  1. I am an Oregonian, and yes, we really do speak with the American non-accent accent. I have a friend from Puerto Rico who made me aware of it. I had no idea. Most of this season, I liked. I also wondered why Barb and Carol were still in the same prison. Prisoners get moved to other facilities all the time. Very sad for Taystee, Blanca, and Lorna (because that does not look good). Not sad to see Piper leave prison. I feared they'd find a way to keep her inside. I'm sure we'll still see her in Season 7, but she'll be annoying people in a different way.
  2. Ellie told Carver that there was a murder of a boy that had similar aspects to that of Danny's murder in Cannon Beach, OR. She said that Jack lived in Arch Cape at that time. Arch Cape is 7 miles south of Cannon Beach.
  3. Loved all the animal shenanigans in this episode. My daughter, who is a horse lover, said that it's really not that hard to lead a pony. You hold onto the lead rope close to the bridle and walk beside them (on the left side), you don't pull them with the rope. They aren't donkeys.
  4. I can't think of a single thing Alexander has made. I cannot stand Korina and I thought that motorcycle jacket had serious fit issues. Where were the shoulders? Her model looked like she was slouching. It wasn't good. I loved Kini's! That was a perfect first date outfit. Perfect for her age and her body. AND, you don't want to be too fancy or too casual for a first date (especially since you probably aren't going to a 5-star restaurant or to a NASCAR race). If I were 10 years younger, I would totally buy that outfit and I am not big on denim except in jeans. I also loved Emily's and her model rocked it. She was absolutely right about wearing it to a gallery opening. Perfect for that occasion.
  5. Because he always goes against the popular pick, my S/O is rooting for Brenchel to win. When I got disgusted with him last night, he asked me, "Well, who do you want to win?" and my answer was, "No one!" Yeah, I don't want any of the final teams to win. I don't like any of them.
  6. I'm pretty sure that Lysa knew that Alayne was really Sansa. She's the one who provided the hair dye, right? Robin didn't know.
  7. The pie that Joffrey hacked into with his sword was not the same pie that was served to the guests. The pie served to the guests was a pigeon pie - several were baked and served. The pie he hacked into is just part of the wedding feast ritual. It was either made of clay or wood (I think clay) and is meant to be broken into to let the doves fly out. It wasn't meant to be sliced by a sword made of valeryian steel. The doves aren't meant to die.
