  1. That Freddy character was so obnoxious and completely miscast (I didn't for one second buy that he was a man - note to Hollywood, don't cast nonbinary actors to play cisgendered characters...) that I was very relieved when he was killed off.
  2. Did anyone else find it insanely bizarre that Susanne's mother just went to bed after hearing that her daughter was dead and then only called Scott back after getting a good night's sleep? I couldn't get over that.
  3. He's way up there, but there are so many others too (Simon is my personal favorite...)
  4. Oh my God this season is just unbearable. The casting is brutal - I hate everyone. Jeff is obnoxious. The challenges are boring. The episodes are way too long. Hey Liz - don't expect us to feel sorry for you - you're the dumbass that can't eat ANYTHING besides beef apparently and decided to go on Survivor. I just finished binging all the Australian Survivor seasons and OH. MY. GOD. the difference is night and day - the people seem like real people not AI human impersonators (and as an added bonus - there are always lots of hot dudes like US Survivor used to have), JLP (the host) is charming and doesn't take everything so seriously, there's actual humor, the challenges get switched up. CBS either needs to completely fire everyone involved with the new era and start over or just cancel this turd and put us out of our misery.
  5. Dear God this is hands down the worst season of Survivor I've ever seen. What is going on??? I hate all of these players, and I'm simultaneously annoyed/bored to tears. Thank God Australian Survivor exists - it continues to excel in the casting department and though it sometimes adds too many twists, it is infinitely more entertaining than this steaming pile of garbage. Having recently binged like 30 seasons, it's even more apparent how bad 46 is since it was only a few months ago that I was watching all time great seasons.
  6. Woof. Who can I sue for having lost 7 hours of my life watching this steaming pile of garbage?! I’ve been harmed and I’m entitled to compensation! It should be a crime to make a show this bad AND this boring. If you’re going to be bad, then be fun - and if you’re going to be dull, then it better have some meaning or teach me something. This was perhaps the least enjoyable seven hours I’ve ever spent watching TV. I’m so mad at myself for not quitting three episodes ago but I couldn’t believe how much worse it could get. All. That. Talking. About. Nothing. Please, FX, in the name of all that is holy, cancel this turd - don’t prolong the misery. And whoever said Jeff’s weird way of talking as if he had no teeth bothered them - I could not agree more. I thought he was awful in this.
  7. See Kayla is my absolute favorite part of the show. Everything she does cracks me up.
  8. I find Cal smug, obnoxious and self-righteous, and I hope this character moves away forever.
  9. Unpopular opinion - I’m sort of enjoying Hope. At least as compared to Cal the non-binary student who I find to be a total cliche and obnoxiously insufferable. Aside from Adam, Maeve and Otis, I don’t really like any of these little twats and I’m sort of enjoying watching Hope try to put them in their place (though I know the writers will eventually have the students prevail because they’re the “good guys”).
  10. I love Will Arnett and most of the guest actors, but thought this was maybe the worst “comedy” I’ve ever seen. Dumb at best, painfully awkward at worst.
  11. One thing I will never understand - how come student loans are basically never mentioned in TV shows when characters are trying to find ways to pay for college? I get not wanting to take them out, but they are an option.
  12. COMPLETELY agree. And this isn't a "times were different then" thing - rape has always been rape.
  13. Yeah I would certainly agree Bill’s opponents were primarily motivated by taking him down rather than helping women, but I think part of the motivation to take him down had to be a desire to “right” all of his wrongs against women.
  14. Just because I think she's ultimately a good person doesn't mean I think she didn't do anything wrong.
  15. "Something else to nail him with"?? I'm sorry, but if you rape/assault/harass/use/gaslight woman after woman for years and have the gall to run for the highest office in the land, I really have zero sympathy if your political opponents look to take you down for your reprehensible behavior. I don't deny that the attacks against Clinton were politically motivated, but there's also no denying he's a disgusting POS who preys on women and, until very recently, largely go away with it (even by self-described feminists) simply because he's likable or better than the political alternative. Yes, Monica made mistakes, but he 100% sexually harassed her and used his position of power to use her and then cast her aside. While there's less proof about the Broderick case, it has every calling card of a legitimate claim of assault - just look at the number of contemporaneous accounts of her injuries and how many people she confided in about it before deciding it wasn't worth crossing the Clintons and coming forward with her allegations. All in all, I really enjoyed the show - I felt sympathy for almost all players involved not named Clinton - Paula Jones most of all. As for Linda Tripp, I found Sarah Paulson's portrayal very intriguing - yes, much of what she did was selfish and awful, but this show I think did a great job of showing her as a real person - very flawed, with poor judgment, but ultimately a good person (in my opinion).
