  1. Enjoyed the movie quite a bit. Took a novice with me who also enjoyed the movie (quite a bit) without ever having seen the series, or known the characters and their history. I've always been enthralled by Fellowes ability to expertly string along multiple storylines and the enthralling interactions of googobs of characters. The characters deliver. Fellowes delivers. The movie delivers. Welcome Back Downton Abbey!
  2. Son of Coul is the reason I came aboard. Son of Coul is the reason I stay. Also, I’m a huge fan of the rest of the cast…particularly Fitz-Simmons; but excluding Skye/Daisy/Quake/Whatever—just never could warm up to the character(s); almost left the show when it started focusing so much on her. In addition to a great cast, this show has had some stellar guest stars—with my favorite being Bill Paxton’s turn as John Garrett. I especially like that so many guest stars have recurring storylines and are not all just one-episode-wonders. Biggest Challenge: Putting up with Deke (the character is annoying in any timeline). Biggest Regret: Lost of Ward (both the switch and the death).
  3. Howdy. I'm newish. I'm a Mark Twain fan. "Do the right thing. It will gratify some people and astonish the rest." Mark Twain
  4. Three women hitchhikers are standing on the side of the highway holding signs showing their destinations. How can you tell that one of them is a prostitute? Because she has a sign that reads: Idaho.
  5. "In my spot." It just popped out one day when a co-worker pilfered “my” parking spot. Now, I used it all the time.
  6. I'm torn between Amy's "Besties Painting" for Penny and Howard's "Robot Arm".
  7. Yeah. What was it--like a total of 7 other channels?

  9. Reminds me of what she said to her staff about still being able to fit into her high school jeans.

  11. Leonard slapping Sheldon--proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.
  12. I think so too. I also think that Beverly had an epiphany. That’s an explanation that fits. An epiphany is one sure thing that will bring someone to instant awareness and cause an immediate change in them. It’s like a total “cleanse”; except not for the body—but, for the "soul".

  14. So much togetherness...plus: Leonard, Sheldon, Howard, Raj, and Amy are all colleagues. Penny and Bernie work together. Leonard, Howard and Sheldon share a patent. Stuart’s Comic Book Store is each guy's favorite watering hole. Sheldon and Amy live across the hall from Leonard and Penny. Raj is Godfather to Howard and Bernie’s kids. Stuart lives with (and sits for) Howard and Bernie. Sheldon’s relationship with Leonard’s mom is more congenial than Leonard’s. In the real world, all this personal and professional blending would have made people tired of looking-at-each-other; long time.
