  1. I was having the same thoughts re Jaggie breakup and and have been hoping I am wrong. I felt Maggie had chemistry with DeLuca and wish they had put them back together. I even felt she had chemistry with Dean the station 19 guy that asked her out. Koracick needs to realize Teddy is not worth it and move on. Koracick being a grade A jerk will not make me like Owen and I already root for Owen/Teddy because I think they deserve each other. I am now sold on Link/Amelia. A couple having an honest mature conversation...I probably should be wary though considering Grey's history in recent years of destroying what was once good couples.
  2. I loved the clips in chapter 99 and wished some had been longer. The finale was ok. The first 30 minutes dragged for me. One time I chuckled at Mateo's antics..unpacking Xo's stuff so she would stay. I know many people had guessed he was the narrator, but I was never certain due to some of his comments. I guess he is a true professional. Magda was not lying about the triplet. She is far far away though so Petra won't be dealing with that. I did not want JR back. The fact that Rafael talking to her is what made her seek out Petra is not a positive. She knew Petra loved her and Petra went through hoops to make it work. JR could not move past what happened. Since this was about happy endings I guess I should suspend reality here. After Rafael's insecurities reared their ugly head, the romantic gesture was nice. I loved the wedding. It was a satisfying end to the series and I will miss this show.
  3. Mixed feelings about Charlie and Michael. Charlie was so surly and I was not feeling the love even when she showed some vulnerability by admitting her concerns about Michael not being over Jane. Though you would think that would be something that is addressed before baby and marriage. Adios Rose. Louisa ending her made it even better. Esteban played Rogelio and I usually pick on things like this, but this time I was surprised. Will Xo/Ro really move to New York? It is really ridiculous that River just gets to uproot everyone. Classic River, but giving her that much power was ridiculous.
  4. I want to see this show through to the end, but these last few episodes have been lackluster. Magda showing up again was tiresome and I am glad Alba sent her packing. Speaking of Alba, her telling Jane she didn't think the book would get published was a yikes for me as to what that meant in regards to believing in Jane. I am surprised that was glossed over. Also, still do not care about Jorge. He is just there for me and everytime he interacts with the Villanuevas I do not feel a connection. Jane said he is good for Alba and I still did not care. Rose escaping was too much even for a telenovela. Only good thing is bye bye Mr. Accomplice and now I no longer have to hear Girl! as that was starting to grate my nerves.
  5. The proposal was sweet and the wedding with Mateo at the end was even moreso. However, Rafael's insecurities put a damper on everything. I think Jane has more than made it clear she chose him now and forever. I do not want to watch a repeat of the Jetra issues with Rafael and Jane so I hope he truly moves forward. Still loving Petra. She has been the voice of truth and reason with Jane and Rafael. I almost want her to wear some type of tuxedo outfit at the wedding, but it might be considered upstaging the bride. Did anyone else think she actually looked good in that green dress though? After watching this episode I think those who saw something happening between Krishna and Petra may be right.
  6. Rafael and Jane are back together and I am glad they did not drag this out with them dating other people while still making 😍 eyes at each other. Tad disappointed Krishna is plotting against Petra. However, Petra really should have been wary of her no matter how good an assistant she is. Speaking of Petra her and Jane's friendship this season has been great.
  7. Jane was wrong imposing her own views on Alba's, but I had a lot of problems Alba/Jorge. I try to keep an open mind re women who has attitude Alba has. However, I feel there is a fine line and I think Alba crossed into losing herself territory as Jane said. We saw how many things Jane salvaged from being thrown out so I question how much of Alba remained in the house. It seemed like she tossed the majority of her stuff out in favor of Jorge's. When Jane spoke to Jorge he should not have pretended like he agreed then went to Alba. He should have told Jane he did not agree and if he was not comfortable discussing it with her told her she needs to talk to her grandmother. Also I felt Alba's reaction was a bit extreme for what Jane said Jorge. Unless as I saw suggested elsewhere Alba suspected that Jane had a problem with her catering to Jorge and was really reacting to that before Jane even spoke it out loud. Jorge's behavior when Jane apologized rubbed me the wrong way. He chooses then to make suggestions to Jane about changing her behavior. His timing was a bit suspect to me and I felt a bit manipulative as he knew even if Jane did not agree she would just grin and bear it because she had already made Alba angry. Jane did need to move out. I just think they went about that and showing the fact that some women prefer the type of relationship Alba has with Jorge the wrong way. River has gone into bunny boiler territory and that just came out of the left field. I was really liking the growth between her and Rogelio as well her interactions with Xo and they have ruined it. The writers really seem bent on dismantling everything good about the show this season.
