  1. Full disclosure, this case has been playing out for the past week 10 miles from my home and it's making my blood boil. https://www.dailyherald.com/news/20190425/5-million-bond-each-for-parents-in-crystal-lake-sons-slaying Every single adult that should have had this little boy's back failed him and I'm outraged at the freak, junkie parents and the system that permitted it all to happen. I'm so angry I can barely contain myself. Either I've made a point by now or I haven't. So now I'll shut up about the stupid mom and her stupid decision to let teenagers care for her small child that resulted in a kid having her face used as a chew toy and not a "scrape" or "disappointment".
  2. Would you have allowed it? Split between the parent/legal guardian and a group of penniless teenagers? Who's going to pick up the defendant's portion? Perhaps JJ's reasoning is that under no circumstances is the mother entitled to a dime of the show's purse. That being the case, I concur. There is a canyon of difference between a "hover-parent" and responsible parenting. My children are in their 30's today and endured their fair share of scrapes and blood loss without anyone being prosecuted or any litigation. Neither of us hovered, and still there's no way I would have permitted the weekend care of my 5-6 year old to a band of 17 year olds. Frankly, neither would my parents and they pretty much let us juggle knives.
  3. The teenage stepsister was the only one (other than the victim) that I had any empathy for. Clearly she understood the gravity of the situation and showed the requisite amount of remorse and shame. It's pretty clear that nobody else in this sad episode learned anything. "The little girl provoked the dog" You mean the same little girl with the probable life long scars on her face and psyche from your dog? Fuck you turd.
  4. I’m not sure how any parent could not come to the same conclusion that JJ did. The facts are undisputed and speak for themselves. The mother of the little girl allowed her small child to be cared for by a bunch of teenagers living alone and together; for an entire weekend. I don’t know a single parent that would ever allow that to happen. EVER. As a result the little girl was injured. Thankfully she didn’t drink poison, spill hot grease on herself or fall down a flight of stairs. Those teenagers were completely unsuited to supervise a child. The mother of the defendant was immediately excused because she had zero involvement. So what you’re left with is a 17 year old half wit defendant with zero financial resources who, as a minor, may have no legal responsibility at all. Sure, an adult homeowner in this case should be responsible. But the mother’s actions were absolutely egregious and frankly she deserved some sort of punishment. If any of us fail to properly care for our children there are consequences; financial and sometimes legal. And this mother, the only adult involved, failed to exercise proper care for her child. Let her pay her own medical expenses and figure out how she will possibly ever make amends with her little girl.
  5. There’s nothing like the good feeling that comes from someone understanding your obscure reference!
  6. “Fractured Jaw at the Rodeo” or “Brokeback Mountain 2: Where Did The Love Go?”
  7. Also in the plaintiff Q&A: “Did you and the boyfriend date?” “No. We had intercourse a couple of times.” Skinny Pete and Large Marge: stupid friends with gross benefits. PS, I need to stop watching these eps before dinner. 🤢
  8. More and more I’m becoming terrified for the men and women who have to work on roadsides with lanes filled with drunks day and night along with cell phone handlers. Here in the Chicago area 3 state troopers have been killed in 2019; two in a 7 day period last month. Two men and a woman. All were parents. All of the drivers were shit faced. Parking lots are becoming almost as bad.
  9. I wish there was an option to turn them off. They're like a car wreck on the expressway; you don't want to look and know you shouldn't. But you can't help sneaking a peek.
  10. I don't know about the rest of you folks, but I can no longer read the comments at the bottom of a news article without wanting to pull my hair out. Rarely, and I mean RARELY there is a cogent comment from an informed person with something of some value to share. The other 97% are infuriating, mindless remarks/rants by idiotic trolls with little or no idea of how the world works. For this reason and this reason only, I prefer the old fashioned newspapers.
  11. Zero satisfaction in this case. If JJ wasn’t sympathetic to the plaintiff the case would have ended in record time. The plaintiff owns the debt and the defendant owns the car. It was a idiotic arrangement for the plaintiff and there’s nothing that JJ can do. That horrible woman had a lie for everything and a sadistic smirk to top it all off. It’s a testament to self deception that she’s willing to put that persona out there to millions of TV viewers. Crawl back to the hell hole you came from. My only question is whether or not the defendant was deliberately obtuse when she failed to understand that 30’ lead leaves her pit bull out of her control. “Don’t stick you hand into a dog fight” is her hallterview advice to all of us. Better to let your vicious animal kill my pet or my child. Bitch.
