  1. We have 5 Guys here, too. A bit pricey, but the burgers are so tasty. I am missing Fatburgers, though. Rumor has it the owner is seeking a new location around here. Crossing my fingers! We had In-N-Out the other night. Always delicious. Someone mentioned WhattaBurgers. We have one here. Ownership changed and so did the name, but the food is still the same. Love their burgers. @MyPeopleAreNordic When will you be having the hysterectomy done?
  2. Very true about the scheduling and taping. The reunion was filmed in early March and the AS aired live the first week of April. Maci filed the TRO the last week of March. Still, Maci has been very open about Ryan's addiction problem since the Puerto Rico trip and throughout the episodes. She discussed his addiction and her feelings during that season's reunion show. Maci doesn't have to spill dirt on Ryan. There isn't any dirt left to spill. It is all out there. At that point in time she hadn't filed the TRO, but she did mention in an episode how Ryan was harassing her and threatening her via texts. It only makes sense why Drew asked her questions relating to Ryan because she never had any issues discussing him before on camera. Drew is only reading the questions MTV wants him to ask the cast members.
  3. I don't think ALL of the advertisers actually know what is happening on the TM shows. They just know the demographics and with that, they know it is all about ratings and for them it is about money. Once the public (and us viewers) tweeted all the advertisers on the TM show about David (Jenelle) and his homophobic slurs, many of the companies jumped off and tweeted they do not want their businesses to be associated with someone who has such views. It wasn't the first time viewers complained to advertisers about the actions of the cast members, but it was the first time advertisers actually responded and pulled away from the show. Perhaps they don't care about being associated with people who commit DV or are addicts who are putting people in harm's way, but I also believe advertisers are just looking for hit shows to place their ads. Since many of the viewers were disgusted with Farrah's adult work, particularly the porn video, MTVs tactic was to throw them a bone. It gave them reason to bring up her porn work. The viewers who felt Farrah was a "ho" are now feeling satisfied and grateful that MTV heard and read their cries. She won't grace their flat screens anymore.
  4. This sign is friggin' hilarious! I need it! When I am watching RHoB and the husband starts talking to me, I quickly pause the episode. I give him whatever attention he needs because if I don't, he will continue to talk and I have to rewind about ten minutes of the episode. He used to be a RH watcher with me. But he stopped because he couldn't handle Yolanda's lyme drama bullshit. Now, he can't get back into the show because too many cast changes and I don't have time to explain everything that has happened. The thought of trying to explain Dorito to him...oy! Not making light of your situation @FairyDusted. You know I got your back. It is definitely a sticky situation. But I got a huge laugh at the McDrunkie comment! lol @MyPeopleAreNordic sweet comments for a sweet lady. :-)
  5. Maci had no problem discussing the issue on the After Show special with Nessa. She even discussed the filing of the restraining order. She had a lot more to say to Nessa than this reunion show. That is why I questioned her saying Ryan is "doing well" because clearly he is not according to her own words and actions. Maci has nothing to do with this situation other than secure the safety and welfare of Bentley and the rest of her family from Ryan's threats. His drug problem is not her problem to fix. I questioned why she waited to file the restraining order, but I am glad she did. I hope she doesn't change her mind or give in to any requests by the Enabling Edwards. I think they had a lot in common - drinking beer. Aside from the motorbikes and other related sports, Maci was, and still is, a party girl. She seemed to run in certain circles where guys like Ryan were likely seeking girls who were willing partners in more ways than one. @AirQuotes I agree with you on the therapy topic. I think it could be a bit of all that you mentioned. There are therapists who take their jobs seriously and don't want to play up for any cameras. I have an acquaintance who is a therapist. She once told me she would question any therapist who conducted work on camera for public consumption. Ryan is likely being told everything from no cameras in his life to trying to get back into the work force where there was structure and responsibility. For sure he is being told he needs to have accountability and that means no more alcohol, continued drug-testing, weekly therapy sessions, and all that is required in order to begin a sober and clean life. They likely told him to make a decision and to return when he is ready. Teen Mom is detrimental to the children on the show, at least the kids who are being exposed to abuse, neglect, drug use, and DV. It can also be detrimental to any adult who has drug and/or alcohol issues. The therapists are likely aware of the show and see it as MTV is purely exploiting the addicts on the show. We have watched how it plays a part in Amber, Jenelle, Adumb, and now Ryan's addiction problems. It sounds like Ryan and Mack are twisting what they were told into something else. I will not take their word on anything.
  6. Maci IS boring. Her story lines are mainly scripted or made-up.
  7. Maci's check is not dependent upon Ryan's participation, but her appearance on the show is the only reason Ryan is even on the show. Without her, Ryan has no "job".