  8. After tonight, I may be done with Jafael. Jane was wrong to go behind his back, but based on his attitude I can see why she did it. His I am putting my foot down comment made me see why some people do not like him and his behavior towards Jane. I really do question what is the writer's goal. In nearly every episode this season, they have taken the characters to such an unlikable extreme that for me them being set straight before the end of the episode does not make up for it. Jetra is done and I am glad. It became abundantly clear they were never going to move past the disbarment and after last episode I got tired of their constant drama. If Luisa has gone back to Rose that would be extremely stupid and pathetic even for her so here is hoping that she is playing Rose with the intent to bring her down and get her out of their lives once and for all.
  9. I was not an Owen/Christina fan, but even I cry foul on the load of bull that Owen spewed. I liked him and Amelia at 1st but that soon became so toxic that I wanted that to end permanently. Teddy had already stomped on her relationship with Henry and her treatment of Tom shows she is no better than Owen so they deserve each other. With them together other people are spared the punishment of having them as partners. I hope Jaggie will be done, but with the way they have been handling relationships the past few seasons I shouldn't hold my breath. While Bailey had a point, I could not help but remember her past transgressions.
  10. Well this episode makes me feel a lot better about Jetra since JR is willing to put in effort 1st and only bow out if her presence just further harms the girls. Jane the stalker had me cringing. I almost couldn't even watch the full episode. Though when Rafael invited her for breakfast I too thought he was interested in trying again. Considering Jane's behavior he probably should have foresaw her reading more into it and made it clear that this was only about Mateo. Mateo is a brat. I keep seeing the possibility of him having ADHD and while it would explain his lack of focus it would not excuse his Karate chopping the cards repeatedly when he knows he should not. I am glad Xo got firm with Jane. Someone needed to reel her in. This episode left me wishing they had done a short final season. Then they could have avoided the whole Michael/Jason debacle.

    S05.E22: Legacy

I keep thinking about Barry's speed force ramblings when he got out and the fact some were shown to be about events or people (Nora) from the future. He said we are going to need more diapers then chuckles and based on that I had suspected from the beginning Nora was going to be erased. I think Iris will be pregnant and they will be shocked to find out its twins hence Barry's diapers crack. Candice Patton and Grant Gustin always bring it when given the chance and episode 22 was no exception. Cisco taking the cure was not surprising considering his attitude this season. Even if Valdes wants to leave they could have found a better way to handle it. I forgot about Singh revealing he knew. I loved how he looks square at Barry when he called him flash. Barry couldn't even form words in an attempt to deny it.
  12. The best part of the episode was Petra and Jane dancing together. Though, I am glad that Jane called Petra out on being a crappy friend. JR being ready to stand up to her friend about Petra gave me a sliver of hope that may be they can truly move past what has happened. I want them to either move past it or breakup because Petra's behavior is starting to make me cringe. She screwed up badly and she is truly trying. However, this episode made me realize that I can barely stand to watch her go to the lengths she is going through prove herself to JR and now JR's friends. Tonight confirmed what I had suspected before about Michael becoming a hybrid of Jason/Michael. It is good that Jane recognized that they had both changed. Michael responding by essentially saying he feels the same about her as before just reminds me his behavior from earlier seasons which made me not like him and Jane together. I feel that Jane despite her mixed feelings might have more clarity in this situation than he does and might be the only one to see that they are not longer compatible. I am tired of Rose aka Sin Rostro. I have been a fan of the actress since her Legend of the Seeker days, but even she cannot make me interested in what her character is up to now. It bothered me that the first thought was that Rafael had a drug problem not that he was taking pills for a legitimate reason. Though was he drinking those pills with alcohol last episode? That is usually not recommended.
