  1. Stephen was wearing a red tie when Louis was wearing his red shirt. But at the end of the Tuesday show, Louis was still wearing the red shirt while Stephen was now wearing a dark colored tie. Oy. Hard to keep track. :) (I already deleted those episodes, so I might be misremembering and I can't check.) I also noticed a black ring on John Dickerson's right middle finger. Does anyone know if there's any significance to that? That sounds like a good possibility, shapeshifter.
  2. I also noticed John's ears! Did anyone else notice in the Monday show (Henry Winkler guest) that Stephen and the band members were dressed in different clothes for the Meanwhile segment. It was obviously taped on a different day than the rest of the show. And then on Tuesday, they were dressed in the same clothes as on Monday. It was obviously a double taping day, which Stephen even alluded to. I wonder why they did that. I've grown to love the Stephen and Evie segments. They're so adorable together.
  3. Samsung smart tv. I also have Roku I can use, but I like the TV remote better. I should watch it using Roku to see if that makes a difference.
  4. I'm not feeling this season so far. Too much going on with too many people. This episode felt like a hot mess to me. Jumped all over the place and didn't make a lot of sense. No one's mentioned this so far, so I wonder if there was something wrong with my Hulu feed. When Meryl was singing, none of the words matched her lips, like a really, really bad lip syncing. I think with Kimber as well, but I mostly was watching Meryl/Loretta. The song was quite lovely, but I was so distracted, I could only see the bad lip syncing. If I am the only one who's seeing this, how would something like that happen on Hulu?
  5. I don't think I heard on the show where their father is supposed to be. I know he died in real life, but it seemed like he's still alive in the show, just not at home. So where is he supposed to be now, and why is she clearing out the barn in the way one would after someone has died? Love this show, glad it's back.
  6. In the final scene in the kitchen, was Hank actually telling Lily the story, or was he just thinking about it, and as his mother said to him, "they would never speak of it again." If so, that makes me sad that he wouldn't share that with Lily. By the way, I liked this episode the best so far, even though the show is still a little silly/banal in a way that makes it good TV, but not great TV. As I said in another post, I'll always give Bob Odenkirk the benefit of the doubt due to Better Call Saul. :)
  7. I'm only hanging in because I loved Better Call Saul so much, and BO especially. I agree that this was the best ep so far, but it generally doesn't grab me that much. It's pretty hard to live up to a show as amazing as BCS, but I was hoping for a little more than this from his next project. I hope this one keeps getting better.
  8. So are you thinking she stayed in NY just for herself, not having anything to do with Tom? I hope you're right. I like that better than her going back into the restaurant to tell Tom she changed her mind. In the coming attractions, which I usually don't watch, Hank tells their daughter that Lily is "leaving them." That's what threw me.
  9. I don't think I understand the ending. What was that look on Lily's face after she "stormed out" (sort of) the restaurant? It looked to me like she realized how much she enjoyed the flirting and the kiss. I assume that guy is an old boyfriend. Then she leaves a message to Hank that she's staying a little longer. Did she sleep with Tom? (I think that's his name) That surprises me, since her initial response was so adamant, and seemed immediately real at the moment it happened.
  10. I'm missing a lot of the details of the show, I think. I didn't know they were in Steve's car, for instance. And I don't remember them actually getting the body out of the freezer and into a car. How the hell did they accomplish all that? And what was that final scene about with the older son? Where was he, and what car was he looking at, and what did he say about his mother before it went to black? Obviously, I'm not paying very close attention. :) (I'm just watching season 2 now, kinda late to the game.)
  11. So did she know that Poli had called Jon and left that message? I'm enjoying this more than l thought l would. Maybe "appreciating" is a better word than "enjoying." I really like Isaac Oscar and that's what made me start watching. I loved "Show Me a Hero" and really loved him in that heartbreaking story.
  12. Fascinating and thought provoking. I'm really looking forward to the next episode.
  13. Does anyone know where to watch "Chewing Gum"? I can't find anything online. Maybe it will come back to Netflix now that Michaela Coel has become so popular, or another streaming service.
  14. Didn't Leti say something to Tree about them fucking in high school? If so, guess she lied to Tic about their sex being her first time. I think Christina's acting is awful (carried over from previous week's discussion). Why did Montrose kill Yahima at the end? I honestly understand very little of anything that's going on in this show. I listened to the podcast for last week's episode (Ghosts), and they said certain things casually about the story that were probably obvious to everyone but me. I was like "what the fuck?????" I realized then that I understand almost nothing about what I'm watching. LOL!!
  15. I listened to that interview, and don't remember any of the specifics. Can you let us know what you're referring to? Thanks.
