and miserable. 6) Caroline. This one is the mystery to me. She looked like perfect cookie cutter point material. Fabulous technical dancer, as good as Gina, maybe better musicality. Perfect body. No weird personality issues. Basic as hell with her look but they seem to like that for point. Not ugly, just not a stunner, but approachable. Now is she even anywhere near the triangle? I know they have a lot of talent but dang. Was the lake incident that bad? 7) Would be shocked if Kat does not make show group just bc she's gorgeous and she can talk to a tree stump. We've seen worse on show group. 8) Sad Amanda left, but not suprised at all. 9) Don't get the Alora Rose hate with her looks, personality or dance ability. She's worked on a higher pro level than basically all these girls, looks are fine, and yeah comes off as a little fake, but like a working actress in antoher acting job, so doesn't bother me. 10) Not getting the Marissa hate. She's like an overactive puppy, kind of annoying but you still want play fetch and pat her on the head. Yeah I compared her to a Golden retriever.

And seriously if Rachel quits to make a political decision I’m sure she’ll spin it toher advantage and be a victim, when In reality she’s already been point and cover girl so if she does quit she’s pretty much achieved most of the top accolades. Presuming it is Rachel. but seriously if NFL as an employer wants vaccinated employees, cuts down liability and it’s not like if somebody quits DCC bc of job requirement that they’re being put on death row or being denied a heart transplant. It’s part time cheerleading for crap pay. Not a matter of life or death.

So overall I don’t think they lied about a $20k scholarship especially if that included housing and no way in hell would I let a 12year Old go live in NYC alone

I always just thought this $20k scholarship was legit but value prob inflated, like when people brag on getting a $100k scholarship to some little cow town private school that literally awards every applicant what sounds like a high value scholarship. Sounds like big $$ but not really does anyone ever actually pay that. also at 12 VK May have been far more advanced than now. Potential is not actuality or reality 10 years down the line.

I think that’s Judy more than cassie but hey, the kid may love performing and want it for herself when she’s older too. Perfect point. Adequate dancer, extremely photogenic, boring as hell. Kelli said from training camp Rachel’s first year every move looked like a perfect shot and I said well there’s your future point. Kasharas been the only one for years and years with any personality.

Sydney retiring didn’t suprise me at all. I love her look but she’s thicker than most DCC so prob an issue plus she has pro cheered forever. A year of DCC might just be icing on the cake to finish a pro cheer career. VK sounds like they are saving face to avoid an ugly cut. Kelli giving her the option to say she’s taking a leave is brow raising but nice I guess. If she goes now though she won’t be back unless it’s All Stars.

If rules actually applied to VK. They’ve made exceptions before.

Ok my prediction is VK just does not have the body build and chemistry to maintain DCC standards. She has a great body but gains in her waist which is unforgiving with the uniform and expectation of rock hard abs. Some people no matter what they do will not be able to shape their body to certain ways and she is one. I also predict she’s done her 2 years so watch her “step down a year” and come back as an All Star, which would be better for her anyway. but yall as much hell as has been given to every breath VK takes, much of it deserved, LMAO if she becomes a beloved martyr now that she’s been allegedly cut/allowed to leave/whatever.

Hate to admit that while Gina looks far better at point than Amy it Maddie, my eyes are drawn to Rachel at point. What happened to CAroline? I was sure she was frontrunner. I want Amanda up there myself but hey. Also Kashara got lucky when a bunch of girls screwed up but she’s far better than Kat. Kat is there for looks period.