  13. Well, this episode was painful. Rafael enabling Mateo's spoiled disrespectful behavior to Jane just because he was mad was just beyond pale. I give him credit for acknowledging that he was being a bad parent, but the fact that he even went there made me feel like his character just took one too many steps backward. The end narration makes me wonder if they will trash Rafael even further to ensure Jane picks Michael. IMO, that is not necessary because based on her actions, I feel like subconsciously Jane has already picked Michael. After tonight's episode, I have to wonder if it is the family unit that Jane has with Rafael that she is really trying to hold onto not necessarily Rafael himself. Before tonight's episode I felt Jane loved Rafael whole heartedly, but now I am not so sure. I felt like I was watching the earlier seasons all over again which made me wish once again that they had resisted the classic trope of bringing the dead spouse back to life. I am really surprised JR/Petra did not break up again. JR does not trust her and the disbarment will always be a reminder of Petra's lies. I think irreparable damage has been done and at some point Petra will have to wake up and face that. Some things cannot be fixed.
  14. Throughout the episode I kept thinking walk away Rafael. You have been down this road before and it did not end well. Then surely his memory comes back and he tells Jane to leave. Harsh, but I understand why. Jane had a place to go so it was not like her tossed her into the street. She is conflicted and that is understandable. I do not think at this point she is capable of making a decision either way that she would not regret. She probably should have just taken time away from both of them in order to process and figure out how to move forward. Michael feels like he is 2 people and still does not like cubanos. I think that is very important as I don't believe he will ever fully be Michael again and a new person might come about; one who is a combination of Michael & Jason. Jane loves the Michael she remembers not the person he is now. The same way Michael loves the Jane he knew 4 years ago. Once they get to know each other they might realize that they can no longer be what they were. I was never a Michael/Jane fan as some of his behavior and actions toward her bothered me. I like Jane and Rafael round 2, but Michael's return has put a blemish in it.
  15. The truth is out-Hurray! I wish Sherloque had not did it in front of Team Flash though and kept it West-Allen only. I do not normally get emotional over TV shows, but the end scenes nearly got me. The look Barry cut Nora as he walked away after locking her in the pipeline. His clear pain and conflict after she apologized and Nora breaking down. Good acting all around.
  16. I think Liz and Max has chemisty, but I was a smidge creeped out by Max's confession of love. Liz was acting so so afraid of him that I am surprised she did not turn and run for the hills. Speaking of Liz's fear, I kept expecting Max to notice especially when she snapped at him not to touch her. I am guessing his feelings has put blinders where she was concerned. Nathan Parsons sold the pain Max felt when Liz asked him if he killed Rosa. Then his extreme anguish at the end that as odd as his and Isobel's relationship seem to be, I was hoping she would at least pick up the phone to help him. Wonder how he will react when he realized Liz told Kyle his secret. Michael/Alex I also feel have chemistry, but I am already getting tired of the drama. Alex knows who Michael is clearly so he either needs to accept him or stay away completely. Did anyone else feel Maria looked a bit shifty eyed during at some points in her conversations with Liz and about Rosa and her activities. I got the feeling that she was not being completely honest either. Rosa hid Max's letter so that means she went to the rooftop after Max drove away. She was high but was apparently lucid enough to decide to hide Max's letter instead of just tossing it away or destroying it. Plus why would it anger her enough to confront Max and tell him to stay way. Unless her reaction had something to do with her connection to Isobel.
