  1. Sorry, I couldn't resist. Though it's really more of an insult to Jennifer and Clarissa, RIP.
  2. Didn't Meri make a big stink about needing that lot because Mariah's bedroom couldn't possibly have an east-facing window? I seem to remember something about the morning sun in her window being a non-negotiable.
  3. It's one of the base ingredients to make vegan food taste cheesy. It's actually quite tasty and has tons of vitamins and minerals. The Oh She Glows cookbook has an awesome recipe for warm nacho dip using nutritional yeast that even meat eaters love, including my husband and I. If Mariah lost the sourdough and replaced it with something healthier like a small amount of cooked quinoa, she'd have a pretty complete meal. That bread just looks unappetizing anyways.
  4. This reminds me of when they were selecting options for their LV houses and Kody was nagging Meri about the expensive options in her house. Meri shouted: "I won't have a slider, Kody!" Like it was the worst thing in the world. And...is that a dog in a rental? A FURNISHED rental? And Christine couldn't find one that would take her cat? Oh, please.
  5. I noticed that too, but any question I had was erased when he followed it up with "we are buying a house". Of course he had to inject himself into the buying assets situation, big shot that he is.
  6. I bet she crying at the realization that she’s about to lose her live-in nanny and might actually have to *gasp* look after her own children!
  7. Both Christine’s and Janelle’s now show as “off market” on realtor.com. Hmmm. Guess the wet bar wasn’t such a great investment. Either that or they decided to move back and are all going to pile into two houses! 🤣
  8. I wondered about that too. Using Instagram to fish for a new Sam, perhaps? I'd be curious to know how many of these randos she's snapped pics with that she reaches out to, or tries to cross online paths with, after the fact. You ladies are killing me today! LOL!!!
  9. HAHA - I wish that were true but I bet posts like this are just annoying to Kootie. She's tried - on camera - joking with her sister wives in Kody's presence that she would like more affection from "their" husband, cajoling Kootie when they're alone and now she's taking pics with random younger guys and posting come-hither pics while "modelling" for her LuLaNo business. ln my opinion, l these pics with younger guys just make Meri look old and desperate. Hey Meri, find a really attractive man your own age to pose with. There are plenty! THAT might raise Kootie's ire... and little Kootie as well. I bet he's just a nice guy who leans in for pics in general. Or he's trying to get a better whiff of her perfume. *sniff sniff* "Is that... Desperation?"
  10. That she did. I think she was trying to disappear. She knew what Meri was up to and kept her mouth shut, waiting for the eventual implosion. Just another example of how this lifestyle pits women against each other.
  11. As annoying as it is to hear Gabe brag about his "status" I don't blame him. He is but one face in a sea of faces in his family, set apart by almost nothing. The fifth of six children, the fourth boy, and not the baby of the family. Gabe may have been a problem child when he was younger (who could blame him) but in young adulthood, he has forged ahead despite the obvious family problems that plagued his upbringing. He is now one of the top students in his entire school for grades, was set to make the varsity wrestling team and in line for scholarships. Yes, those accomplishments have raised his "status" in school and rightfully so, as they were earned. (I hope he is worthy of that 'status" by being a great person too, but we'll never know). And now the rug has been pulled out from under him because he just doesn't matter enough to those who make the decisions (Kootie and Witch Face) and he knows it. He's obviously put a lot of work into developing himself and is losing the most out of all the kids being affected in this move. Nobody is standing up for him, not even his mother. Of course he's upset. He's made it quite clear to his dipshit dad that he's not buying what they're selling. We also know that his behavior will only put him further into Kootie's bad books but what more could he possibly lose at this point? He won't go quietly and nor should he.
  12. I think he would care if she left him or was caught physically cheating, but as long as what she does doesn't embarrass him publicly, he couldn't give a rat's ass. Also agree that he probably stews over her spending all her time making money for herself and doesn't contribute it to the family pot.
  13. Agree with whoever said she took this photo to make the clowns jealous. Of course show-off Meri is up for riding around with guys young enough to be her sons, After all, she's "got some muscles since she's been working out" (I see no difference). The "12 mile bike ride" probably amounted to slowly cruising around on pancake flat paved streets, huffing and puffing as her orange face melted under the tropical sun.
  14. I agree with this. My father suffers from mild social anxiety and for him, dancing is completely out of the question, to the point where he told me in advance he would not dance with me at the traditional "parent-child dance" at my high school graduation. My grad class was so unusually huge that we could only invite 2 spectators to the graduation ceremony which lead into the dance, so rather than being the only kid without any sort of partner, I disinvited him and my grandfather escorted me instead. My father must have felt bad about it because he made a point of, grudgingly, telling my younger sister he would dance with her grad 3 years later. She told him she assumed he wouldn't because he refused me, and she had already invited Papa instead. I had a difficult relationship with my father and at the time, it felt like just one more thing he wouldn't do for me. As I've matured, I've learned more about social anxiety and understand how he must have felt. In addition to being equated with going naked in public, the same feelings about being the centre of attention no matter the circumstances, are also part of social anxiety. My intelligent, rational father must have known that nobody would be staring at him, but his social anxiety would tell him that EVERYBODY would be staring and judging, and it would be AWFUL. It must be a very difficult way to live.
