Honestly I wish they could even show more drama among the women. But I know they have to act like they all love each other on camera. At the same time they show things like Madeline being talked to for moving lockers and then don't give us the full story.

Yes, and that's bad! Would the cheerleaders fighting against sexual harassment somehow negatively affect other women facing harassment? These arguments don't make sense to me so I'm not going to respond on this topic any more today. I'll just say I wish the cheerleaders had a union! 🙂

If they made those statements while on the team, they would obviously be kicked off. They are passionate about dance and cheerleading and want to be on this famous and iconic team. Why blame the cheerleaders for their bad conditions? Why wouldn't you blame the people who made these conditions in the first place? Do you want the team to be all women who come from wealthy families and women who are willing to starve themselves and face harassment? No.

I don't think numbers matter. What impresses me is when so many auditioning are former captains of college teams or from NBA and NFL squads

Yes they are adult women making decisions, but these decisions are made within a misogynistic society. It's like when people say the cheerleaders deserve low pay because they knew they were going to be poorly paid. Just because they signed up for the dance team doesn't mean they can't fight for better conditions. Obviously I am a fan of the team and like to see them on social media. The women are clearly passionate about dancing and cheerleading so I hope the DCC could continue, but I also hope they are treated with respect through pay and without facing sexual harassment.

Respectfully, no way! I consider Kelsey to be legendary in terms of being photogenic/looking amazing on camera. But I think Taylor has achieved a nice healthy thin look and not gone too extreme. As for Hannah, she didn't stand out to me in this group of rookies. But I think if she stays a few more years she might become one of my faves based on looks and personality. I think her look is more like a model and maybe not best enhanced in a super smiley beachy swimsuit DCC style shoot... she would be a DCC that could do a fashion editorial or something of that nature.

I think Cianna looks good and has maintained some natural curve that sadly other women have lost in pursuit of being ultra thin

I agree 🙂 And there is valid criticism of how she irresponsibly she reacted to the offer of Jinelle's help, which seemed like a huge favor they would only ever offer to VK specifically. It would be nice to see K&J actually tell someone to gain weight instead of only ever tell people to lose weight, even when women are getting scary skinny.

It is totally unfair for the standards to be different for VK. However, we are also seeing some worryingly thin women on the team so let's not make too much fun of VK's diet and specific foods she eats.

I was already very worried about Gina and now I am so sad to see these pics of Daphne. Many of these women are beautiful, it's clear from seeing them on the show. But so many of these photos are unflattering. They post better pictures they take of themselves on instagram... I can't believe these photographers' results.

I really like Gina, but I think she looks too thin now and hope she is taking care of herself.

The original post was just about the extra time and money. So we should also talk about the vets who already live in the Dallas area, not single out rookies. The real question is would vets be punished because of their own work/personal life time commitments

Yes but those classes would definitely help them with technique and maybe more importantly, it allows the girls to ingratiate themselves with TPTB. Maybe they wouldn't say it on TV, but Kelli and Judy would definitely select someone who's been going to the alumni classes rather than someone who just showed up at auditions all things being equal. It's a brand, not just a straightforward dance team. And I think going to these classes is a way to show Kelli and Judy you can gel with the brand

I am astounded when I stop and think about the drama with Jinelle and what happened with VK. But I don't think there's any way she WON'T make the team this year
