Those are good points. But Erica's lawsuit got a LOT of attention, so those news outlets seem willing to run with it. I think she could put together a pretty good lawsuit though that would probably get them to settle (they did in Erica's case). I mean they fired her for a health condition and yet we have television footage of past contestants being kept around to allow them time to heal. Even if she didn't win, the publicity would be devastating.

Just to clarify, Holly wasn't cut -- she quit because she's a spoiled, entitled child who didn't like that she got scolded after being caught in a lie.

I don't understand that either -- maybe they think she's litigious and are thus scared of holding her accountable? But that just means that future girls who are held accountable can sue for differential treatment.

I agree. She has a cute figure, but her face just isn't pretty at all from several angles. And, yeah, the campaign her parents waged online was downright gross. But apparently, "character concerns" are now a plus when it comes to getting on the team. Both VK and Lisa had massive character related issues and they're still on the team while beloved Vets get the ax.

Yes! Agreed. I know they had concerns about her face and whether she was "HD ready."

THIS. I recall when VK was first on the show and gained all that weight. Kitty said they owed it to her (a training camp candidate!) to give her a chance to lose the weight. Kelli and Judy agreed. But for some reason no similar courtesy is due a beloved second year veteran recovering from a serious illness during a national pandemic. They just make the rules up as they go, and that is a hallmark of bad leadership.

And we can call them out on all their social media pages. The problem is that casual viewers don't know about all the shenanigans we know about but they probably do check out the social media pages.

At the very least they should go to the local news stations and papers and let it be known that the DCC cut someone for having COVID. They would run with that story -- I bet it would even get picked up nationally.

Last I checked, neither Lisa nor VK had commented on Brennan's post, and yet they typically comment on every post. Hmm . . . Edited to add: Oops, I see others have already pointed this out!

Oh, that’s easy: it creates drama for their reality show. These girls are mere pawns.

Dayton was cut just because they were hell-bent on taking VK (and would have had she not gained 10+ pounds in just a few weeks) and they wanted to make it look like they didn't play favorites (i.e., "yes, we took Kelli's best friend's daughter (whose technique is laughable) but we cut Shelley's gorgeous, talented daughter, so obviously we're super fair!"

True. And many of those are the older/out of shape contestants who they allow to audition just so they can make fun of them and make them look ridiculous.
