  1. Amy's IG Story might have confirmed what happened with Jana. If she was getting her digs in, this was really passive aggressive of her and uncalled for. Must be nice to have only one child to care for with your mom around all the time to babysit as opposed to, you know, being ordered by your abusive Boob Dad to care for like a dozen kids who aren't even yours. Amy needs to check herself.
  2. Here is the video of Jer and Jinger's cool time at the Dodgers game (never posted a link, hope it works) https://www.instagram.com/stories/jeremy_vuolo/2689152189191864936/ This man's extreme douchery is making me hate his wife. They both are trying to come off as a cool young couple that enjoy a fun time out with their homies, but all I can see is arrogance, fakery, and unearned privilege. Would it kill them to show some form of charity to counteract all the bragging posts of free eats, free babysitting and free outings? Even if the charity and kindness shown was fake, I would score them on a curve for their douchery since it would at least potentially have a positive impact on the people who unironically follow them.
  3. At the time I thought that was producer-scripted drama where Katie was directed to step back and not give him the rose, but now that you mention it, in hindsight, it may have been all her.
  4. A little late on the CMT Awards discussion - A possible reason for Gabby Barrett backing out could be the Covid testing requirement. Since Grace Community Church is defiant about Covid, it's possible she either tested positive or hasn't been vaccinated, or she might have refused to participate in Covid testing at all.
  5. Okay, so reading up on Grace Community Church has skeeved me out and put me in a conspiracy frame of mind. The more I read about Grace, the more grossed out I get. The money the top guys hoard, the infighting, the allegations of covering up sexual assault, various members like Jeremy and his homies promoting a prosperity lifestyle. Jinger and Jeremy were introduced to Cade and Gabby by their pastor Michael Mahoney, who has since been fired from the church for various "crimes," one of which may involve the assault coverup. I'm really curious what the heck is going on behind the scenes at Grace and what role J&J may have in any of it. I'm wondering if there is some old school/new school conflict within the church where Jeremy/Jinger and Gabby/Cade are part of a contingent trying to recreate Grace into a Hillsong style "cool church" that attracts celebs and a younger following. I sorted through a few articles and twitter feeds and it's all very convoluted from the outside looking in. Whatever the case may be, nothing Jinger and Jeremy are doing right now is even remotely organic from their clothing to their outings to their cutesy posts and smiley interviews. It's all an act, and a bad one at that. Sure, insta influencers have PR teams and create these false personas everyday for a living, but there's something off with the way J&J are going about it. I don't believe they are buying their own clothes or paying for their own meals - I think maybe they are being used to promote something besides themselves.
  6. These surprise faces they put on are too much. The fakeness is real. Looks like they went to the Taylor Swift school of acting.
  7. Whenever Jinger was talking he looked visibly uncomfortable nodding his head and constantly interjecting "yeah." He can't wait for her to shut up so he can talk again. She appears to be oblivious to what an asshole he is, but maybe that's just the "on" version of Jinger. She's always too self-aware on social media to get a read on what's really going on with her.
  8. I didn't watch the full episode of the Finale but just watched a clip of Rachael meeting Matt's brother and mom, and boy was that stiff! Mom and brother asked Rachael very scripted questions and neither of indicated any concerns about race (not in the 4-minute clip I watched anyway). I've had job interviews more natural and genuine than those conversations. Between this and all the deleted scenes it looks like the producers really, really screwed this all up all the way around from the shallow basic of making the show entertaining to the deepness of having the first black Bachelor. This didn't happen overnight - the show has been going downhill for years - but this season in particular showed how cowardly and controlling the producers have become. They just weren't up for the task. Regarding Matt's breaking up with Rachael, after looking more into Rachael's social media past, there should be no question why he would want to cut her off cold. I tend to look at everything through the lens of a parent and if my college-age children kept the company that Rachael did and liked and followed the posts that Rachael did, I'd be deeply disappointed in them, question my own parenting, and do whatever I can to help them understand why I felt that way. That's what a parent would do. A boyfriend or girlfriend? Nope. Sometimes love isn't enough and starting off a relationship with this level of baggage is never a good idea. All in all, I'm glad for both Rachael and Matt in that they both have the opportunity to confront things about themselves they would otherwise have spent a lifetime avoiding. They have Chris Harrison and the inept producers for that, so all's well that ends well I guess. These are some examples of Rachael's social media activity in case anyone missed it: https://www.the-sun.com/entertainment/2259898/bachelor-rachael-kirkconnell-racist-cultural-appropriation-matt-james-fans/ https://www.distractify.com/p/rachael-the-bachelor-trump-supporter
  9. I so agree. I loved how uncomfortable Bill got when Howard confronted him on his romanticized bachelorhood (Howard to Bill: You're so angry). I'm all for adults enjoying their life free of the ties that bind, to each their own. But I've always thought there was something disingenuous about Bill's "choice" not to commit.