  8. It is suitable considering his mouth and eye area both resemble a rectum. Ryan (back in the day) resembles Adam Ant:
  9. Yes and yes. Also, Amber is so lazy, shampooing and brushing her hair is just far too much of a hassle.
  10. I made it seem everyone felt that way when I should have been more clear. Not everyone felt Ryan's addiction was due to an injury and not everyone gave him the benefit of the doubt because of his looks. Without a doubt, far too many people are becoming opiate addicts due to the fact they are treating pain due to injuries. My mind never went with the whole brain trauma theory or car crash injury theory with Ryan only because Jen, Maci, Larry, and Mac never alluded to, hinted at, or came out and said Ryan had been dealing with medical issues stemming from an injury at work, home, or in a car crash. Jen is the biggest enabler to Ryan and we know she is covering up for him constantly. Even now she is in denial and making excuses for him. So, when she never mentioned anything about him being on meds due to an injury or accident, that was all I needed to come to the conclusion that Ryan was just your run of the mill addict who was likely popping pills with friends to get high.

    Farrah

Sophia was also there - in person - recently when Farrah had injections done on her ass cheeks. She sat in the room as her mom's ass was being filled up. I am so not surprised by anything anymore re Farrah and Sophia.
  12. I thought the same thing. Cate must have dreamt that bed time conversation. Nova: "I am NOT Carly."
  13. I am in the minority. I never believed in the car crash/brain injury/injury from anything else as the reason for his addiction. People actually can become addicts without any logical reason. I think Ryan got the benefit of the doubt because he is viewed as this good-looking guy (I don't see it) who comes from a relatively normal family (no drug addict/alcoholic parents). Baby Huey going after Gary had me livid. I am still livid. I am livid any time I see BH on my screen. That mouth-breather looks like he is about to have a heart attack at any minute. BH saying how Gary was sharing information to Amber about BH's past (when did that happen? Was he talking about it happening off screen?) and how it pissed him off. Um, look asshole, if you have a past and you appear on a tv show, chances are your past will be brought up somehow. @druzy is our resident P.I. and finds it all. Baby Huey is supposedly in "the industry" and he doesn't know that sort of thing happens on the regular? What an idiot. I have news for you Grizzly Adams, how about doing the right thing and approaching the father of Leah and informing him that you have a past and you want him to be aware of it before it comes out? If you are the kind of "man" who is going to do right by Amber and her "daughter", you could clear the air with him and let him know what your intentions are as the "step" father to Leah and part of that is to let him know what kind of "man" she will be exposed to. By not saying anything you only reiterate you are hiding something. You are no better than Door Matt.
  14. Why did Maci tell Drew that she thinks Ryan is "doing well" in response to his question about how she thinks Ryan is doing? She recently filed a restraining order against Ryan. He is not doing well. He is threatening her and her husband. Amber's math again. She said she and Matt had been together for three and a half years. lol She keeps stretching it out: After kicking Baier out of her house due to his admitted drug relapse, Portwood confided in her brother that she thinks her former fiancé has been cheating her financially for three years. “He told me that we could separate our bank accounts if it makes me feel good,” Portwood said. “Within the last three years we’ve been together, tallying everything up, it’s been $120,000 that I have no clue where it’s went. We’re not engaged and I feel like he’s a pathological liar.” Amber also mentioned how Matt lied to her about being married when he had in fact gotten married two days before. He got married back in November. Amber was still communicating with him as late as November?!! She didn't block him from calling her or texting her. She kept the door matt (Typo but I am leaving it. So appropriate) with his last name on it, and she was PREGNANT! Soooo gross.
  15. Amber signed legal documents giving Gary full custody. That is how he was able to have Leah full-time in his legal care and custody. It wasn't really going to jail that did her in. Plenty of parents go to jail or prison without losing custody or rights. At that time, Amber felt it was in Leah's best interest. She was right. Preach!
  16. Nope. Not weird at all. That is nothing but Cate's usual bullshit. She wants people to think she is not yelling at her daughter. lol Love it!
  17. What a beautiful family you have there. OMG your kids are adorable!! I am glad you decided to share this link here. I hope it helps. Hugs to you and your family. lol Very true!
  18. Thanks @druzy you have the best hard drive filled with all the goodies. :-) Amber also couldn't attend meetings because she said to Drew something about being "well-known" and losing anonymity. Boy, these assholes have the lousiest excuses. So, we now have at least two professionals advising Cate and Ryan to cease doing something for the good of their mental health (get rid of social media and quit Teen Mom), and they both ignore those orders. MTV is their real drug dealer.
  19. I am on the west coast so, I have to wait to watch, but I have to comment on this part. It has bothered me deeply how Cate is so non-chalant when it comes to Nova. In last week's episode when Nova was having her meltdown in the car on the way to school, Cate just brushed it off and ignored her child's feelings. Watching Nova have major apprehension about going to school made me think how many times did Cate have those same kind of moments and demanded attention from her spouse? How is it Cate can have all of these supposed moments of dread, but never once thinks that maybe her own child might be dealing with her own anxiety issues?
  20. Didn't Amber pull this shit as well when she gave the excuse she couldn't attend post-rehab meetings? Tell me I am remembering this right.
