Agreed. I do think Letitia has improved from the first movie, and to her credit she had a much heavier lift here than she or anyone else could have expected when the movie was first being conceptualized. But she's still the weakest actor of the main cast by far in my opinion, and it's not a great thing when your lead is being outperformed by everyone she shares a scene with, possibly including the actress playing her Talokan handmaiden.
Angela Bassett, Lupita N'yongo, and Tenoch Huerta were all electrifying. Danai Gurira and Winston Duke surprisingly were not, shortfallings I blame on the script as both have proven themselves in all their prior performances. And I really liked Dominique Thorne despite caring not one whit for Riri Williams in the comics. This movie dispelled my apathy about her upcoming Disney+ series, now I'm looking forward to it.

Yeah, the show's origin was being great entertainment (and infotainment) for the price of change found under the couch cushions. Given how slick the 2000s reincarnation of the production has been on the BBC budget, I'm not sure throwing truckfulls of cash at it will necessarily improve it. Though, to be fair, Disney has been putting out some excellent shows of its own with the Star Wars and MCU franchises.

Ozempic® is the one whose jingle/theme earworms me by proxy frequently, though I suppose if you're going to have a song running endlessly in your head there are worse options than one by Pilot.

Would River Song count as a companion? She debuted under Davies' tenure before becoming a fixture in Moffat's, albeit in a story Moffat wrote.

Yeah, I distinctly remember a story where Ben Grimm visited the Marvel Comics offices to complain about how they were adapting the Fantastic Four's real-life adventures into fictionalized accounts for public consumption. John Byrne even wrote himself (or rather the Marvel Universe version of himself who was currently adapting the FF comic) into one of the FF stories as a character.
Byrne was a proponent of meta winks well before he took a sledgehammer to the Fourth Wall in his She-Hulk series.

In my head, seeing the Doctor regenerate into an entirely different person, this one insane and hell-bent on mayhem (yet oddly seeming to retain some of Thirteen's fondness for Yaz and desire for companionship) was probably what convinced Yaz to go. Whomever the Doctor regenerates into, it won't be exactly the same person she fell in love with, and having personally experienced the worst case scenario of that she doesn't want to stick around and see their relationship changed by unavoidable circumstances.

We know that he watched Sasappis when he was still alive, so he's probably fairly familiar with the Lenape in general.

Flower has probably had a LOT more experience compensating for being stoned to remain somewhat functional than any of the other characters on the show. Or any potential future characters unless someone from Fleetwood Mac guest stars.

Yeah, Ellen Ripley is my favorite action hero bar none, and Cameron should get his proper respect for delivering her to us in that form. But he doesn't have a trademark on the idea of strong, smart female characters. And I don't recall him creating any good examples in the current century.

I think they missed a chance at a good joke by not having Bobby exclaim "Who is this guy? Batman?" after Aaron kept disappearing every time he looked away during their initial meeting at the club.

I'm pretty sure everything from the Doctor's initial glow to Tennant's reappearance would fit within the time span of Capaldi's interminable speech to his future incarnation, and if memory serves he'd been holding the regeneration at bay since the end of the previous episode.

Oh I really liked it too. But it had characters crossing from one world to others, e.g. a world where it's always Halloween, a world where it's always Christmas, etc. He's actually featured a multiverse in all but name in his best movie!

Dr. Fate has been my favorite superhero for decades, so it was a very unexpected treat to see him rendered in live action by one of my favorite actors, whose performance was the best in the movie for me. Aldis Hodge was also good as Hawkman, and Sarah Shahi as Isis. I liked Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone and thought the visuals for her power were great, though she and Centineo didn't play that important a role in the narrative.
As for Mr. The Rock as Black Adam, meh. Wasn't impressed by the performance, and I've always wondered what people see in the character. Though I am grateful for the mid-credits scene, which I believe he's been pushing for within Warner Bros. for ages.

She's been pretty casual about it, having sex with Arthur after an abbreviated first date and with Matt before they'd dated at all. But the important thing is that there's nothing wrong with that, it's a perfectly valid way for Jen to choose to live her life.

I'm torn between thinking "Sam Elliott is right there!" and not wanting his performance to be associated with a character who's leaned too far into being an authoritarian asshole since the MCU started up. Ford may be the better actor to play Ross as he's been depicted in the Avengers movies.

Yeah, T-rexes are about the size of an African elephant. There are actually commercially-available personal firearms that can take care of that sort of game if you can shoot steady while soiling yourself. The mososaurus would be a bigger problem, but there's only one of it (and packs of orcas have hunted and killed blue whales, so it's not guaranteed to become king of the seas). These are just large predatory animals, not Godzilla-style kaiju. The mutant locusts would be the much bigger threat, because they breed quickly and devastate crops.
