I can’t imagine sticking with a team, being underpaid and not being upset you don’t get the glamourous role in your 5th or 6th year.

Yeah, my biggest complaint here is that to get on board, I need to see some “DCC style” improvement, and spending a year doing this kind of dance ain’t gonna get you there.

What’s up!? I’d just like some props because I was unspoiled (never again!!) and I just finished reading the entire spoiler thread. Took, what,... 2 weeks to read it all. I’m glad to be done, and hope I can join you here!! VK just posted a video on IG and she’s looks thin. Unfortunately, she’s doing lyrical, which is the last thing she needs to be spending any time on.

Someone above me said that VK already went to all the same classes, but while I think she did go to some, themajority of her prep was at Kitty’s (I could be wrong). Erin was everywhere and made a huge transformation. But also, erin’s Fundamentals are wildly better, so there is that. I was rooting for Ciara all season, But I think Erin is my fave. I’m happu for Brennan too, she deserves it and, for me, totally looks the part, but Erin is the real story they should have spent more time on.

Is Erin’s transformation solely credited to Kitty’s classes? Damn, they should have done a reality show on that.

She better find out exactly what classes Erin took, and then do that. Plus start listening exclusively to NPR and maybe take a college class or two to interact with some grownups.

Representation matters. I don’t disagree that they shouldn’t just be randomly taking women because they are black, but you absolutely will not convince me that only 2 of the NINE HUNDRED ;-) women that tried out were black women that could dance. also, I do think they kept malena because she is their ideal black woman. Super hot, well spoken, can talk about football. She was basically the total dcc package plus being non-white. There is no other reason to give her so many chances. I don’t know, I think she looked like she always did. Half asleep and slightly bored. I think that’s just how she looks, and is the reason I think she will never make the team.

I feel like looking at the eye chart and doing the”follow the light” thing feels a little like “oh, this is what doctors do in the movies!”, but I assume the doctor would have pulled her if she was risking spreading it to everyone. Right!?!?

Her hair is also waaaay too long, like 6 inches needs to come off. gina is in front of Lacey in the squad photo. I’d bet she’s so pissed. The squad only had THREE black women. Embarrassing. Caroline is unattractive. Sorry! brennan will stay for 4 years if she can make it. She kinda has to mow!

Kristin in the crowd at the meet the team was sweet. taylor looks awkward in the uniform lacey was cuter with dark hair and normal sized lips.

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS SHOW. TEN WEEKS they made these women work all this time. Rediculous and lame and makes me so mad. What a waste.

Is there anyone following this board that can say if everyone starts to feel ready to walk away at the end of a season? I also feel disappointed and almost like being unspoiled was pointless since so much more actual exciting stuff happened that I missed and that wasn’t shown on the show. Maybe its #metoo or the aforementioned “sycophants with their nervous chorus of "Yes, ma'am”” (copyright @tinabee1967) or the fact that everyone is so legitimately polished and good at dancing that it feels rediculous and arbitrary to drag out TC for so long and create fake stakes for the show. In earlier seasons, there were always some unpolished girls that needed some time and a makeover, and a lot of now socially-inappropriate body shaming, all of which made for a better show, but now everyone is basically field-ready. Even VK (who was not at all ready based on current standards) was way more field-ready than a season ..8 (?) Karissa or a first-tryout-Maddy.

I’m staring to wonder if Dayton’s cut wasn’t planned so she would still have the opportunity to try out for the cruise ship job. Like “if you think she can’t do it this year, please cut by xx date so we can go to these other tryouts” they had the tix to the UK overnight.

I agree that they don’t attract the creammof the crop, but I disagree that they ever did, and I TOTALLY disagree that this isn’t the best group they have had in years. Most of these women are excellent dancers, the show is only showing us the strugglers This “wedding announcement” is an embarrassing excuse to name-drop. I’d be pissednif I was her husband and she got 80% of whatever you call this (cause it has no paragraphs, can I still call it an article?) O M G. This would make sense on so many levels. Why they kept her so long, why she got so much air time, why she was over the top the entire time.

WATERPROOF MASCARA. oh, and she has no words ?? this was was the most I’ve liked her all season. She was mature and professional the entire time in the office.

The banner said “vet life outside of DCC” like this was a segment we’d been seeing all season! More! More! Amy’s fiancé has some freaking luck.