  17. Nora apologizes to Iris. Iris needed to hear it because it was clear she was still beating herself up over the person that she might become in the future. I think Future Iris though should have told Nora the truth at some point and it is clear that her over protectiveness severely stunted Nora. I should have known better, but I got my hopes up that Nora's secret would be exposed. I was disappointed Sherloque provided Nora with a plausible lie. I suppose he wants to find out her secret first before he exposes her. Cisco bothered me tonight. Ralph tricked him yes, but he was almost obsessive about getting the cure completed. I do not get his urgency. There has not been metas vocal about wanting their powers taken away. Barry wants to force to cure on Cicada which considering he is a serial killer it is understandable. Unfortunately, that speaks to the slippery slope issue surrounding this cure. If they start making exceptions to the we will only give it to people who want it, where does it end? What if someone like Cicada or a high ranking government official gets their hands on it and decides that all metas are potentially dangerous so they must be forced to take it. Grace was traumatized, but seems to have gone to the same obsessive irrational homicidal place as Uncle Cicada. What if the Cicada who comes back after the flash disappears is not Orleigh but Grace. Nora may have helped create a bigger monster by trying to change the timelines. My head is going to start to spin thinking about all the possible time paradoxes.
  18. Barry could have at least knocked Cicada unconscious before he went to Nora. I thought Barry still looking troubled at the end would lead to him suggesting Nora go back to her own time. It still makes no sense to me that no one has brought it up again. I wonder why did Cicada look extra angry after flipping to Nora's pics at the end of the show. Her timely entrance allowed him to go free. Unless the intent of him injuring her earlier was to put an end to XS without killing her and seeing her up and running just added more fuel to his rage. I am getting tired of Cicada popping up every few episodes especially with all the plot contrivances that happened in this episode.
  19. Barry reading and enjoying Mick's book was hilarious. Cisco's cure has a high possibility of disaster. The ground rules he and Caitlin set is fine as long as they remain in control of the cure. Nora....I am starting to struggle with liking this character. She just goes from 0 to 100 and refuses to listen still. I get she was feeling guilt over working with Thawne, but as usual she lashes out and stubbornly refuses to see a different point of view. Then she goes back to Thawne after getting advice from Barry who of course probably would have said something different if he truly knew what was going on. Sherloque is still annoying, but I am glad he has gotten wise to Nora. Killer Frost is back and once again dispensing advice. I guess she is bad cop to Caitlin's good cop. I wish the writers would just merge Caitlin and Killer Frost into one personality.
  20. So Cicada and Gracie was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I do not like that Dr and feel like she is enabling Cicada and adding fuel to his anger with her comments/attitude. Irony is Cicada is a meta yet has deemed himself judge jury & executioner for other metas. Nora expresses her wish to save Barry and he was not even fazed by it. So I guess he no longer concerned about her changing the timeline. I suppose that has been implied since it has been said she has changed things, yet no one has suggested she leave. I know this episode was all about Nora facing her anger about Barry disappearing, but this also solidified my opinion that Future Iris reached her breaking point. Barry had so many close calls and there were times when they thought he was never coming back but he always did; until that event in the future. Sherloque: still don't care. I actually missed Ralph. Killer Frost comes out to set Sherloque and Cisco straight. She did the same with Ralph in a prior episode. I am guessing this is her role in Team Flash now. I really wish the writers had handled her character differently.
  21. I am not happy about Queenie and I think her turn to the dark side makes no sense. Jacob refused to follow her and she knows that will put her on the opposing side of Tina. I thought her enchanting Jacob was out of character. I figured it was a one off thing, but then they had her join Grindelwald. Talk about completing reinventing a character as I could not see Queenie of the first movie doing this. I did not find Grindelwald to be charismatic so I am having a hard time believing he can gather this many followers. I have found Johnny Depp to be charismatic in his past roles, but not as Grindelwald and quite frankly I do not feel like he is even trying to be. Leta was a surprise for me especially after the way she was described in the first movie. It was clear she has a conscience so for all her faults I do not think she was a "monster". I really liked Jude Law as Dumbledore. I do wonder if Grindelwald was lying about who Credence is, but there is the issue of the bird at the end which circled back to what Dumbledore said at the beginning. I like Newt and Tina and wish they had more scenes together in the movie. The few scenes they had showed why they would work as a couple. Newt asking Jacob for advice on what to say to Tina and trying so hard to follow it near the end of the movie. Tina understanding Newt despite his bumbling. I like the way she looks at him when he is being Newt; like he is just so adorable. Overall, the movie did not meet my expectations. I felt the pacing was off and things did not pick up until nearly the end. I was fine with Credence in the 1st movie, but he just fell flat in this movie which was not good as there was so much focus on him. It was interesting that Nagini tried to stop Credence from following Grindelwald considering who she ends up with later on.
