I just watched Wedding Every Weekend. It’s four months until they reunite—how long from the reunion to their wedding? Thank you!

I thought some of us had too much time on our hands. I haven’t seen any of that, and I’ve been reading as much as I could find. Clearly I need to widen my horizons. Wow.

Sheldon has little respect for language arts as far as I’ve seen. I also doubt that the writers consulted the actual definitions before using the words. I think they have wiggle room if they choose to use it. I have seen clips that make me think they might. I’m not planning to be disappointed either way. They’ve done a fine job with what they have.

I think you mean photographic memory. Eidetic memory refers to the ability to vividly recall images from memory after only a few instances of exposure, with high accuracy for a short time after exposure, without using a memory aid. Photographic memory, though often used interchangeably with eidetic memory, implies the ability to recall extensive details, like entire pages of text, with high precision. Genuine photographic memory’s existence is debated and hasn’t been conclusively proven. Maybe Sheldon uses it incorrectly. I’ve had a theory for a long time that his “smartness” is his ability to memorize, not his ability to think through concepts. I know that’s probably blasphemy, but it’s something I’ve wondered about.

I do have to ask—just out of curiosity, how far do you think the “memoir” piece goes? Just YS or all the way to TBBT? Clearly I’m spending way too much brainpower on this, but it occurred to me.

I know it’s going to piss a lot of people off, but I believe that’s what’s going to happen. Even if they use the word “memoir,” that doesn’t mean they’re using it absolutely correctly. That’s something we’ve seen before, and we’ve been given all kinds of hints about it along the way. Now whether it’s intentional, I don’t know. But there’s precedent. So if it does happen, I won’t be shocked this time. Did they ever say what kind of book Roseanne wrote when she played around with details? I also noted that George said it was “hot” when YS Mary acted like TBBT Mary. That could be part of why she changed her attitude.

Could we be heading for another Roseanne finale? That would explain the retcons. They were intentional.

I somehow had it n my mind that George died after Sheldon left, and that wss why Georgie was so mad at him. So I’m heartbroken and confused.

Yes, I have no life. Watching this mess on Christmas Eve. One question, do Kody and Robyn on their wedding day look as in love as David and Christine did the other night? I’m not seeing it. And love vomit? Sheesh!

My reaction to “next Sunday” was “I’m gonna be watching this on Christmas Eve?!?”

Robyn makes the rules about how polygamy works, you know? She determines how Christine can be divorced, and she determines how the “marriage” ends.

I guess part 4 is going to be all about Christine and David.