  12. I loved that moment. She must have repeated herself 8 times and the slack jawed fool had 0 idea how that could happen. While on the topic of dog attacks, nothing makes me want to kick a TV (or my real life) person in the nuts more than when they say that the offending dog "was just playing".
  13. I’m a proud lifelong capitalist who’s lived well profiting at the service of others and I’ll shout from the rooftops that these predators who suck the blood from the unsophisticated poor are a fu*cking pestilence.
  14. It’s hard to imagine that a tax preparer could submit information to the IRS without the taxpayer’s consent, particularly after the return had been filed. Last week I had to jump through security hoops just to email my authorization to our accountant to e-file our return. Her counter suit for “harassment” is a farce. If there was even the slightest whiff of a crime on the preparer’s part I’d engage the authorities and harass that spiteful bitch the likes of which would astonish her.
  15. Both she and her daddy are brainless twits. Twit Daddy: "If I buy a car and it doesn't work, I take it back" Car Dealer: "Take your car home sir. You bought it. It's yours. Drive safely. Ba Bye"
  16. I also see a woman who clearly has a drinking problem. I wasn’t in the room in Costa Rica but smart money says she gave as good as she got. And it’s pretty clear the judge in the protective order trial saw it that way also. A quick look at her Facebook page shows she’s aged a ton in the past few years. 🍸🍸 As a flight attendant from SWA she claims to be hit on by passengers and pilots “all the time”. I’ll also wager that those hits have fallen off in recent years.
  17. “Adultery and Assault?!” If Bob Dylan and Art Garfunkel had a love child it would look like the insipid and uber annoying, lying Keith Schneider. Mr. Schneider, who’s ultra cool facade is betrayed by the huge baloney slices under his pits.
  18. The women here may or may not understand, but men like Mr. Pearl sometimes deserve a little beating and zero compensation for that. He’s a scummy used car hustler who sells half repaired pieces of car shit to unsuspecting buyers while simultaneously screwing and bullying a couple of shop owners. The rough stuff he received is what the universe said he deserved. The same holds true for the little dog owner man who had his tooth chipped by the flashlight biddy. The Rolling Stones said it best “You can’t always get what you want; you get what you need”.
  19. The 10 year old BMW POS with lots of warning lights and “glitches”. Entire case was a waste of everyone’s time, including mine. Another case that needn't be. The defendant is a shifty slime ball, but he did drop a huge tree and caused some minor damage. For starters, at $1500 he grossly under charged for that job. A tree that big would cost at least double that where I come from. Second, his insurance (that he probably doesn’t have) should have covered the minor damage. The plaintiff did a fairly good job with the tree but he’s is a liar and a terrible business operator. Yep. And I liked her up until that moment.
  20. “Locked and Loaded Neighborhood Patrol?!” I had almost forgotten how much I despise the obtuse, gun toting Richard Gorman, Jr. and his smug, contradictory, insipid face. I’d give my house away before I’d spend a day as his neighbor.
  21. Super dangerous, predatory man who has probably has violence encoded in his DNA. It's hard to imagine that he can be rehabilitated and the world is a safer pace with him behind bars. Both of these guys were tough to take, but anybody who would paint sprinkler heads is a special sort of stupid.
  22. What was up with the plaintiff’s eyes? I thought I was watching a bunny with conjunctivitis.
  23. My God. That is one seriously dangerous predator and one incredibly bad ass 20 year old female.
  24. A word of advice for the moms and dads suing their sons and daughters. The advice also applies to their spouse/domestic partners. They also pick your nursing home, by the way.
  25. Doesn’t everyone have a a folder of nude and semi nude pictures of their partner on their phone for occasions when it’s necessary to defend his or her honor? I certainly do. It. Was. An INVESTMENT. Clearly. Nowhere in the testimony was it described as a loan. There was no mention of interest. The fabulous bullshit return was ROI. Mr. Slick Lawyer Dumbass need to understand the difference between and partner/invester and a creditor.
