I feel the same way about her. I didn't see her on Top Chef, so this is the first time I've seen her, and I am not a fan. She is too smug, too vain. Don't like her, and I was shocked Jet did not win. His food looked really good.

I remember Eluzabeth Faulkner when she would compete on the old Challenge shows. She is also a pastry chef, but everytime she would compete, she would have some big disaster and then would end up with the worst cake or no cake. I used to think she was incompetent! 🤪🤪

I am glad Blais lost because he needed to be put in his place for once. He has an ego as large as Alex Guarnaschelli. They both lost. And the show is now better for it!

I agree, this was not very good, in my opinion. It looks like they are out of sync a lot, and it was just boring. Sorry everyone that loves it.

I noticed the same thing. Her arrogance is so annoying and that whole ICAG thing that she promotes needs to follow her as they go far far away!

I am so happy for Darnell!! I love when he competes because he looks like he is having fun, and his food always looks great. I am also really happy about the blind judging and the fact that Alex lost in the first round. Most of the time when she wins I think it is just because everyone is afraid of her. So glad she is out and we don't have to listen to her all season while she expects to win. So time for her to move on!

My question should have been is Kelli mad that Victoria is not participating in these classes with the other cheerleaders? As someoneone mentioned earlier, aren't these classes a "mandatory" volunteer attendance?

I wonder if Kelli has seen this video? Will she be mad about no Victoria, in the class with everybody else and not in this video with everyone else?

Her daughter was on Kids Baking Championship and I heard or read somewhere that she got a lot of flack for that, and that is also when she stopped judging on triple g. I also remember once while judging with Richard Blais she made a comment about knowing what he meant by a comment and he told her no you don't. I don't think she made any comments that show. It was awesome. She was worse than ICAG if that is possible.

I agree the fix was in for her to win that season, but Guy Fieri gave her that ICGA nickname and SHE is the one who ran with it. She introduces herself as Iron Chef Alex Guarnaschelli. She made the name stick and as a judge on other shows she can be rude and condescending. And when you watch her compete, she does not take criticism well - at all! Just think it is time for her to get off tv, just like Melissa D'Arabian!!!

"Iron Chef" Alex! What a joke she is. Not a single Iron Chef still uses that as part or their identity but her! Sad for her that that seems to be her only claim to fame.

She's been grating on mine for years. I am so over her. She, in my opinion, has always acted like she is judging celebrated pastry chefs, instead of kids. She has a way bigger opinion of herself than anyone else has.

Last night there were athletes and judges pairings, and Carl was on. At first I thought "oh no, this is too sad," but then I realized that I was happy to see Carl again because he has always been one of my favorites. I was really missing him, but it was good to see him again, despite his being gone.

Well, you called that right. I am very disappointed because I thought the other team worked together. Christa did all the cooking and Jazz made a spicy sauce. That did not deserve to win, at least not to me.

I think Kelli is more worried about losing the show and all the "Hollywood" things she gets to do and the people she gets to meet. She probably cared about the brand in the beginning, but I think now it is more about her and the show.

"Seemed" is the operative word here. When you look at her pictures back when she was a DCC her facial expressions were always "hey big boy, need a date tonight?" I think she has been trashy since about half way through her first year on the team, when she started reading all the "hot" talk about herself.

Sorry, but although I think Duff is awesome with the kids, and really enjoys interacting with them, I don't think Valerie is good with them at all. Her interactions with them one on one seem stilted and phony, and I feel she is too hard on them with criticisms that much older and talented bakers would be getting. I am just not a fan of hers.