  15. I agree, and speculate that the lender is the seller. When the Browns received the counter-offer, Kody said something like "Ok we'll pay that price, but we're only going to put 10% down" to Shelbi, like that was part of the deal. Why else would the seller care how much they were putting down? Generally, how the buyer is financing the purchase isn't the concern of the seller, unless part of the deal is the seller will finance. Which makes sense given the Brown's seemingly very stretched financial situation.
  16. Someone else has probably said it, but I doubt any of the original 3 wives' kids have had much of a relationship with Kody since Sobbin came along.
  17. Yup, I hear you. I lived in a mobile home for 12 years; it was my answer to rental insecurity in an expensive resort town where I couldn't afford a house. I was 23 when I bought it; sold it at 35 for more than I paid and spent on improvements. It's a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath home with central air and a wood stove (and a furnace, ahem Robyn), and a huge covered deck. Living in a modest home allowed me to invest my money in my business, commercial real estate, stocks and buy my vehicle with cash. It also allowed my hubby and I save for a large down payment on our current house. Now, 2 years later, I'm in a 4 bedroom house on an acreage and love all my extra space, but I still long for the simple, affordable life my mobile afforded me. And I sold to a very nice single lady in her 50s who loves the place as much as I did.
  18. Agreed! I hope he reads this and gets a clue. In my opinion, with his hair off his face, he actually looks younger than he is. And of course, far less dirty and psycho.
  19. Yes, that's what he said about Ari, and I was completely appalled to hear it. I guess since her pillow, Robyn, is a night owl, Ari is too? My guess is Queen Robyn doesn't want to put her littles to bed at a decent time because then they will get up before she wants to. My 1.5 year old wouldn't be able to stay up that late, even if I bribed her, because she's ON A NORMAL SCHEDULE.
  20. This! Robyn is the queen of withholding. It was obvious she withheld getting pregnant with Ari until she was the legal wife, and now she seems to be angling for this move. Wasn’t there just a quote from an interview where Robyn coyly hinted that another baby could be a possibility? Wonder if that’s Kootie’s reward. Not to mention that 7-bedroom million-dollar mansion she’s supposedly holed up in right now. I’m not so sure Kody is tired with Robyn. Granted, with my toddler running around I wasn’t paying a lot of attention, but when the wives were arriving for the secret meeting, I looked up just in time to see Kody stupidly grinning away towards the door and thought, “Robyn must be arriving.” Yep. I don’t think his eyes left her until she was fully settled on the couch.
  21. Ok, I just finally got around to watching the whole episode and I want to know, who in their right mind gives a person in their late 40s a 30-year mortgage on a SECOND property?! I get that it’s technically a business loan not vacation property, but this is on top of what we all figure is an unconventional type of mortgage on her primary residence. Meri’s brother or whoever said he had to jump through hoops to make it happen - no shit! I would love to know the interest rate she got. Hopefully she took a fixed term instead of floating; rates were still very low in late 2017. And then Meri comments that she will still be paying off the house when she’s her mother’s age, like it’s something to be proud of. I really hope she can make a go of it because I don’t know who else would want that albatross of a house in Nowheresville around their neck.
  22. I've always thought Meri was odd looking but these past several seasons, it's only gotten worse. This is super catty, but to me her face looks like it was carved out of greasy modeling clay or play-doh by a student who neglected to smooth out the spots where their fingers dug in a little too hard, couldn't quite figure out the nose and so made it long, square and upturned with a big line down the middle and two balls on the tip with huge nostrils, and then left it out in the sun where the whole thing melted a little into a warped, droopy mess. Add a Neanderthal browline, sunken eyes and a big ol' thumbprint in the chin and you've got a very strange-looking face that overly orange makeup and a perma-scowl only make worse. I get that we all change as we age, but the difference between how she looked when the show first started and now is striking. She has changed far, far more than the other wives and not for the better. It's hard to know if her looks are due more to genetics, poor distribution of weight gain, bad makeup choices, botched plastic surgery, or is simply becoming a reflection of her personality. As for Kody's comment about "some things are better left unsaid" I think he was referring to all the truths he wants to throw at Meri but he knows there's no point. They're all thinking it, but have little to gain from saying it out loud. Maybe when the show is finally cancelled they'll get more honest.
  23. Thanks. I don't know how I missed that it was originally listed for $675k. What a pipe dream that was!
  24. If this website is to be believed, Christine's house was originally listed for $675,000 in November, with three price adjustments since then. It's now at $614,900. They're still likely asking too much, but they must be getting pretty desperate to have reduced the price by 10% in a little over 2 months. https://www.trulia.com/p/nv/las-vegas/4039-wild-eagle-cir-las-vegas-nv-89129--2076765327
  25. I wonder if it had anything to do with Christine and Robyn’s new “bestie” status?