  22. Up until the end of the episode I held on to the belief Gambi was still alive. I kept waiting for some clandestine sign from Gambi that he was alive. I doubt he would let Jeff and his family mourn him like this, so now I do believe he is truly dead. So Grace Choi is a meta. The problem I have is that her appearances are sporadic so it is hard to get invested in her character. They explain it away as Anissa being flakey, but it does damage to Anissa's character. I do not like the way Anissa has been shown to treat her love interests. Grace at least calls her out a bit, but imo it is time to fish or cut bait with those two. She told Anissa not to come back, but I highly doubt she will hold fast to that request. Unfortunately, I figured that Dr. Crazy lied to Lynn in order to manipulate her into doing what she wanted. Lynn's judgement was clouded or she would not have trusted her. I am starting to think the entire family not just Jennifer could benefit from therapy sessions with everything that has happened since the beginning of the season.
  23. This episode had some really nice Barry & Iris moments. It was just too bad that it was dampened the Nora and Iris issues. Barry looked very angry when Nora went off on Iris and I was expecting him to say something, but I thought he would have been a bit more harsh than he was. I have not felt that Nora was as immature as many people thought until tonight. She came across extremely childish whining to Cecile about Iris. I am glad that Cecile checked her on it, but after Cecile's reaction at the ball game last week, it just seemed like a complete 180. I still do not care about Caitlin's search for her father, but I can tolerate it as long as we keep getting the great Caitlin/Cisco scenes. Sherloque still does not fit. Even with his detective skills, he just seems forced. Iris jumped off a building to save Barry; no hesitation. I did not think I could become a bigger fan of her character, but Iris West-Allen is awesome. Well it seems that Nora is finally willing to give Iris a chance. Barry peeping around the corner at the end was so cute. Future Iris did not even want to talk about herself with Nora. It suggests that Iris had a huge personality shift in the future and that is concerning. However, Iris should not have taken responsibility for her actions in the future. It is good that Barry reminded her that she can make different choices and told Nora she needs to see Iris for who she is now. Rag doll was extremely creepy. Not the best episode to watch before bedtime.
  24. No you are not the only one who remembers Khalil's treatment. I distinctly remember Jeff telling Jennifer something along the lines of he needs time to heal or maybe the shooting brought out the real Khalil. Based on his behavior, I felt it was more of the latter. I thought it was just vile the way he went after Jennifer. After everything that happened with the bullying of her and then the attack on the school that nearly got her father killed, I do not see why Jennifer would turn to him. However, it did not surprise me when she did as this seems to be her M.O. Dr. Jace is not right. She looked almost gleeful and bit crazed after tonight. I was hoping Lynn would follow through on her threat, but she did not. I do not see this ending well for Lynn. Fowdy is dead and I am disappointed. Tobias blames Black Lightning for Syonide why I have no idea. I am starting to think that all this loss has warped Tobias' thinking and he will from now on scapegoat Black Lightning for every bad thing that has gone wrong in his life. Why is not one questioning why he has not aged? No amount of genetics or healthy living can make a person look exactly the same for this long.
  25. Thanks for clearing that up. Her extended lurking last season slipped my mind. That definitely begs the question of how she was able to go back in time since she herself said she could only turn back time for a short period of time. I cannot see Wally or Cisco sending her back to make such a huge change in history considering their own personal experiences. I think your theory of Nora using an enemy is sound and it would certainly fit her behavior so far. She can be impulsive and stubborn.
