  1. If Roscoe's last name is indeed Plunkett, then maybe Baxter's last name was Roscoe and he was given Christy's last name so he wouldn't be "Roscoe Roscoe" LOL. Also it might depend on if Roscoe was born BEFORE or AFTER Christy married Baxter. Before it would make a lot of sense since children who are born out of wedlock sometimes have their mother's name. Violet said Baxter was her stepfather for 6 years and the wedding video Bonnie showed Adam said that Christy and Baxter got married in 2004. Blake Garrett Rosenthal was also born in 2004 but Roscoe could be a year or two older. Speculating is fun.
  2. Regarding the kids again. I don't bind that they aren't on the show, but I would at least like them to mention Roscoe every handful of episodes. Even once a season would suffice! Also, I really wanna know what Baxter and Roscoe's last name is, for some reason I always fanwanked that it was Hoagland.
  3. Chuck Lorre has politely requested that we don't bring them up. When we refused, he made Violet disown Christy and big Bonnie up as someone who was the voice of sanity for her when Bonnie was as bad, if not worse as Christy. If we keep bringing them up, he'll make Roscoe say he hates Christy, doesn't want to be involved and to let the Big Red Turd adopt him and be his mother since she is 100x better.
  4. I'm not saying that Christy can't backslide. I'm saying that she doesn't have to be made to be a reprobate and unlikable during it. That is what I was trying to get at. I think they are purposely writing her like this for some reason. If it was just Christy about to have a relapse, it would have been different.
  5. Why is it that ever since somewhere around season 5 or season 6 that it seems that Bonnie seems to be growing more and more as a character while Christy seems to be regressing in leaps and bounds? I just don’t get it as I really was looking forward to seeing Christy improve. Why can’t the show have both Bonnie and Christy become stronger without one having to backslide? I really don’t get it and it does kind of annoy me a whole lot since I see the both of them as main characters. Do they like Allison Janney a whole lot better for some reason and don’t want her to be outshined? Or did Anna Faris do something to piss off Chuck Lorre? If she did, I suppose it could be worse as he hasn’t piano’d her yet.
  6. I'm one of the people who DON'T want the show to forget about the children Christy has and I hope that eventually we do see them again even if it is in the final season. I would like to see Violet decide to try giving a relationship with Christy a try and to see how Roscoe is doing. Or even if they just MENTION them so it isn't like they vanished into the ether I will be fine.
  7. If I was Bonnie, I would be PISSED that Violet didn't at least tell her congratulations or something which because the show forgets about the BOTH of them, we can assume happened. I'm half-expecting a scene next season where they say that Roscoe doesn't want anything to do with Christy either.
  8. As for not mentioning what has been going on with Roscoe, considering the fact that Chuck Lorre has said that he wants to move away from the kids and he is very mean-spirited, I could see Candace sending Roscoe off to a fancy boarding school and him just forgetting about his mother and not bothering to contact her. Only because the show seems SO desperate to make Christy look like a shitty mother who has never ever changed while Bonnie seemed to be perfect with a few mistakes. I wonder if the show even remembers that Christy has a granddaughter.
  9. I honestly don't think that will ever happen as Chuck Lorre seems to want to forget that Christy ever had kids. When people complained about not seeing Violet and Roscoe, he gave us an episode in which Violet basically said she didn't want her mother in her life and wouldn't care if she fell off the face of the earth.
  10. Funny how Christy can't blame Bonnie for her crappy childhood but Violet can blame Christy and even say that Bonnie is her life preserver. Makes me want to punch Violet in the face.
  11. I have to wonder when Christy takes her slip will the ladies be as kind and gentle with her as they were with Bonnie? Or are we gonna continue the "dump on Christy" narrative?
  12. Which of course, given how Chuck Lorre likes to IGNORE the fact that Christy had children and pretend that all she has is her mother and the others when that shouldn't be true, could possibly be true. One of the last times we saw Roscoe was I believe a Christmas episode where he seemed happier with Candace and him, Baxter and her were all wearing the same Christmas sweater giving off the impression that they were the perfect family and Christy didn't even come close.
  13. Posting to say that after the episode with Christy and Violet, I knew it wasn't gonna happen either. They wouldn't want to write Violet and Christy having to deal with each other during the wedding or Violet not showing up for her "life preserver's" wedding so no way was it gonna be a big family affair and we would see Violet and Roscoe because they just don't want to write for her children anymore. This also means that they don't have to talk about them and can continue pretending that they don't exist or only bring them out to dump on Christy some more.
  14. Is it me or does it seem like Christy's downward spiral started to begin when her bitch of a daughter blamed her for all of her problems in her life and went on about how screwed up she was and never gave her credit for cleaning up her life and never wanted to see her again or have anything to do with her? At least to me that is what it looks like and it keeps getting worse. I know that they won't acknowledge it but I wonder if that is why Christy is beginning to become more selfish and self-centered. Either way, Christy DOES need therapy and someone who can help her with her issues with a therapist that is blunt but not rude. I can see a relapse happening when it all comes to a head. Somebody needs to suggest this to her. Make her see that even if life knocks her back, she can't become self-absorbed and not care about anything to fight back against it.
  15. This episode sort of just felt like something that they did so they could dump on Christy even more. I’m not defending the fact that Christy was a giant screw-up when she was younger as Violet was growing up. However throughout the episode it just looked like Violet was trying to pick a fight and tear down her mother even more while she was trying to make amends. Like she was doing everything in her power to tell her mother that she didn’t forgive her, didn’t appreciated her and never wanted to see her again and that she would always be a screw-up. If Violet act least acted CIVIL to Christy I wouldn’t have been complaining as much but she was trying to start something. The podcast wasn’t only just about her letting off steam and trying to heal from her disastrous childhood, it was also about humiliating and shaming Christy as Violet gave her a big middle finger. Sorry. But if she doesn’t want to have anything to do with Christy, then that is fine. But she doesn’t get to make her sound like she never improved her life and harp on all of her failures. Let’s not forget that Violet is just as screwed up Christy is. She only got back together with Luke because he was making an enormous amount of money. I guess this is Chuck Lorre’s way of also say “Stop complaining about the kids not being on anymore. They won’t be on again. Now shut up about it.” As for Roscoe, since the episode about Violet was all about the ritual humiliation of Christy, I wouldn’t be surprised if Roscoe decided he liked Candace better as a mom, cut all ties with Christy and then Candace has her parental rights terminated and then rubs it in her face that she is still a failure as none of her kids want anything to do with her.
