  1. The biggest difficulty will be weaving a narrative where it makes sense to cut Brennan versus just give her more time to heal. I mean they can't say "we're just out of time -- we have a game coming up!" The DCC can't even be on the field this season, so they could have totally kept her around for appearances and what not as she got better. But no, it creates more drama for the show to just cut her. How do you justify that? I suspect she voiced concerns along with Hannah, and we have learned that the girls aren't allowed to question anything, which apparently now includes being put in situations that threatens their health.
  2. Better grab it quick -- they'll probably soon be asking the girls to take their accounts down.
  3. I would suggest sending it to Perez Hilton and TMZ.
  4. Yes. And if they did have to shut down due to a breech toward the end of filming, that would have really screwed with things. Those are the most exciting moments! Watching girls on Zoom reacting to making the team just isn't nearly as thrilling. But I hope the filming was compromised -- karma!
  5. True, but I think a lot of attorneys would take this one on contingency. I mean we have allegations that they weren't following safety protocols when the cameras weren't rolling and we have women who voiced concerns being let go. That looks really bad! And even if the DCC would theoretically win a lawsuit, the publicity would be disastrous -- and let's be honest, the national media would run it given the salacious details and the connection to COVID. Thus, I think the DCC would be anxious to settle (like they did with Erica), and that money could be a great incentive for a number of attorneys to take the case on a contingency basis. Not only would the bad publicity prompt them to settle, but the DCC doesn't want to go through discovery where internal emails and other communications will be subpoenaed, etc. Who knows what shenanigans that would bring to light! I hope they do sue -- it won't get these girls back on the team, but it could be the wake up call this organization needs going forward to make some much-needed changes.
  6. I doubt they have the conviction to do anything at this point (honestly, I wouldn't have at that age), but I bet you in 10 or 15 years they'll look back and say "I wish I had done more to stand up for my friends when they were treated so unfairly."
  7. I have a feeling that right now there are conversations between attorneys for the DCC and attorneys for the girls.
  8. VK spent more time with these girls and thus had more things to share with TPTB . . .
  9. Agreed. Someone said that her only reaction to the fan outrage over these cuts was to chuckle and say "they'll get over it."
  10. You have hit the nail on the head. EXACTLY! That's why it's time for her to go (past time, actually). Kelli, it should be about the time -- not YOU!
  11. I heard the vets who were cut were much stronger than some of the rookies who made it, but Kelli was hellbent on being able to claim (given the current racial unrest) that this is the most diverse team ever. She probably thinks it'll make for great publicity. I also believe they also thought dancing wasn’t as important this year given that the girls won’t be on the field.
  12. That's why they added diversity. They want the praise associated with a diverse squad, but they don't want to put them on the field.
  13. I would agree if you are interviewing for a job that you could, theoretically, work until you die -- but being a DCC has a very short shelf-life. To me it makes sense that they'd be thinking of what they want to do afterwards and how being a DCC would help.
  14. Same. I just have a problem with the reports (from Vets) that Alora is a diva who requires constant attention and praise. Given the current crop of DCC, that's the last thing the team needs. Although given the dumpster fire that the DCC has become, what's one more match thrown on the pile? I also just don't think she's very pretty. Mediocre at best in the looks department.
  15. I'm sure lots of this year's girls are now understanding why Julia was caught, in her frustration, using the F-word last year. One of them is Tori, who I hear is just crushed. Hope people send her lots of love on social media -- from what I've seen, she is an amazing dancer. But, Tori, if you're reading this -- based on the absolute shit show that DCC has become, you dodged a bullet! You're now free to go out and do something that is actually meaningful and something where (unlike the DCC) talent and hard work can actually lead to success.
  16. Yes, I'm sure there are discussions taking place right now with their attorneys. They should be.
  17. Check out the photo used here: https://prodancecheer.com/nfl/nfl-says-no-cheerleaders-on-the-field-this-season/ 🤮
  18. If this shows air, I would bet you money that it will be presented as "Hooray, we just put together the most diverse squad in our history!" They'll make that the focus to try and detract from the fact that they cut Veterans who had the nerve to raise safety concerns during a global pandemic. So Kelli gets a more diverse squad AND gets to eliminate girls who dared to question her all at the same time!
  19. Yes, VK is the spawn of TK, and TK pumps VK for info that she can use to manipulate her best friend Kelli. But for Kelli and TK's friendship, VK would have never made the squad. VK is to TK what Wormtail was to Voldermort.
  20. I'm sure folks in their (and CMT's) PR department got very little sleep last night.
  21. #FFS (that's someone who needs a LOT of attention -- gross)
