  1. NY Times writer weighs in on Luann de Lesseps’ misleading ‘review’ on cabaret poster

    https://pagesix.com/2019/10/23/reviewer-talks-luann-de-lesseps-license-with-review-of-her-cabaret-show/

Last week, we reported that Luann de Lesseps claimed the New York Times called her cabaret show “inspiring,” when in fact the paper noted in a profilethat the show sold out fast, “inspiring” her to add a second date.

Rachel Dodes, who wrote the Times story, told us, “I’d say that Luann’s creative license is inspiring, though not as inspiring as her commitment to the performing arts.”

Meanwhile, the reality star continues to flaunt her relationship with Gersh agent Rich Super following a Page Six report that they were back together but “hesitant to call themselves a couple.” They were just spotted at Nerai and celebrating his birthday at House of Blues New Orleans.

Just read an article where it said that Tre and the girls would be visiting him "soon".

So is he just staying a hotel or air bnb?  With what money or will he have to find work?  Does he speak Italian (not that he was that fluent in English)?

I just cannot imagine having to go to your homeland, which really isn't home to you, and starting over.  Not feeling sorry for him one bit, just thinking how strange it would be.

He does look happy (and unrecognizable) in that photo.

    From the Radar article:

Now he’s grinning with his brother Pete and according to a Radar source, his new life plans are in motion.

“He will be heading to Naples shortly, where there is a house waiting for him. His mother has been fixing up a house for him in preparation for his arrival,” the insider noted.

A source told Radar Teresa will be making lots of money for filming an Italian reunion with Joe for RHONJ.

  4. https://pagesix.com/2019/10/08/hoda-kotb-says-she-found-true-happiness-at-49/

Kotb told us that with several of her co-workers also having kids, it’s all anyone can talk about.

“I mean everyone’s so sick of us like literally, I feel sorry for our crew,” she said, joking, “They’re like ‘put your kid pictures away. We’re gonna gag.’ Literally, I think one of our cameramen barfed like nearby because we’re so entertained by our children and what they’re doing.”

On the plus side, she added that because they’re all going through parenting together, it’s easier to bond over.

“We can do it ad nauseam I think because we are all in the same boat,” she said. “Savannah [Guthrie], Dylan [Dreyer], Jenna [Bush Hager], like everybody kinda just puts it out there.”

I really hope there is no one on their team who doesn't have kids or can't have kids or feels bad about not having kids. You would think Hoda not finding happiness until age 49 would be a little less tone deaf to how alienating it is to hear nothing but parent talk when you aren't in the same position - even worse if you wish you were. I'm glad Hoda is happy and found happiness in her personal life, everyone should. It just kind of surprises me how insular they have all become. I guess the Today Show is geared toward stay at home moms in general so that's what they are pandering to, but it's really become unwatchable. It used to be at least sort of about news or interesting stories, and now it just feels it's really just all about the talent's personal lives, ALL the time.

Joe Giudice is ready to go back to Italy — for now.

As he awaits a decision on whether he’ll be deported to his native country, Teresa Giudice‘s husband has asked the court to release him from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody and send him to Italy, according to court documents obtained by Page Six on Tuesday.

James J. Leonard Jr., the family’s attorney, certified in a separate document that Joe, who has been staying in a detention center in the US since his release from prison earlier this year, “believes that his continued detention would create an extreme hardship on his family and he wishes to be released so that [he] can begin working and contributing financially to his wife and four young children.”

So, the other day, while Dorian was still obliterating The Bahamas, Beth was on the phone with The Weather Channel. I have no idea who called whom, but she was saying she was at the airport on her way to Miami (the south Fl airports were all closed at the time), and talked about her plan to go in with a sea plane and rescue people, and focusing on bringing in vital needs (water, formula, diapers). It all sounded respectable and good, until she gave a death toll of 50. The govt at the time said 5 (and this morning are still reporting only 20). They questioned her about her number, and she insisted she was right, she had been talking to people on the ground (not sure how). While I think it's great that she's using her resources and connections to bring help to people in dire situations, I think it was irresponsible for her to claim 50 dead. I don't doubt that 50 or more people lost their lives during this horrific storm, but it's not her place to "correct" the government announcements. It just rubbed me the wrong way. There's enough actual devastation without people having to try to make it sound more dramatic or like they have an inside scoop that the officials don't know about.

ok, sorry for the rant, stepping off my soapbox.

Maybe the government said 5 and one of her interns added a zero with a sharpie....

But in all seriousness, I agree with you. Wasn't her place to report on numbers without having official info.

  9. This is B at her best. I love that she does the crisis work and I don't care how she promotes it or promotes herself doing it. Also because she puts so much of herself out there, in this case it works - she's out there in the trenches and shows a transparency those who follow her have come to see -- so I think it's easier for her to get a lot of donations. Similar to JJ Watt after Hurricane Harvey -- people want to give but they want to trust and see it's going where they think. And I think this is a great use of B's skills and presence and helping people, or doing things for a greater good. This is so much of a better use of time and energy than stupid catfights on reality tv. The devastation in the Bahamas is awful to see and I'm glad she's doing whatever she does to get supplies there. If doing her stories and updates helps bring in money and create trust, instagram away.

And please send good vibes for us in Charleston too -- let's hope B doesn't need to end up here.

    Looks super upscale and expen$ive!

You know, it's definitely an awesome facility, but the vibe there is so down to earth, very friendly and cool. It is pretty comparably priced to any boutique type group fitness studios, similar rates to an orange theory. The coaches there are all really cool and nice. And good!! I think it looks more fancy than it actually is -- it definitely has an inclusive feel, you see all body types and fitness levels. I feel from the piece it looks kind "celebrity-y" but in reality it's just a really cool group fitness studio with good people. Most of us were orangetheory diehards who followed all our favorite coaches when they went over there. It's so hard you are literally just trying not to die and not looking at anyone else so I don't even really notice her when she's in class!

  11. This is all so confusing to me! Also, do we know who actually initiated the divorce -- I really can't remember. Usually the person who initiates it is the one who wants to get it finalized and move on! Who served who in this case, do we know?

In my personal experience, the actual divorce/dissolution of marriage was finalized very quickly. Child custody issues/decree of enforcement were also settled by a judge. Now the financial part - a total shit show, particularly in a community property state, that took over NINE years before a settlement was reached - right before a trial was finally set to begin. That's longer than the actual marriage lasted.  But the marriage was legally over years before and both parties were free to re-marry, etc, even though the financial part/property/assets was still not legally settled. I'm not an attorney, but I'm really confused why a legal divorce could not be granted, even if property/financial disputes/settlements were still at play/frozen/delayed in the legal process. The biggest joke of all is that who really wins is the lawyers collecting all the fees.

I don’t understand how they can still be married. You can get divorced before child custody is sorted out. The divorce is about finances between the parents/partners and doesn’t include child support, which is for the child. What outstanding property and monetary issues (aside from child support) do they have?

I don't get this either. You can also be legally divorced, with the child custody part settled, and still not have the financial settlement/community property sorted out for many years. But you are not legally married. Don't ask me how I know.

  13. Bethenny Frankel quit ‘Real Housewives of New York’ over money

    https://pagesix.com/2019/08/26/bethenny-frankel-quit-real-housewives-of-new-york-over-money/?_ga=2.30740668.263081656.1560300211-1292344417.1555990657

Can't really blame her for leaving or retiring or doing whatever she wants. She doesn't need the money, she should do what makes her happy. I just think she's lame how enormous her ego has gotten and the immediate press around her leaving the show. Who does she think she is, Andrew Luck or something? 😉
