  1. Using the logic that's being applied to me, it really looks like Aquarian1 is a villain.  He/she was very active as the game was being set up, but once people started looking for clues Aquarian1 didn't put forward any clues but instead jumped on DL's to help get rid of other players.  Wouldn't a hero be helping to find clues at least occasionally rather than primarily helping to assure a the loss of a character/person?

Aquarian1 came up as a potential DL and was dropped not because he/she was cleared but because another candidate gained momentum.

Aquarian1 still has to be seriously considered as a villain.

I've run through the past and I think I have a bead on something actionable.

Looking at the votes for all the DL attempts on both Day 2 and 3, I noted that none of our known/deceased Villains voted on Day 2, but one did on Day 3; Machia.

However, I also note that terrymct voted in both DLs on Day 3, but in neither on Day 2.  And at the beginning of Day 3, terry pointed a finger at Deadpool, who was the one that started the successful DL on peach.  That got lost when the votes swung my direction and later onto festivus.

Looking even closer, terry was the only person not to post on Day 1, so was the source of the Anonymous vote Spruce cast for peach.  They did comment on Day 2, but they were nothing posts; one about needing to watch the movie, then a joke about jumping into the water to defend yourself, when peach was being called on to defend themself.  There were more productive posts on Day 3; the aforementioned pointing at Deadpool, and agreeing to both DLs.  But there were also a couple of comments about mixing up the game profile (for clues) with a generic board profile.  Genuine confusion, or obfuscation?  (Or both...could be both.)

Call it a gut feeling, but I think this is the right course to steer:

1 to DL terrymct (SVNBob) 5 to draw the Black Spot.

That’s because I’m new to this and just figuring out how and when to vote.   I didn’t post on day 1 because I forgot where this thread was and when I found it, it was too late.

I am openly and sadly still the village idiot.  Lol.  Improving slightly over time, I hope.

Greg err Gregory(Nicholas Braun) is 6'5". Tom(Matther Macfayden) is 6'3" and Logan(Brian Cox) is 5'9"

I googled a bit and there are mentions tha 5’9 might be a bit inflated.

Speaking of Tom, he looked so happy when Shiv was upset that he was talking to another woman, he was practically glowing!

He really needed something to bolster his ego after what's been happening to and around him this season thus far.

I was really struck by the difference in height between Logan, Greg, and Tom in the scene where Logan sees his archenemy in that mingling area of the resort.  Brian Cox isn't tall, but those two looked like giants beside him.

I really thought Shiv was going after Logan because it would help push the Pearce deal through. I figured she would explain it to him after. So is she really just in this for what she can get, Logan be damned? Does she think Logan is losing it and is moving on? Hmmm.

I think Logan would have seen it as a PR ploy under other circumstances.  Logan, though, it's at his raggedy end of his rope.  Not only is the company seriously threatened, but he's worried about being pushed out.  Shiv's statement was probably the right sort of thing that needed to be said to maintain the Pierce deal, it was exactly the wrong thing for her father's fragile mental condition.

On the stage, Roman showed that he's not fit for any sort of public role in the company even if he some how convinces Jerry to have him as a puppet CEO.   Kendall fell into standard corporate damage control speak and he wasn't convincing about it in the least.  Shiv's experience is with politics where a candidate can change his or her approach on the fly.  She was using her skills but badly misunderstood her father's worries.

Did you notice the crowd for Tom's talk.  Barely attended and the number start increasing as he wraps up and gets ready to hand the stage off to the family.  Everyone knows he's a lightweight with nothing to say.  He proved it by giving a typical TED talk, platitudes wrapped in that distinctive style of talking while walking in front of a screen.    Shiv needs him as a loyal pet to prop up her ego.

I'll respectfully disagree. I think she needed to think outside the box more-- I mean she was going into ticky tacky stores-- maybe go into a grocery or hardware-type store and be inspired. Though I also think Hannah would have done well to give some ideas. So in that sense, it does come back on her head.

How about the marine supply place that should be right there near the marina?  One of the tablescapes Sandy showed was made primarily of rope.  Get some nautical do-dads from the marine supply place like pulleys and line.  Arrange on crumpled fabric with flowers and fruit.  You got a tablescape that fits the atmosphere of a boat.

I don't think you're quite understanding what Drogo means.  He means under the player profiles in this game where you answer questions about yourself. I believe though that you're not supposed to update it during the game, so maybe you have to wait until this game is over.

Oh!   I was totally off base.  Sorry about that.

I’m completely outing myself as the character called The Village Idiot.  Lol

Not trying to mafiasplain here, but since the introduction of profiles typically all the clues come from there (so we can avoid all horses meaning me and all trees meaning @The Crazed Spruce.)  The exception would be if you were a villain, since I believe you're the only player this round who doesn't have a profile.

I do agree that razor-sharp intellect was an interesting choice; it reminds me of The Princess Bride's famous Battle of Wits scene.

Two of our players have TPB as their favorite film - SVNBob who I had on my trust list based on what I thought were hints (but he's since said they weren't) and Machiabelly. Neither was on the Peach DL.

I don’t have a profile because it didn’t  occurred to me to make one when I migrated over from previouslyTV.    I suspect I didn’t have one there or on Television Without Pity either.  I’ll make one though.

My first attempt at finding a clue was of mixed success.  Lol

Hey, cheers to all of you who have been calling for cloches for the plates!

Hannah and Anastasia both complaining that the food won’t fit under it, then Ben pointing out that he can arrange the food to fit.  Both those women are nitwits.  Lol

Sandy's ten minute addiction counseling isn’t going to inspire Travis to change his ways no matter what he says in a talking head.

And she, throughout this whole two day event, made many gaffes and mistakes. As did they all, except for Kendall (who was just mostly awkward, but still kept it together, other then the pooping the bed thing).

Shiv's making the uncomfortable transition from being the power behind the throne to be actual power.   It's easier to be flippant when you're watching events from backstage than it is to be on the stage.

Of course, Shivs real fuck up was prematurely telling everyone that she is getting the keys to the kingdom. I actually gasped when she dropped that one! I knew that her arrogance would cause problems for her, but that is a serious blunder, she will be lucky if Logan lets her be an unpaid intern after that.

I think Logan doesn't want to give up control and doesn't want to be seen as being put out to pasture.  He wants Shiv as a successor but not for a long long time and completely on his terms.

@smartymarty  Obviously Tom is a bully.  We have seen that since his earliest scenes with Greg.  My point is that using employees as human footstools and throwing full water bottles is so extreme it is hard to believe; Tom has become a caricature.

I think it’s a sign that Tom is at a breaking point related to Shiv and how she treats him and the treatment he gets at work.  He's can’t lash out at Shiv or Logan so it spews out in inappropriate ways and at convenient targets.

Although, how did the Captain, who is not a bad engineer himself not know there was water all through the fuel lines?

That was exactly my thought.  Why didn't Jake or the former engineer notice?
